 The second shot hit in front of them. Though no one got hurt or wet because of the actual explosion, it did push the force field back.

Christmas is back again

Jason barely could hold him self on-board, but his hands made to clam onto one of the available sidebars, at the same time he pushed his chest and feet together. This would prevent him from stumbling above the rail, yet he could suffer some bruises from taking the somewhat severe hit. Even if it never connected.
When he looked forwards, after retrieving back his balance. He could see something in the distance. Looked like land ahead.
"Hey, hey... There is land ahead of us." Exhausted and somewhat cold because he's clothes hadn't even dried from the storm.

Adrian could see em all within minimum distance. And what if those aliens would send out another cannonball.
Now with land in sight, their best chance would be racing towards the shores and head on land.
"Kat, ahead of us, about 60 degree's west, that's our location."

Instantly Taint dropped the cannonball in his hands.
"Is that an island?" He asked, pointing. His assassin nodded.
"Good, just checking. FULL SPEED AHEAD!"
Taint stared.
"Oh right, wind powered. In that case, just keep going. Stupid primitive technology..."

 "We're almost there," Huntress said.
"Thank goodness," Shion sighed with relief but kept the force field around them just in case.
The vessel gently rocked towards shore. When all of a sudden, Pygmalion returned riding on the same beast as before.
"Is that were you two were headed?" he asked them.
"Yes. Why do you ask?" Shion wondered with a lighthearted expression on her face.
"No reason," the echidna replied with a serious attitude, "I have something important to do. Take care while I'm gone."
