Kat saw the explosion. she blinked twice" I knew something put something on that boat" she said, staring at the smoke and sinking ship. Kat looked at the ground,thinking of something they could use to crass the sea. Her eyes then widened with excitment" I got an idea! Though i'm not sure if I remeber where Lucario put it ..." thinking about it for a second, she dashed off into the forest. She stopped suddenly. Tons of bushes where at the bottom of many tree's. She bit her bottom lip as she looked at them. She then started looking through one big bush" got it!" she pulled out a pink and white air board, she smiled and showed it to Adrian" you heard of extreme gear?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario didn't know a big wave was coming due to his attention being derected at the docks. when the wave hit he rolled and hit the back of the boat, he lied on his back, legs hanging out of the boat, he sat their for a few seconds, wondering what just happened. He heard Jason ask if he was still their, he rubbed his head" Yea, but I think my minds else where" He rolled onto his stomach and pushed himself onto his knees. he saw a blood paw print on th floor of the boat. He looked at his hand, he must have got a scratch on his head as blood was on his hand. sighing, he put his hand on the wound" I cut my head. It'll be fine though" He held onto the boat so that he wouldn't go flying off if another big wave hit. |

Adrian watched the scene, while Kat hurried towards the forest, with the black wolf behind her. "Na Ah! I haven't, and I wouldn't trust em in what weather lies ahead of us." Yet, he didn't mind looking at them for a second before deciding if he'd be crazy enough to make use of them. "It will do however." After a short second with consideration. Now to learn how to control it, and use it to find this island out there in middle of ocean. --- In fact their direct course had been struck, unable to shift towards their destination, Jason continued to drive south-east, while waves continued to smash on their right. It was hell of a difficult condition when each move, could mean to fall of deck. "Make sure to keep a low ground Luc, I can't save you, if you decided to jump into the water. Now the waves didn't seem to be their only ahead concern. Unless counting the followers, thunder and flashing could mean their meeting with a massive storm ahead. "We should have waited.... Damn it." Jason cursed while he started to steer backwards. A false move, but it was his only hope. --- Hotel Castro This is were all millionaires is watching the action from above. Bets have been set and now their watching with their nails grinding their teeth and nervous like hell for almost everyone had actually voted for Jason and Luc, because of their fast departure. The storm have changed things however and now almost each one inside was hacking teeth with nervousness. |

Kat looked at the board, she was making sure that it was fixed, she forgot if she fixed it" We can always wait y'know. I have a feeling Lucario and he's partner are gonna be in a bit of trouble because of the boat they piced out" her ears went down slightly, what if Lucario gets killed? He is afraid of water. Shaking the thought from her mind, she looked up at Adrian" The only problem with this idea is that their's only one board" She held the board in an upright position and began figiting with something with her free hand" So well have to figure out a way that I can controle it smoothly, but without you falling off" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario looked at the floor of the boat, he then looked at his paw the was holding onto the boat for dear life. What if he threw an Aura Spere at the waves, would the makethe wave bigger or smaller? Lucario got up and looked at a wave that was heading towards them. He created an Aura Spere in his right paw and threw it at the wave. The sphere exploded at contact and the wave fell into nothingness, revealing another wave that would hit them in maybe 10 seconds. Lucario smiled. " Jason, head stright towards the island, I can destroy the waves using Aura Spheres" Lucario called towards Jason. |

"You said what? One board out there in the middle of Pacific. I rather leave the race, because we'll be sitting ducks out there, with the evil machines and of course the others." Sceptic about the whole race, he started to loose morale to make it out there at all. Yet there have to be another way across. He sat down, and looking out on the waters ahead. He literally sink into a lack of will mood. He didn't care, and decided to look on the weather who continued to brew into a menacing storm. --- "You what?" While he listened, after all the last wave didn't hit. But that wasn't all, the lightning could hit once, and all the distance made would be for nothing. However he didn't care, he would face the storm even if it could mean his own death. And so, the boat had shifted course towards their targeted location now with a bit more winner instinct. |

Kat looked at the tree" We can just give up" She said" Y'know way Lucario and I joined the race? Because Lucario doesn't want to see a small 14 year old girl living in the forest and missing what it's really like to be a teenager. This race means allot to me! And in some way, it probably means allot to you as well" Kat put the board down and sat on Adrians lap, he looked at him" Please Adrian, this is most likely the other way across, there's no more boats left" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario was ready to hit every and all big waves that hit the boat, but he'd most likely will be wiped out when they get to the island. When the boat was fully shifted and heading straight for the island Lucario threw Aura sphere and all the waves that good tip the boat over, he left the smaller ones to continue their corse and hit a shore one day. |

(Is it just me, or is something stretching the page?) Jacques had just finished putting the finishing touches on his new ship; a pirate flag, one with a skull and bones. Y'know, just for laughs. He had repainted it so the skull and bones looked mechanical. "Alright, time to get going." He said. He hoisted the anchor with surprising ease, while Taint operated the steering wheel. Slowly the boat made its way to sea. |

What made em not in same team, continued to question him, while he pondered what to say. "Fine." While he pushed him self back on his feet. Looking ahead at the clouds that come ever closer to the shores. He knew it would become windy ahead, nevertheless more delay could send em out of any chance of victory. "Now, how are we even able to fit both on this board?" Questioned as still he hadn't understand how in earth, would they reach Air Castle on one air-board without clumsy being thrown in the waters. Ether that, or their rivals would make a living hell for them. And even thinking what those machines are capable of, just to receive the gold. --- Jason's smile turned into a foul one. He thought this race were in his hands already. Now with Lucarion removing all of greater waves, he could eventually on that island, trick him and then race back without his team mate. And all gold will be his own. That would have to wait however, still he'd have more use of his abilities. And he didn't reached a sound about his devious plan. The storm continued to surround em, and all visible presence were faded in rain coming from above. |

"The water's getting rough..." Huntress muttered under her breath. "I can see that," Shion said as she tried to concentrate. Just then, they hear an odd yet familiar cry. Huntress ran to the side of the boat and saw the same creature from before swimming alongside them. "It's back!" she alerted her friend, "But why?" Shion looked ahead. "Huntress, what do you see?" The vixen turned forward and was left in awe. With her powers, she could clearly see wild raging waters and a stormy cloud approaching. Not only that, ut she could already see a boat or two in the lead having trouble. "A big mess..." she said speechless. Shion held the steering tightly while trying to come up with a plan without having to stop, slow down or turn around. She then hears the cry again and looks to her side. "Where is it going?" she asks Huntress. The fox turns to back to the side and sees the creature trying to swim through a different route. Huntress focused her sight on that direction and saw a safe way. Probably longer but with much calmer waters and peaceful climate. "Another way!" she yelled back, "It's longer, but safer." "Then that's where we're going," the human replied as she quickly turned the vessel and followed the creature. |

And DF, I can't think of anything for Lucario and Jason's side, so I'm gonna skip it again)) Kat jumped out of Adrians lap with a huge smile" Thank you, Thank you!!" Kat gave him a quick peck on the cheek. She then looked at the board" You could sit on the end of the board, and use my back leg only if you feel like your gonna fall off " She said" But then I might fall off ..." Her ears went down, she looked at the tree, a smile came to her face. " Do you like to surf?" |

As he watched the harbor slowly begin to fade from view, Jacques looked back at Taint. "I'm sort of worried about one thing." He said. "Neither of us are Repair Drones, and we have no knowledge of how to fix a broken ship. If this thing breaks, we could have a problem. Did you bring anything that could be of use in that matter?" Taint shook his head. "Sir, you usually carry the equipment. Maybe you should check the bag." He pointed over at what looked like a metal briefcase. "Oh, right." He picked it up and rummaged through it, pluckingout random items. "Duct tape." He said, pulling out a roll and throwing it aside. He pulled out some superglue. A blowtorch. A hammer. Some nails. "Why does this briefcase contain repair objects? I didn't pack them." Jacques asked. "We got it from the store we robbed." "Oh." Jacques said. He suddenly pulled out a skull from the bag, and grinned. Taint sighed. "You...brought the skull, I see..." "Well of course I did, Taint." Said Jacques. "I could never leave poor little Thomas all by himself." He pointed at the skull. Taint muttered something. Finally Jacques confirmed they had everything they needed, except knowledge of how to actually DO any repairs. "I suppose we'll get to that when the problem arises." he said. (This was posted more or less just to mention the fact that Jacques has a 'pet' human skull named Thomas.  )

With a nod and smile in return, or at least what a wolf could make out of stretching out their mouth. Enough time wasted already on shore, he looked ahead in the water. It shouldn't be any different from where. "Come on then, we'd better head off, or our rivals have distances us for good." Adrian walked with Kat towards the water, and about to make him self as comfortable behind as possible. Such an awkward position he'd be in, however why should he care, as long she can control the board. --- Actually the storm wasn't all to difficult to handle with Lucario's assistance. And even the clouds ahead, started to diminish, as if the storm were at it's peak. The rest should be like serving pancakes. Not the easiest, but it should be more convenient and his friend would have a chance to rest. And after not having a chance to even look at the map, located in his jacket. He wouldn't know their current destination. Yet, that's when all havoc break loose. A struck of lightning, only inches away, caused an electrical boom at the back on the engine. The boat stopped in the middle of storm. "Damn it" Was all Jason could come up with. |

Kat fiddled around some more with the board, letting to much air out would make them go faster, but Adrian would for sure fall off, and not letting out enough would probably cause them to stall. Once they got to the shore she jumped on and hovered in front of Adrian" You coming or not?" she asked. To her, the biggest problem would be getting him on, it's hard enough to make it hover smoothly, someone getting comfortable while trying to keep it smoothly hovering would be a big challenge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The sudden strike freaked Lucario out, he actually jumped a foot away, he looked at the water as they came to a stop" Crap ..." Lucario muttered. He put his paw over his left eye, then looked at Jason" Now what?" He asked. If they can't find a way to get the boat to move, they could get hit by lightening, cause their the highest things in the sea at the moment. Lucario went over to the engine, it was smoking. Lucario looked at the water and thought for a moment" Doesn't fire ignite gas?" Lucario asked |

Adrian was in fact, already clear to leave. "I would almost ask the same miss." Well the best alternative were to take it out in the waters, before he could find a comfortable seat. Of course he wouldn't know if it actually lifted from down-under. Yet, questions had to wait, it's about time they leave the shores. --- "Um. What's wrong?" Jason asked, while he left the steering wheel. Looking on the water. Yet, even if their concern had become different, the waves hadn't seized to exist. One of the more severe ones, came and it wouldn't end very well. The whole boat would turnaround, and Jason could only react with a scream, before thrown off board. |

Kat made a sharp left turn towards the water, she went a slow pace, at first. She slowly speed up, like a motor boat would. She looked back at Adrian" You ok?" she asked while they where still over relativily shallow waters. She knew the ride ahead was going to be rough, but this was really the only way, except swimming. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lucario saw the wave coming, his attention though turned back to the engine" The engine's on fire, the only way I can tell is by the smell of the smoke, and there's gas in the engine" Lucario told Jason. Lucario threw an Aura Sphere at the big wave coming, it did nothing. His ears went slightly down" And where in for on hell of a ride ..." |

Not the most convenient ride, at least not worth a penny. The water wasn't all that bad, but he knew ahead would lead him with a mouthful of water, thrown at him. And that includes to hold on as much he can. Even that were limited. Almost considering if this would actually be worth it, he shudders off the bad feeling, before answering Kat. "I... I`m just fine." While he looked ahead towards the storm approaching as further the shore was left behind. --- Jason could hear some noise from the boat, while it was all blurred, before his head, clashed with the surface. The boat was a ticking time-bomb. After all, Luc had already sensed it. His concious returned fast enough for him to make a swift move under water. However the steam left him rather defenceless. And when he actually made it to the surface. The distance to the boat and him, were critical, in that terms, the wind sent him off. And with lightning still in air, his life were in grave danger. However his concern actually lied on his partner. Nowhere to be seen, as the water continued to pounce in his face, while he struggled to hold his nose above surface. "Help." Even if half of the message sounded like rubbish. |
