Part 1
It was a dark night. The rain was rapidly falling. An average of 10,000 drops hit the road every second. The thunder was the loudest it has ever been. It even struck a few of Mobius' citizens. And those citizens unfortunately turned to ashes then. But at least they could still talk and the thunder couldn't hurt them anymore. But somewhere on planet Mobius, there was a place that was even more dangerous then the amount of damage a million thunder storms can do combined. The building was on top of a large mountain. It would take days to climb the entire thing up on foot. Unless you were really really fast. It would feel like you were going nowhere. Until you reached the top, and saw the egg shaped building. It had statues of this strange egg shaped human everywhere. It was like this place worshiped that person. Even in a thunder storm, robots were working everywhere. That is how busy this place can get.

On the inside, it's like a giant factory on the bottom floor with dangerous lava on the ground. It's like whoever would want to visit this base, the owner wanted them to be challenged. Just like the old days. If you wanted something, you had to fight for it. And if the molten hot lava wasn't enough there were armed robot guards everywhere. Of course, it wasn't unusual for a robot to fall into the lava by itself. If you were to finally climb up the entire bottom floor. Bottom of stairs to top of stairs. Jumping from pole to pole. Platform to platform. Spring to hoop to tube, everything. You would finally reach the office. And sitting in this office was Dr. Eggman and his two henchmen, Scratch and Grounder.

Dr. Eggman was trying to think of his next move. What could he do to get rid of his arch enemy, Sonic The Hedgehog? What could he do to take over all of Mobius? He has been trying for years and years and has never been successful. Everytime, he would be winning at first, but then he miserably fails thanks to that blue hedgehog. Or as he likes to call it, "that good for nothing rodent." He didn't know what to do next. And it was even harder to concentrate because he two robot henchmen, Scratch and Grounder, were playing on the other side of the room. Well actually, they're arguing.

"How come I have to be the baby and you get to be the mommy?" asked Grounder.

"That's because the doctor likes ME the best!" said Scratch proudly.

"Oh yeah? Well can you do this?" Grounder suddenly took Scratch and turned him into a ball. Then dribbled him and threw him into the basket. "Touchdown!"

"That's football you dumbhead!"

"Oh."

"Well, I bet you can't do this!"

Right after Scratch said that, the two got into a brawl and started pounding each other with fists, kicks, weapons, everything imaginable. While creating lots of noise that Eggman got so frustrated that he stood up.

"Grr, SHUT UP YOU THUNDERHEADS!" yelled Eggman.

But then, Scratch and Grounder crashed into a drawer and basically destroyed it. All the materials inside that drawer were destroyed and liquids spilled damaging the two robots.

"GAH!" yelled Eggman. "Not my storage of chemicals and rare materials!"

"Sorry doctor, it was GROUNDER'S fault!" said Scratch.

"No, it was your fault!" said Grounder.

"SILENCE!" yelled Eggman.

"Yes doctor!" both robots said in a heartbeat at the exact same time.

"Good," said Eggman. "Now, before I punish you two knuckleheads, I have a favor for you two to do." Eggman took out a box of files that all seemed to start with the letter C. It seemed like the box couldn't hold anymore and that it'd explode in any minute. But it didn't thankfully for Eggman.

"What is it?" asked the two robots.

"It's my plans to take over Mobius and defeat Sonic the Hedgehog that start with the letter C. I want you two to pick one randomly. That will be the next plan we launch on that pathetic Sonic and his friends. Even thunderheads like you can't mess this up!"

So the two robots picked out a plan. They were hoping like crazy they wouldn't mess this up. But you know, they actually did.

"I picked a plan out for you doctor!" said Scratch.

"I bet the plan I picked out is better!" said Grounder.

"Nothing you pick out is ever great! You bring bad luck to this whole base!"

"Well, at least I don't uh.......................I don't know. But you stink!"

"SILENCE YOU MORONS!" yelled Eggman. "I'm going to pick out my own plan instead." So Eggman closes his eyes, reaches for the box of plans, and picks one out of the box. Eggman then read the plan, and had a very wide grin on his face and began to laugh.

"This plan is PERFECT! Ooo hoo hoo hoo hoo!"

Then all of a sudden, the box exploded due to holding too many files in it resulting in a mess where all the papers in the files became one big pile. Scratch and Grounder were hoping they would not have to clean up that mess. But to their dismal, Eggman says,

"Clean up that mess you hooligans! That is your punishment!"

"Aww man!" said the two robots in unison.

So Eggman has his plan. What kind of plan could it be? And what will happen to Sonic and all of Mobius when it is revealed? They can only hope one thing, that it doesn't result in a victory for the egghead. So, when will you find out? Well, it might actually be right now. The next day, Sonic was running through the busiest city of Mobius. It was where almost everything happens. Where you could find the latest scoop on everything.

The city itself looked pretty modern. There were buildings everywhere. Bottom parts being little stores. While the top of the buildings being homes for many Mobians. There were restaurants, the ones with chili dogs being Sonic's favorites, clothing stores, theaters, book stores, music stores, everything you could think of! But Sonic wasn't heading for those stores. He had reached the beach of the city. There were people everywhere just having fun in the sand. All sorts of sand castles were made. Big ones, small ones, and ones that looked like models. Okay, that's just what men wished. Maybe Sonic was one of those men.

Sonic finally stopped right on the beach and saw Tails and Knuckles. They were sitting down just looking up to the sky. Knuckles was wearing sunglasses. Which he doesn't do too often. But that's because he is always planted on Angel Island. Where he never really needed them. It is a miracle that they got Knuckles to come.

"Hey guys!" said Sonic.

"Oh Sonic, you finally made it!" said Tails.

"You're pretty late," said Knuckles.

"Well, I was held up by a with a girl I see more then I should," said Sonic.

"You mean Amy was playing with you again?" asked Knuckles as he slid a small smirk across his face. He even chuckled a little.

"I don't think I'd call it playing Knuckles," said Sonic like he was a little disturbed by his comment. "What Amy likes to do is no where near playing."

"Well, it's okay if you don't want to go on a date at the restaurant!" said Amy as she finally caught up.

"GAH!" Sonic, Tails. and Knuckles said in a surprised tone.

"The beach is just as good of a place for our love!" said Amy.

"Ugg, just don't get too close to me Amy," said Sonic. "This wasn't actually supposed to be a date."

"Really?" asked Amy. "Well, NOW IT IS!" Then Amy gave a small kiss on Sonic's cheek and then chuckled a little.

Sonic sighed. He couldn't seem to have a day off from this girl. No matter how fast he ran.

So the four stood there for awhile. Just enjoying the sun and maybe playing in the sand. Knuckles and Tails even went in the water. But Sonic couldn't obviously since he couldn't swim. Amy sat right next to Sonic the whole day building sand castles with him. Sonic wanted to run around the beach but Amy managed to keep Sonic right where she wanted him. Sonic had a very annoyed look on his face the whole time.

Hours passed and nightfall was finally reaching. Tails, Knuckles and Amy looked pretty disappointed. But Sonic had a wide smile on his face like he had just won the lottery. But before the gang left, they heard something. Something you usually don't hear.

"Hey guys, did you hear that?" asked Tails.

"Definitely did," said Sonic.

Then all of a sudden, a big ship was flying over the beach. It looked really big, like a giant blimp. It made people think it could come crashing onto them. It'd be a big killer. But it doesn't. It actually opens up on the bottom in a swift motion. Then it drops something onto the beach. People were running around everywhere trying to get somewhere where it won't land on them. Everyone got to safety. Except one unlucky Mobian. Whose last words were, "I'm...........not okay."

"What is this?" Knuckles asked in a puzzled tone.

"It says, welcome to the Egg Carnival...," said Sonic.

Part 2
This area that just randomly dropped from the sky had lights all over it. Red lights, yellow lights, large lights, small lights, everything imaginable. The entrance indeed said Welcome to the Egg Carnival. With the ugliest Eggman head you could think of right behind it. All over a sudden, a ticket booth dropped from the sky right in front of the entrance. And Eggman was right inside it in a black long sleeve shirt and red and white striped pants.

"Step right up folks to the most amazing ride of your life!" yelled Eggman, "The Egg Carnival! We've got everything a carnival has and more! So please, step right in and be the first to experience this ultimate adventure! Ooo hoo hoo hoo hoo!"

"What makes you think we won't think it's an other one of your dumb schemes?" asked Sonic.

"Well hedgehog, just seeing all of you throw up on those roller coasters is just evil enough for me today. SO GO GET IN THIS CARNIVAL NOW EVERYONE!"

"Well guys, what do you think?"

"Eggman is stupid if he thinks we'd actually fall for this," said Tails.

"What if Eggman is telling the truth though?" asked Knuckles.

"Oh yeah, like we're going to believe mister I believe everything Eggman says," said Sonic.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!" asked Knuckles furiously.

"Oh, hush down Knuckles," Sonic said with a smirk.

Then Amy tackled into Sonic and said, "It looks so much fun! It's the perfect date! Let's go in Sonic!" So Amy drags Sonic and runs into the carnival. But Eggman stops them and says this.

"Wait a minute, before you go into this joyride, take one of your own free complimentary Eggman Carnival toys! The Eggman doll!"

The doll looked like an exact replica of Eggman. Except it was much smaller, it wasn't as easy to break it, and it could do lots of little actions like walk, jump, and say a few lines. Amy took the two dolls and ran inside as fast as possible. And everyone else besides Tails and Knuckles followed inside.

"Tails, shouldn't we go with Amy and Sonic?" asked Knuckles.

"I guess so," said Tails. "We should make sure everything is safe here for the other Mobians too."

So the two walked in and got their Eggman toys. They both decided to keep it and let Tails analyze it back at his lab later. As they walked to find Sonic and Amy, the toy Knuckles was holding had a small smirk on its face suddenly.

Meanwhile, Amy and Sonic were about to go on a Ferris wheel. It was quite large and all the seats had Eggman's face on it.

"Hey Sonic, let's go on that ride!" said Amy happily.

"Why don't we just go home instead Amy?" asked Sonic nicely.

"Oh Sonic, of course we're not going home anytime soon! Come on!"

"Wait, woah!" As they were running, they dropped their two Eggman toys into the trashcan where they basically broke because there was liquids in the trash. From water to juice to soda. Even vomit! So Sonic and Amy went to the entrance of the ride. They got onto one of those seats and the ride began. We'll get back to these two later. But now let's go with Tails and Knuckles. They have been walking and they see a wall that Tails thinks is really cool.

"HEY KNUCKLES!" yelled Tails.

"Ugg, what Tails?" asked Knuckles.

"Take a picture of me standing in front of this wall!"

"Are you kidding Tails?"

"Not at all! It looks too cool!"

"What's so cool about it?"

"I don't know. But we might as well do something since our search for Sonic and Amy seems hopeless."

"Fine, if you say so."

So Tails gives Knuckles the camera and stands right in front of the wall. Those five seconds seemed to pass Tails really fast. Then the flash came and the picture was token.



But right after that picture was token, the Eggman toy Tails had had glowing red eyes. And then, all the other toys around them had glowing red eyes as well.

"It looked like a good shot," said Knuckles. Then all of a sudden, the toy Tails had climbed up onto Tails' head and connected wires from itself to Tails' head. "Tails! That robot seems to be doing something to your head!"

"Get it off Knuckles!" But it was too late. The robot's wires were stuck on tight. Then all of a sudden, Tails lost all control of his mind. It was like he was now just watching his body do stuff and that someone else was controlling all of his body's actions. His eyes were glowing red just like the robot's was.

"Don't worry Tails, I'll find some GAH!" Then Knuckles' robot took control of him. The exact same way. Same with other Eggman toys. And it kept spreading and spreading.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Amy were still riding on the Ferris wheel, but then it suddenly stopped. And it stopped when the two were on the very top on the Ferris wheel.

"Oh Sonic, this seems like the perfect spot for a date," said Amy in a romantic tone.

"Um, sure Amy...," said Sonic a little disturbed.

"Hey, we're staying up here for an awfully long time. So, why don't we..." then Amy's lips started to reach for Sonic's lips. She had her strawberry lipstick on. Sonic had had just about enough of all of this and jumped off the Ferris wheel. Leaving Amy pretty mad. "Hey Sonic! I'm not done with you yet!" Then Amy jumped off the ferris wheel.

"Woah!" Sonic landed pretty well. But then Amy landed right on him. "Ugg, that hurt."

"Aww, I love you too Sonic!"

"Grr.........hey. Why does everyone have those Eggman toys on their heads?"

"Hey, you're right Sonic! What's going on? I'm scared!" Then Amy hugged Sonic as tight as she could. As if she had to hold on to him or else she'd fall to her death.

"I.....can't......breathe.......Amy!" So Amy then let go. But then all of the Mobians started to head toward the two. It was like they were all in some kind of trance. Like they were focused on nothing but the two of them.

"Sonic, what are they going to do?"

"I don't know, but at least I was right about this place being nothing but a big trap.

"Well we can't hurt them Sonic! They're all innocent Mobian citizens!"

"That's why I don't really have an idea of what to do Amy..."

PART 3
They were trapped. Hopelessly trapped. Alot of Mobian citizens with little toys on their head surrounded the couple. It was dark in the sky now and it seemed like their time is going to be ending right on midnight. But then, Sonic made a move. A very risky move.

"Let's move!" yelled Sonic as he grabbed Amy's hand and zipped right past the Mobians. The Mobians kept on moving. Following them like zombies. Except they moved much faster. But they were no match for Sonic's speed. Still, they couldn't leave the Mobian citizens like this. They had to figure something out.

"Got any ideas yet Sonic?" asked Amy nervously as she was watching the Mobians run after them.

"Not yet, still thinking!" Sonic said as he kept on running. But then all of a sudden, Sonic stopped in a split second. Nearly breaking the floor. And nearly making Amy have a heart attack. Heh heh. What was standing right in front of Sonic was a two-tailed fox and a rec echidna. Both with robots on their head.

"I don't suppose those robots on their heads mean anything right?" asked Amy in a very very scared tone.

But it did mean something. They were captured by Eggman's plan too. Tails and Knuckles were preparing for an attack on the couple. But Sonic dashed away before the two could even land a hit on them. But Sonic knew in his mind he couldn't run forever. If he didn't stop this now, all of Mobius was going to be under Eggman's control. He had to stop this now. But how was he going to do it?

"I can't believe Eggman even got Knuckles and Tails!" yelled Sonic. "I mean, Knuckles doesn't bother me much, but TAILS? That Egghead went way too far!" Sonic was waiting for a response from Amy. But he didn't get any. He was waiting and waiting in his mind while he kept running all around the carnival. From tent to tent, to room to room. It seemed like this circus had endless paths. Then, Sonic decided to look behind him and Amy had a robot on her head too.

"GAH!!" yelled Sonic. He quickly knocked Amy off of his back as Amy joined the chase with the other Mobians against Sonic. "How the heck did she get a robot on her head?"

Meanwhile from a ship flying above the carnival. There in the ship sat Scratch and Grounder.

"Ha ha ha ha!" yelled Scratch victoriously. "We managed to drop a robot on that pink-haired squirt!"

"But you missed Sonic," said Grounder. "The doctor is going to be very mad for not choosing me to drop the robots instead after he finds out you failed to catch Sonic!"

"Oh shut up!" said Scratch. "This is going to be a piece of cake!" Then, they slowly landed on the carnival. They both activated their parachutes. Scratch had a nice parachute and landed down slowly. While about him, Grounder had a parachute with a weight instead of a sheet. Grounder landed on Scratch and they both fell hard into the wooden carnival floor. Then shortly, they slowly got up, until the weight crushed them.

"Grr, you idiot!" yelled Scratch.

"Me?" asked Grounder. "You're the one who packed the parachutes!"

"I swear, I didn't do anything! It was you who messed with the parachutes!"

"Why would I do that? I got crushed!"

"You took the wrong one! That just proves how stupid you are!"

"Oh yeah! Well if I'm so stupid, how come Dr. Eggman left ME in charge of the remote controller that can deactivate these robots?"

"Because he didn't want you crying over getting no responsibilities! That's how big of a baby you are!"

Then all of a sudden, a blue hedgehog dressed in a carnival suit (you know, red and white stripes) with a mustache tapped the back of the two robots. Yes, you've guessed it. Sonic did have a plan after all.

"WHAT?!?!" shouted the two robots.

"Step right up!" yelled Sonic in his carnival man voice. It was a little more high pitched then his regular voice and it sounded much more exciting. "Don't crowd! Don't crowd! Don't miss this big opportunity to ride the Robotnik coaster!"

The coaster behind Sonic was indeed the Robotnik Coaster he was talking about. It had many loop-de-loops and it seemed like the fastest ride you ever saw! It looked like you could actually throw up up to fifty pounds on this ride.

"It is one of the fastest, most spontaneous, craziest, rides you'll ever ride!" yelled Sonic still in his carnival voice. "Plus, the great doctor Eggman had it built! So if you want to worship him, you better ride this ride!"

"Well, we should worship the doctor at all times obviously!" said Scratch sounding very upbeat.

"Yeah!" Grounder said nodding in agreement.

So the two get on the ride with Sonic putting on their seat belt in a split second. I actually should say seat beltS because it looked like Scratch and Grounder were tied up just so they couldn't jump out or something. Seems interesting enough.

"Hold on tight!" said Sonic. "We're going on the coolest ride ever!" Thus, Sonic started the ride by activating the switch. And the two robots began moving.

"Say, this ride looks...," Grounder began to say.

"Scary?" asked Scratch in a confident tone.

"No! It's just...uh, what's that word?"

"The best ride in the world because Dr. Eggman made it?"

"Um, yeah!"

So the two were going up a hill. But then, they quickly went down hill at over 500 Miles per Hour. They were screaming like nuts! Going through millions of loop-de-loops! Losing robot parts every second! This ride was that crazy. Sooner or later only their heads are left.

"WOW!" yelled Grounder in amazement. "That sure was something!"

"When that blue guy said craziest, he meant it!" said Scratch.

"Wait, what's that up ahead?"

"It's a sign. It says, do not cross."

"I wonder why?"

Then they went through the sign and fell. Apparently, the ride wasn't finished and they were falling straight into the lake. The robots screamed like crazy and had their heads staying so close their heads could explode. They were falling, and falling, and falling. Until they finally landed in the lake. Meanwhile, the controller fell out of the ride while they were falling. Because of the wind breeze, the controller flew straight into Sonic's hands.

"Got it!" said Sonic. "I knew the controller would fly straight into my hands. Now, how does this thing work?"

So while Sonic is figuring out the controller, Eggman makes a visit in his flying mobile around the carnival just supervising. Then, he sees Scratch and Grounder's legs sticking out of the lake. (They come back like in all the other countless episodes of Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog.) Eggman got very red in his face and used his mobile's claws to lift them up. Scratch and Grounder were coughing like crazy How long were they in that water anyway?

"What are you two idiots DOING?!?!?!" asked Eggman furiously. "You're supposed to try and get me control of that hedgehog!"

"Well, we were doing pretty good till we got distracted and went on the Eggman Coaster," said Grounder.

"FOOLS! I thought I told you that roller coaster isn't ready yet!"

"But the blue guy said it was!" argued Scratch.

"What blue guy?"

"Um, he was short, had spiky hair, and could go really fast," said Grounder.

"YOU IDIOTS! That was Sonic!!!!!!!!!! And where is the controller?"

Grounder and Scratch looked around themselves. All the pockets they could possibly have. But they ended up with results that wasn't going to make Eggman any more happy.

"Grr, where oh where could it be?!?!" asked Eggman. Then Eggman turned around and saw that Sonic had it and was trying to figure out the controls. "NOOOO!!!!!!! You diots! Sonic has it! Go get it!"

So the robots tried to go get the controller. But they couldn't walk on water so they drowned again.

"Ugg, I don't have time for this!" yelled Eggman. Eggman grabbed the two robots again and started flying his mobile to Sonic at a very fast pace. Sonic was pressing all kinds of button. Making the Mobians crying, mad, and even dancing.

"Ugg, how does this darn thing work?" asked Sonic furiously as he threw it to the ground and broke it. "Uh, I hope that's a good thing." All the robots started to go dead and fell off of all the Mobians' heads. So yeah, it did make things better. Everyone was out of Eggman's control and were all cheering. Especially Amy, who went and hugged Sonic right away.

"Oh thank you Sonic!" yelled Amy as she hugged him tightly.

"Uh...............no problem Amy. But stop hugging!" said Sonic. So Amy let go.

"This is not over yet Sonic!" yelled Eggman who had just arrived. "I still have one more trick up my sleeve! Go Scratch and Grounder! Get them!" But Scratch and Grouder just stayed there, looking beat up. It seemed they couldn't take the water and their power was out. "Grr, fine, you win this round Sonic. But I'll be back!" And thus, Eggman flew away in hopes he can get the hedgehog next time.

"Again and again and again," said Sonic. "But I've gotten used to it."

"You did it Sonic!" said Tails as he came over.

"Yeah, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad you were here," said Knuckles.

"Meh, it's no biggie guys," said Sonic. "Besides it was actually a little fun tricking those two robots. Like it is all the time."

"THAT'S why you're my hero!" Amy said as he hugged Sonic and kept kissing him on the cheek.

"UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG," whined Sonic in annoyance.

"Well, looks like things worked out after all," said Knuckles. "But that's the last time I leave Angel Island in awhile."

THE END

It was a long time till midnight, like 7 hours, but Mobius had already reached nightfall. Everyone was inside their houses using some kind of technology to pass the time. TV, computers, music, games, everything you could think of using Mobius' power generated at the Mobius Power Plant. No one was out on the streets. It seemed like the kind of day where you should stay inside. So basically, everyone did stay inside. Doing all kinds of things like I mentioned before.

Even Sonic and Tails were hanging out inside their house. Sonic was pretty upset he had to hang inside. He wanted to go out and keep running, but it just wasn't the day to do it really. Night came too quick. Sonic and Tails were in Tails' lab. It was quite a large place. There were gizmos and gadgets on every spot you could see. No where was there an open space. Sonic and Tails found it a little bit difficult to walk through the lab, but they managed to.

Tails had a brand new invention he wanted to show Sonic. He told Sonic about it the other day at the chili dog stand. He said not only was it one of the coolest things he ever made, but it was also able to be powered by a Chaos Emerald if you wanted it to do alot more cool stuff. Sonic thought, what the heck, he'll go check it out. So on the day he can't do anything they decided to check it out.

"Here it is Sonic!" said Tails excitingly.

"What is it Tails?" asked Sonic.

"It's a Energy Device. You see what it can do is take any source of energy and use that power to make you stronger. Electricity, wind, sun, anything! And of course, with Chaos Emeralds, you can gather some real power!"

"Wow, that sounds really cool Tails. Just make sure it doesn't get stolen. Heh heh."

"I thought about that Sonic. That's why I want you to take it."

"You seriously trust me with that."

"Of course! After all, you are Mobius' national hero!"

"Oh yeah, I'm getting that award tomorrow am I?"

"Yeah Sonic! I can't wait to see you up there accepting one of the greatest awards in history!"

All of a sudden, the power went out. Everywhere, the power started to shut down. All of Mobius' homes went black. Everyone couldn't see a single thing. They were walking into the wrong places everywhere. All the little kids came out of the houses screaming. Like the world was ending. Of course, they are little kids so you can't blame them for letting their imagination run wild, heh heh. Even Sonic and Tails' house went black too and they couldn't see a thing.

"You know Tails, you should really put some windows in here."

The two started to try to exit the house. First they had to exit the lab. But, there were just so many things that they started bumping and tripping all over the place. Making big crashes and destroying alot of things. Till they finally reached the exit and got out of the house.

"Well, it's going to take awhile to fix that mess," whined Tails.

"Hey, the whole town's power went out!" said Sonic.

"Why are those kids screaming?"

"They probably aren't used to this."

"But it is strange the power went out all of a sudden. The Mobius Power Plant is known for never failing at its job. This is quite unusual."

"You're right Tails. Want to check things out since we basically have nothing to do now?"

"Sure thing Sonic!"

"SONIC!" yelled Amy in a very scared tone. Amy came running to Sonic and hugged him real tightly. "W-w-w-what happened?!?!?!?!"

"Calm down Amy!" yelled Sonic. "The power just went out is all! Nothing dangerous! You can let me go now."

"But I don't want to." Amy kissed Sonic many times on the cheek then. "My hero is accepting the biggest award ever tomorrow!"

"Ugg. Tails?"

"Amy, kindly let go of Sonic please?" asked Tails.

"Ugg, fine!" Amy let go of Sonic but not looking very happy about it.

"So Sonic, want to start heading to the Power Plant?"

"Alrighty Tails!" said Sonic excitingly.

"Can I come?" asked Amy.

"No!" said Sonic.

"Well, I am anyway!"

So the three were heading to the Power Plant. Tails was flying, and Sonic and Amy were on foot. Sonic was way ahead of both of them. He obviously has ran tons before so he was very hard for Amy and Tails to catch up to. But they managed to follow him and reached the gigantic Power Plant. And it definitely was gigantic. Wow, the size of it was HUGE. It looked like a big glass ball. But inside that ball, was all the machines that are used to keep the Power Plant doing its job. Of course, it isn't doing its job now. But strangely, the Power Plant looked like it was working just fine on the outside. Sonic, Tails, and Amy went inside and everything was working well. It looked like nothing was wrong.

"How could all of this be working but no power is going to our homes?" asked Tails.

"Hey there Sonic," said a Power Plant worker as he walked up to them. "What brings you three to the Mobius Power Plant?"

"The power went out all over the town," said Sonic.

"Impossible. How could the power have went out? If you look around you, everything is working just fine."

"Well, our houses aren't getting any power."

"Well, you're obviously Sonic the Hedgehog so I'm going to trust you. But everything really is working fine here at the Power Plant."

"Sonic, this guy is right," said Tails. "I'm inspecting everything that could be possibly wrong with this Power Plant but I don't have anything. Everything is in tip top shape."

"Well, there has to be something," said Sonic.

"You know, it is actually possible for one location to take up all power of the Power Plant," said the worker. "But it hasn't actually happened.

"HEY!" yelled the boss of the Power Plant.

"GAH!" yelled the worker. "Uh, hey boss!"

"What are you doing taking a break? It's not time for it yet! Your five minute break is at midnight!"

"You mean when I leave?"

"Exactly."

"Ugg, sorry boss. Sonic and his friends stopped by and told me all power in Mobius is out."

"SONIC THE HEDGEHOG?!?!"

"Yep, that's me," said Sonic.

"Oh wow, it's such a pleasure to meet you! Unlike my workers, you don't take breaks. I wish all of my workers look up to you."

"Actually, Sonic has had a few vacations boss," said the worker.

"Oh be quiet! So now, onto your problem. It is indeed possible for one location to suck up so much power that all other houses go out. But the problem is it's never happened. So we don't know how to find out what building that is."

"Sonic, I think there is only one building that could take up so much power," said Tails.

"I think I know too," said Amy.

"Me too Tails," said Sonic. "Hey guys, we're going to take a trip to Eggman's base."

So it was settled. Sonic, Tails, and Amy have decided what their next move would be. They all had a good feeling what the cause of this power shortage is. Yep, they think it is none other then Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman was known for consuming huge amounts of electricity in the past, but this is the first time where he basically robbed all of Mobius' power. It must be something big. Something new. Something that Sonic hasn't seen before. But what was it though? That's what the three were going to find out.

They exited the power plant, waving back to the power plant workers who said goodbye. All of them had encouraging words. Tails and Amy seemed very thankful, but Sonic just had a smirk on his face. He was used to this kind of attention. After all, he would get the greatest award yet in Mobius history tomorrow. Too bad he probably will be quite tired tomorrow after taking care of Eggman.

The three started heading out of town and into the canyons. Beyond the canyons lay the mountains. The highest mountain over there was where Dr. Eggman's base sat on. It seemed like a long trip. But not so much for Sonic. As he grabbed Tails and Amy and started rushing through the canyons. The canyons looked very spooky at night. But Sonic and Tails didn't seem to be bothered by it. But Amy had a different story.

"Do we really have to go through here?" asked Amy in a frightful tone.

"Are you scared?" asked Sonic. "You can go home if you want!"

"Are you kidding? With you, I feel safe!"

"Ugg. Alright."

What the gang didn't know was that Dr. Eggman anticipated their coming. So Eggman had sent Scratch and Grounder out earlier to try to stop Sonic from reaching the base. Eggman's words were,

"Don't let that rodent reach within' 10 miles of my base or you'll be scrap metal!"

Lots of pressure to put on two of the worst crime fighters in Mobius history eh? Well, they basically had no choice. And were getting their first attempt ready. Scratch and Grounder were on top of the canyon. A little ahead of where Sonic and the gang were. Grounder was pushing a very big rock towards the edge of the canyon. If it were to drop, it would crush whatever it landed on. Scratch and Grounder hoped it would crush Sonic.

"Ugg, there we go!" said Grounder.

"Ha ha ha ha!" yelled Scratch. "Sonic is going straight to a hospital after we crush him with this rock!"

"But Sonic could zip right past it!"

"That's why I got the heaviest rock yet. So it'll fall down faster!"

"Oh, I get it! That hedgehog will be squashed like pancakes when he comes."

So then Sonic starts coming by and the two robots see him. They immediately start pushing the rock. They struggled quite a bit but they finally dropped it. That felt satisfied and wait to hear the crash. But they didn't hear anything. So they looked down and saw the rock bouncing back up and landing right on them. SQUASH!

"But how did..."

"OUCH!!!"

So, what exactly did Sonic do? Well, he actually saw the rock falling and made a trampoline which bounced the rock right back up. If he didn't make that, he, Tails, and Amy would've been toast.

"Wow, good call Sonic!" said Tails.

"Looks like we're not alone here after all," said Sonic. "Come on guys, time to have some fun!" And Sonic and Tails started to dash off.

"Fun?" questioned Amy. "I almost got killed!" She started following Sonic and Tails trying to catch up.

So Scratch and Grounder's first plan failed, with them getting quite the beating. But the two were confident they would get the hedgehog in their next trap. Down on the ground, Scratch and Grounder, mainly Grounder, dug a very big hole. And put spikes in it. Then they, again, mainly Grounder, painted a board that looked exactly like the canyon ground and put it right over the hole.

"When Sonic steps on this board, he'll land into a mosh pit of spikes!" yelled Grounder.

"Yeah, he'll be screaming in pain!" yelled Scratch. "And he'll never reach the base! Ha ha ha ha!"

So the two robots quickly hid away and Sonic, Tails, and Amy came speeding over. They were getting, closer, and closer, and closer. They were right in front of the spot! They zipped right past it without trouble. Scratch and Grounder were confused. They were wondering why the three didn't fall in. The two got out and started jumping up and down on the board. Till Sonic came back and removed the board, making them land in the spikes, screaming in pain.

"Next time, use something soft!" shouted Sonic as he dropped the board into the hole and kept running towards the base. The board landed on the two robots as well. Making them scream in even more pain.

"This is OW your OW fault OW!" yelled Scratch.

"You OW said OW a board OW!" yelled Grounder.

So plan 2, had failed for them. But did they have anything else? Yes, believe or not, they were going to try again. Sonic and the gang were getting dangerously close to the base. The two robots had to do something immediately to stop them. So Scratch dressed in a suit of a very attractive hedgehog female in a bikini.

"With this suit, Sonic will be too busy staring at this to go to the base!" shouted Scratch.

"Yeah, it's perfect!" said Grounder.

"He's coming! Hide!"

So Grounder went to hide and left Scratch standing in Sonic's path in the suit. Sonic was running pretty fast until he saw him. Sonic had hearts in his eyes and couldn't focus on anything but Scratch in that suit. The plan was working. One of their plans was actually working. That is, until Scratch forgot Amy was with Sonic. Amy got very red in her face. She hated any girl who could possibly take Sonic away from here. Amy took her piko hammer and started pounding Scratch like nuts.

"No one makes a move on him but me!" yelled Amy in fiery fury.

Scratch ran away as fast as he could screaming like crazy in pain. Sonic looked pretty sad but then Amy kissed him in the cheek. Changing his mood from sad to annoyed. Then Sonic remembered what he was there for. So Sonic, Tails, and Amy went on to the entrance of the base. The actual base was on top of that big mountain. The three started speeding up the mountain as fast as they could. And they got all the way to the top and saw that the base was using alot of power. Everywhere, something was being powered. They entered the base. They were ready to see what Eggman had in store for the three.
