Well what do you expect when the guys who are supposed to be getting the tournament are too busy with losing staff memebers and having lives. As if... Though if you really want to talk about the tourney, then I'll say that at the rate this thing is moving my opponent may just come back in time to fight. Either that or they just outright cancel this. |

It won't be cancelled, I can tell you that much. I've already offered my services as merely an organiser and kicking things off, there's no real reason why I shouldn't be able to do this for the first round or two. All I'd be needing is a background/introductory post and then I could set up the fights, like old times. Once more, I offer my organisational skills to the tournament - but not judging, I'd easily be able to screw things about. Or if people are really pressed for time, people can discuss ideas for the first round here and I'll just write something up from that and set up the brackets that way. We know who we're fighting now after all... My ideas: I'm guessing we won't be actually fighting in Hell itself during the first round, our souls and gear will merely be transported to a playground of sorts. What do you think would make a cool setting? And please don't say "a big lake because my character would be at home there" - let's give the current organisers some ideas. In the past there's been a ice lake that got melted and turned into a jungle, a dusty arena with a passing thunderstorm, a giant boat on the ocean(I think that was somewhere else I rp at tho...) let's get some creativity going. That moving train thing sounds fun (I like the idea of hoping from train to train as they go by), the elevator shaft seems way to small, though. Rooftops, again, seems fun to be hoping from rooftop to rooftop, but it does seem a little cliche (TMNT anyone?). The "across town" thing seems a bit too broad (maybe for the 3 player semi-finials) Space is a bit cliche, but meh, sounds fun fighting in (assumably) zero-G ,and well, let's just say everyone better hope they don't get me in the burning building. (>:D) The warzone sounds a little complicated and uninteresting, as there wouldn't be much hand-to-and combat at risk of being shot. On a busy highway seems a little like the subway and the trains put together, but meh, could be challenging. as for through time.... seems to involved. As for my ideas, they include an impossibly long skydiving battle (yes, they fight while falling), a fight in an abandoned something, some sort of training room where easily expendable robots (or something else) keep spawning, a sewer, a plane terminal, a plane, and to add some I could use to my advantage, a jungle, that ice lake you where talking about, an assembly line, and a huge storage building. And some fun ones; shrunken down in a animal cage (like a hamster or something), on the ARK, and in a Japanese city. (being 50 feet tall, of course  )

Everyone we need no ideas it is all planned out, story and arena styles are set. Anyways.. I'm deciding to just go forward with me and TUC as judges based on a points system to all but remove the possibility of a draw. I will take over Venny's shift of work unless TUC would like to share it and while the offer is generous MoD, I'd like you to be able to enjoy this tournament without having to do much major work. I will likely kick off the first round prior to September 4th as that is day 1 of PAX.. so expect to FINALLY be getting to do what you came here for. |

Sound's good to me, I woulda told you on MSN (and even though I didn't see you on since you're busy as well, probably should have on PM) but I couldn't find a replacement judge and didn't wanna bug Bliz about it. So I just decided the points system would work fine for the 2 of us. |
