So they wouldn't have even been Amy fans. Plus eggman capturing amy has been sonic's incentive in past games, so they would have had replace her. When sonic kicks eggman's ass, there has to be someone there for him to rescue. Exactly of the such ^^ They would have to make another, anoying, pink hedgehog, fan girl

Member #4,434 Joined: December 19, 2007	I'm not sure how many of you realize this, but I think if it weren't for Amy, Shadow would've never remembered that Maria actually wanted him to protect the people of Earth and not get revenge on them. If not for her, the Earth would've been destroyed by the ARK, considering the fact that Amy was the one who refreshed his memory when she reminded him of Maria!

And as for Kitsune-Otaku and ShadowAndroid, who appear to have made the exact saem comment, I agree whole heartedly; up until that point, Shadow was a genocidal asshat (and to some extent, he kinda still is). Only the shining logic and threat of bodily harm presented by Amy convinced him to change his ways (if only for the rest of the game). CONVERSION AT WORK.

Yeah, he's like a less traditional hero, kind of like Spawn or maybe Rorschach from Watchmen, he's not necessarily as widely recognized as one, but he's a hero in his own way!
