I was actually going to make a thread asking for advice on some choices. Nevertheless... I've had big hopes on being a writer and a graphic designer. I'm pretty decent in math and have awards for a few school copetitions I've won. But I seriously suck at technology which really crushes any possible opportunity I may have had for graphic designer... Don't know. I'd love to go to Japan, Egypt, France, England, Canada and even the US so I may do some traveling when I'm older. I was looking around for other options and my teachers often ask what am I going to study. Ironically, many of them often suggest something of whatever they're teaching me because I have a good grade point average on all classes. Lately, however, my Spanish and English teachers have been insisting me on literature. My English teacher keeps telling me that she 'wants my first book when I write it' and the Spanish one told me to study it and aim for big things or at least a college professor. I blinked when she said that. My least suitable place would be college professor? Maybe she's overestimating me... Then again, another thing I've been considering is Math College Professor. I actually got a letter from a Math Olympics thing I was a finalist at that said something about that College offering a $4000 scholarship to study Math and Science. "We need more Puerto Rican geniuses teaching others out there," and it said something about how students who take these classes might get offered to be US Math professors and stuff. Shrugs It does sound like a change of scenery but I'd still have to check at the College's office or something to see. I got some contacts today and my dad will be talking to dean at that College to see how I can apply to taking Calculus 1 next semester and Calculus 2 in January 2010. Maybe even Calculus 3 in Summer 2010 but I'm not sure I want to push it... I only need 3 maths to graduate High School and I have Algebra 3 under my belt, I'll finish the 11th grade with Geometry and Precalculus and aside from Calculus, I'm already planning on taking some simple Stadistics class on the side. And the last option is biotechnology. I went to a little briefing about it and I really liked it. Our Chemistry teacher took us and said something about it being a good career and such, though it would consist on me being locked inside a lab for days and most likely having to finish my studies elsewhere... Don't know, aren't too sure. And my last resorts would either be chef or sociology. In other words, a lot of options...

Now that I got that out of my system, I think I'll most likely vouch for something along the lines of video game design, most likely along the engineering aspect. I'll probably be taking some specialized courses to get a firm grip on the whole idea, but, you know, these things take time. Argh, annoying alliteration. If I don't manage a spot among those lines, I'll probably be a comedian. I hear their pay is amazing. Besides, I'm seen as a pretty funny guy, but I gotta do a teensy bit of work on the whole "awkward silence" and "performing in front of thousands of people" aspects. Just a bit unnerving.
