"Don't mention it," the echidna responded with a tranquil and gentle smile as he turned around and looked at the two. Sitting in a position on which he could look at them, the creature continued swimming towards Huntress and Shion's boat and stopped nearby. "Afternoon, ladies," he said. The two girls walked to the side of their vessel and looked at the echidna riding the beast. "Are you the infamous Pygmalion?" Shion questioned as a white chinchilla with angel wings descended beside her. "Why yes," he answered with a kind smirk. He then turned to the young vixen. Upon laying eyes on her, he was filled with so much glee. "Huntress!" he exclaimed, "Long time no see! How's my old trainee?" "Doing well, sir," she responded. "Glad to hear, glad to hear. That will be enough, Angelique." "As you wish," the supposed 'angel' answered then vanished into thin air. The power to create fantasies... Wow... Shion thought. "So you created these beats?" "Why yes, Ms..." "Shion Xachase." "Ah, Ms. Xachase, then. Well, if you would be as kind as to do me a favor." "We owe you, Pygmalion," Huntress said, "Just tell us." "These two could use a ride to land," he said, pointing at Jason and Lucario. The two girls eyed them and Shion's cheerfulness vanished. "I think those two are supposed to be competition..." Shion whispered. "True... But we can't let riches come before the lives of people in need, can we?" the fox asked. With a heavy sigh, Shion nodded. "Very well. Hop on," she said. |

[ I just wanna let you now, I'm having some health issues, I won't be on the internet as much. If you are wondering what kind, I have an infection in my lungs, I'm going for a chest X-ray tomorrow. And I'm getting blood work done because of some thing going on with my hands. So yea, long story short, I'm not breathing right] Kat looked at the floating balls, not sure what they where, she got onto the board and sat on it on her knees, she bent down and made the board give enough power to move just above the water, she kept a close eye on the floating balls as she head' towards where their where no clouds ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario didn't know what just happened, a second ago he was swimming for his life, and now he's on the back of a water creature. He saw the echidna who was guiding the creature, Jason said thank you, but Lucario kept quiet, he watched the water. When the echidna stopped at the boat Lucario looked at the two girls. They where competitors. The echidna then asked if we could be handed over to them. Can we trust them? Lucario looked at Jason" We don't really know them, should we trust them?" he asked. |

//Get well soon Kristen.\\ Adrian who've found a better seat behind, decided to create a counter move. But it seized to an exit soon there after. Since he couldn't balance at the same time, when Kat speeded off towards the now slowly scattering clouds above. --- Jason who had no complaint coming aboard a safe heaven. Quite frankly, he made all effort turn their doubts in an instance to something more valuable. "Don't worry, we'd happy to assist even if we've somewhat lost this race already." Whatever that meant, Jason was a tricky fellow. But alas, he usually knew what he's doing. Looking behind finally, as if checking whether Luc had arrived as well, so each one could continue towards this island. After all, the badass machine aliens come ever closer. |

[ I will^^ mom won't let anything happen to me. Oh, and skipping Kat and Adrian till Devlin replies] Lucario saw Jason jump onto the boat, it was safe, and would get them to the island, he jumped over and staid near the edge of the boat, He looked at the water creature yet again, but said nothing to the Echidna, or the two girls. It was almost as if he was acting shy, though he's not a shy person. He looked around the boat the girls had, not to nifty, but not a piece of junk either. Lucario closed his eyes and saw the aura around him, he kept a really close eye on the two robots. Lucario didn't want to go through what he just went through again. |

"Want to come along?" Shion offered Pygmalion. He smiled but shook his head. "Busy now, kid. But don't worry: if you need me, I'll be there as soon as possible. Take care, Huntress." "Bye, sir," the vixen replied with a rather smile. "Again, explain to me. You know him how?" "He basically raised me. And he was my trainer," Huntress said to her partner as she turned to the other two. "I see," the human replied, "Anyway, we better get going." |

"Now, what could we do..." He thought aloud. "What could we possibly do...Oh, if only we'd brought Calamity along. He'd love this." === MEANWHILE, IN ANOTHER DIMENSION A small orb shaped robot was playing Poker with some other robots. He looked up from the cards, blinked, and said, "I am REALLY glad I didn't go through that portal with them, y'know?" === BACK IN THIS DIMENSION "Well, there's only one thing left to do." Unable to look backwards, Adrian trusted Kat could distance them before whatever trickery they may unfold, to take em down into the sink. No undoubtedly their real concern wasn't to come first, but to get rid of all competitions and then have a nice journey back and forth. The weather calmed down, and rain didn't came from above, as clouds slowly now scattered into the the azure blanket above, dusting off the last particles in it's vicinity. "I wonder how far it is, to this island, I feel we've been out at sea already long enough." In fact he was tired, sitting for hour after another isn't that comfortable, and when at certain times, he'd have to fight for his life to get back on, even with some assistance. Well, it makes the whole journey a menace. --- "Just give an order and I make the best efforts bringing us to that island." Jason prepared and not afraid to ask for his next assignment. And the storm wouldn't be that much of a problem ahead. Now it was to take it across the sea, and hopefully arrive at the island before nightfall. While waiting for a possible answer, he looked towards Luc, as whether he hadn't found him self comfortable with their new so called team mates. Also he nodded with his head backwards as to seek out some alternative work for Lucario as well. His intentions wasn't true, and in fact, he'd better off alone. But he had to act kind hearted till he could strike em with surprise. As he had no intention to share the worth waiting for em back home. |

Kat shrugged" Not sure, but we better get away from the boat of scrap metal, and fast, looks like they've got another trick up their sleeve" Kat told him, The storm was dying off, witch means that she can go faster, now that she doesn't have to dodge lightning and waves. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luc opened his eyes and looked at the deck, he heard Jason say that he would do what was needed to get to the boat" I too, will do what it takes in order to get to the island" He said, keeping his eyes fixed to the deck, he just didn't trust the two, and he wasn't sure why. |

A loud boom occurred shortly there after. Whether it was directed towards them, was hard to tell, since the ride made him more then busy, holding on to the constant accelerating board. --- The cannon had obvious been shot towards the others ahead of both machines. It didn't connect, but smashed into the water close by. Making a loud splash, sending off water in all directions. Jason wasn't fortunate in it's own direct hit, as it knocked him all wet. "Damn it. We're being fired at? Anyone know how we can counter those maniacs?" Jason tried to dry off most of his shirt, while looking backwards, whether Jacques and Taint would continue this unsporting will of charades. |

Jacques, having better hearing than a flesh-being, overheard that. Twisting a knob on the back of his neck, his voice amplified like that of someone yelling through a loudspeaker. "YOU COULD JUST GIVE UP AND DIE, YOU KNOW!" He called, laughing. |

Kat nodded" That's what I'm working on, but in order to get closer to the island, we have to get past them" She knelt down, making it hopefully harder for them to spot her and Adrian. She suddenly heard what sounded like an explosion, not to far away either. She looked around for where this explosion was. Her ear stinged from the air rushing past it, she ignored it though. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario was now sitting on the boat with his back against the side, he heard an explosion and just after was soaked. He blinked a few times for getting up and turning around to see what caused it. Was it those robots? He heard Jason ask if their was any way we could get rid of them, he looked at them" I could through what most people call an explosive bone at them" he suggested. |

"Huntress," Shion called as she walked to the vessel's front while Huntress took the steering wheel. She raised her arms and her hands glowed with a purple aura as a force field covered the vessel. It would only hold for about three more blasts but the opposite team didn't need to know that. "Hurry." "Will do," the vixen replied as they picked up speed. |

Well what else could Adrian make out of his situation. Rather limited alternatives he'd better hold on, while a strong wish that this water race would hold him forever. It sounded like someone were screaming from behind, but all the words came out blurry, and the wolf shrugged em off, while concentrating on the bumpy waters. --- Jason didn't care when seeing that Huntress accelerated and hopefully the machines could have fun, shouting all kind of threats, but there wouldn't be anyone there to listen. Looking at Luc for a second for no reason. Was it the moment to stare, but he shifted attention towards Jaq, and Taint who obvious where out to make a hell out of the others mostly fair racing. "This is awfully demeaning wouldn't you agree?" If the distance was correct, the island should be visible within the hour if nothing else causes them to slow down. What waited for them ahead, wasn't friendly, and the whole habitat was freezing cold. Jason knowing little about it's origin and what possible could they bring back, without having it melt down. "Hmm... Well now when I come to think about it.... We have to find something different then ordinary ice. That didn't make much sense at all. They must know something we don't." Clearly he tried to discuss with em all on the boat. As if he wasn't holding information to him and Luc. But now as a team, he better let his mind out. Edited by DragonFlame, Sep 3 2009, 10:51 AM.
