So I know I've been inactive on this forum for a while, but I have been doing something. I've been collecting/building with my previously excluded boxes of Bionicles. I've been a fen since they came out in 2001 (I was 5 or so then) And I've been buying and building them ever since. I have several MoCs (My own Creation/s) And I've got a Toa team and a story-like-sort-of-thing and stuff. So I was just wondering, does anyone else on this forum like Bionicle? And If anyone here doesn't know anything about Bionicle, I'll happy answer any questions regarding the subject. |

ah, bionicle. good times, good times. i remember i got the first Gali set when i was like, 6. i thought it was so awsome...till i found out Gali was a girl...i got every Toa, Turaga, Bohrok Va, Toa Nuva, Rahkshi, and Toa Metru. i don't buy a lot these days, but i have at least one of every set of six though. |

Ahh, BIONICLE. I indeed love these things. The toys are pretty cool lookin'(I buy them mostly because they look epic, and as I once heard stated in a magazine 'there's nothing as zen as building a BIONICLE'), the storyline is amazingly complex for a TOYLINE, and frankly, they're just plain cool. |

No, but I designed some FC's and actually plotted out what the models would look like if they were made. However, I don't have enough spare parts to assemble the MoC's, plus I don't want to disassemble all the Bionicles I own just for parts. |

You could scan me the designs and I could try and build them for you If you want. Funny thing is, I never keep my sets together for more than a few hours or so (I do plan on keeping Jetrax together I while, however). The only things assembled in my room right now are MoCs. |

i have a lot of Mocs, but no pictures...well...i have a few on LEGO.com, but those are my small suckish ones. look up gallery models for Sciguy209. i rip apart my sets to. remember how i said i had every toa, turaga, rakshi, etc.? well...none of them are still assembled. |

Bionicles... I love them all much.. But i stopped buying them ever since Mistika... Even though i bought Icarax and Takanuve (Titan), I found the sets pretty horrible. Cant wait for more sets this year.. maybe i'll grow interest again. |

Yea, being a MoCer, I dislike how Lego went from new pieces and similar designs each half-year to barley any new pieces and varying designs. If I was just a collector, Which I'm guessing is what Lego's target buyers are, I'm sure I'd be much more appreciative of this new method. It's also annoying how they've "standardized" all the colors of the pins from the good 'ol subtle black to all these bright, obnoxious colors. The current Toa Design is to oddly proportioned (Way flat bodies and monkey limbs) And this brand new Matoran/Agori/shorter beings is just too basic for It's pricepoint. I'll take Cheaper boxes/canisters and more intricate designs/ more new pieces over the former any day. On a lighter note, I'm really looking foreword to the "legends" sets coming out in the summer. Another movie coming out too. Hope they do the same thing they did in the first three, considering It's a different company making it this time around. ....................... No questions so far? i hate the new Toa designs too. now days it seems that only weapons and masks are new. and another thing, what about mask powers? that used to be the core concept, and now they don't pay it any attention! |

I used to love collecting those things, but then it just became a nuisance. There always seemed to be more and more out and I could never keep up. That and some of the later designs didn't suit my fancy. I'm a big lego junkie. I forget where I stopped collecting at. I also don't do those movies/series. They were only for the building aspect.
