I myself get about 11-15 games per year, or about 1 a month. how about the rest of you? |

When I moved out of my parent's house and joined the workforce, I started buying at least one game a week. Some weeks it would be three or four at a time (I'm a big stickler for buy two/three, get one free sales). So that would be well over 51 games a year. Lemme just say this has started to backfire on me. With my salary, I can afford to buy pretty much any game I want to play, ever. The problem is I just don't have the time to play pretty much any game I want to play, ever. There have been many times where I bought a game, played it for five minutes, and then didn't touch it again afterwards. I even have one or two I bought but never played at all. So now I am taking steps to fix this problem. From now on, I try to question myself every time I think of buying yet another game. Will I actually play this game? Will I actually finish it? If I realize I'm only buying it out of curiousity or boredom, I'll try to talk myself out of buying it. Oh, and I'm trying to actually play the backlog of games I've built up. Probably 1 game in 2 months. I do not buy games that often. I just buy something if I see something nice, or if I've heard something good about it. |

I picked 21 or more a year, because I think I normally do get more than that if you are counting the whole year. I normally get one or two a month, then you have to count in holidays and such where I might get a bulk amount, 20 might be pushing it, but I'm not totally sure anymore. |

I'm a gamer and always will be a gamer. If you don't believe me. I have 430 Video Games and 19 Consoles. I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P So, let's see if you can outdo "The Jet Gamer"

If you mean legally bought in a store then 0-5 and overall with torrents I say about 21+. |

I'm pretty sure they mean bought in real life since torrents and stuff you downloaded online are not legally yours, so I would never count them since I don't download a game unless I own it already. |

One game each month while perhaps twice on special occasions. But I usually ain't crossing that border. Need to play through the games, or else the money is just been spent on something totally unimportant. So I can almost see the troublesome collection Nail owns. I guess there is plenty with hours there to play. Hope em all is worth it. Anyway that's my vote. 11-15 games each year. |

I probably buy 6-10, but It can be mixed. In the past fiscal year, I bought 17 games. I have 24 games now. The 2007 fiscal year, I didn't buy any games. 2006, I got a 360 and 6 games for it, and 3 games for the xbox. I used to get about 8 games a year for my Ps2 before It broke, same with my genesis before it broke. I return games to Gamestop a lot so... |

I normally buy 1 game a month, then every 3-4 months I trade in some games that im bored with so I get an extra game every 3-4 months, plus I normally download a game form the VC once a month so thats.... *counts on fingers and toes* Ah hell I'll just pick the highest option. |

I get like 5 games a year. If you ask me, they're fun but eventually you'll get bored with them. I think there are more practical was to spend your money. But getting new games is nice, have something to play for a while. |

Mind you guys, I may buy a lot of games, but a lot of them are old NES, SNES, PS1, and PS2 games. So I'm usually paying $15 or less for them. Many are under $10. But this is part of why I have games I only play five minutes and then never touch again. I didn't invest much money into them, therefore I don't lose much if I don't play them. Although I'm trying to get away from that thinking right now. Even if I didn't pay much the cumulative effect of buying so many has cost me quite a bit. Edited by Nail Strafer, Apr 16 2009, 05:06 AM.

I think my response would have to be scaled down to "How Many Games do you buy in a week"  Seriously, I buy at least one game (when I'm on the cheap, mind you) a week. In fact I'm waiting for an old DOS one (in its original box with manuals and both sets of disks, one set being the OLD OLD 5 1/4" 1.2 MB (or maybe its 360 KB...) floppies)

I bought like 10 games last year for PSP/PS3. 4 games so far this year, so 5-10. Before last year it was only like 1-3. lol |
