Its not uncommon for games deveolpers to rerelease old games and give them a graphical make over, it happened with Tomb Raider when they release Annversery and it happened with Pokemon when they release Firered/Leafgreen. So my qeastion is if Sega decided to remake Sonic Adventures with updated graphics and improved game play, what would you what changed?, would you even buy it if they rereleased it? For me Sonic Adventures was one of they better games in the 3D sonic era, it would have amazing potential and would probatly sell loads with just a grapics upgrade. |

Do people really read these?
|
They'd probably sell better than the more recent games. |

I think it would do nicely. It'd probably get ING on their good side. Or not... |

Seriously, have you heard of SADX or SA2B? Those are basically what you're describing. |

I don't see why there should be a remake of the Sonic Adventure games. I mean, other than for a little eye candy, why would Sega re-release these games? When you can just buy SADX/SA2B, which would be much cheaper than what is basically the same game, except with a graphical update and a $50-60 price tag. ~Sonic Boom~

I think she means complete graphical makeover, all new textures, all new models, etc., not just a few model-swaps ![]() And some new levels would probably increase sales, too Bonus levels and such.

Exactly. Games get remade, but not usually more than once. |

One, i'm not a she. And SADX was a port that had very little changes in it, what im talking about is taking the grapical powers and game play of recent Sonic games and incorpirating them into remaking the game. |

Eh, Sega could be putting their money into better things. I didn't even like SA2 *ducks*, and SA1 already has DX, which as far as I know is out for about every console imaginable, including PC. Add a few new levels, new graphics...why not just make a whole new game? While I agree that Sega should go back to what they know works - and SA1 worked - remaking a game over and over again isn't the path to success. |

What do you mean? SA2 (Dreamcast) was remade to SA2B (Gamecube) as well as SA (Dreamcast) was remade to SADX (Gamecube) Why remake a remake? It just doesn't make sense... |

Gamecube and PC. They were the only platforms that got the remake, same with SA2. Only gamecube received the re-make. Plus SA2B wasn't as much as a re-make or upgrade, more like re-release. The graphics were exactly the same. |

This is one of those very rare instances where I agree with you. Why remake a game that's already being re-made. If a game is good, then that's fine. But seriously? Why do you need to over use the same games several times? |
