"I didn't use the whole thing ...." Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	Basically this is a piece of fan fiction i wanted to write for a while now but never had the urge to start it, it follows the story of Sonic and the Black Knights but from the perpective of the 3 knights (Lancelot, Gawain and of course Percival). This is the Prelog witch is basically the start of the SatBK story plus some further discussion between Percival and Gawain. The Black Knight rode his steed infront of his three champions, as soon as he approched the three knights bowed there heads. After witnessing the event that has taken place just moments ago below them, the three knights await there kings orders. "I shall give chase." The kings voice was demanding yet seem to be void of any real emotion. "Spread out and go after them. Slay them on sight." He had barely finished his orders before he rode off into the distance. Percival was the first to rise, followed shortly by Lancelot, Gawain remained on his knees. "Let's go" Percival said glancing a look at Gawain. "Must we?" Gawain begain, he now had the attention of both of the knights. "She is the Royal Wizard after all." But before Gawain could complete his sentence he was interupted by Lancelot. "The King's orders are absolute, Gawain." The tone of his voice made it clear to everyone that Lancelot was annoyed at Gawains comment. "I know, but..." Gawain tryed to defend his remarks but was immediantly cut off by Percival. "Without loyalty to the king we are nothing." Percivals voice was not as harsh as Lancelots but her words were just as strong. Lancelot turned from the group and walked away, Gawain shortly followed while Percival looked over the field below them. "Still, the King..." She quitely muttered to herself. "He has changed, and this kingdom..." As soon as she finish that sentence a group of ravens passed overhead, She had a feeling then that dark time were ahead. She quickly pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind as she turn to join her fellow knights. Lancelot was the first to speak concerning a course of action. "I shall travel to the lake" he said, his head did not face the other two knights, he mearly looked out over the horizion. "What could be so urgent at the lake..." Gawain started before a cold stare from Lancelot made him think that the qestion was not a clever one. "Do not qestion my reasoning Gawain" Lancelot snapped before rushing off into the distants. "Lancelot..." Gawain called for his comrade but it was too late, Percival put her hand on Gawains shoulder. "Do you forget that Lancelot is the closeset to the king than any of us" Percival looked at the spirling dust trail Lancelot left behind him. "If he thinks there is reason to go to the lake then there must be." Gawain turn from the direction that Lancelot rushed off into, his attention turned to the purple feline by his side. "What is your plan Sir Percival, what do you intend to do to find are quarry?" Gawain was obviously searching for options himself but Percival gave him a sly smile. "I shall return to Camalot, if this errant knight is indeed looking to confront are king he may well head in that direction." Percival instantly notice Gawain jumping on her idea. "Right, I shall visit the outer settlements and see if there have been any sighting of this knight." Gawain hesistatd slightly before speaking up again. "But this knave does not even know how to use a sword, are we suppose to slay an unarmed oppoenent?" "Your so naive Gawain." Percival looked back at the red echinda, she had already started walking away when she caught Gawain's last comment. "If this knight is working with Merlina there is a great chance that she has taught him some swordsmanship, but either way we must carry out the orders of are king." Don't tell me what I can or can't do! Posts: 4,317 Group: Former Monarchs Member #13 Joined: April 13, 2006	Your first piece of fan-fiction eh? You know, it isn't that bad. I think you could try having the characters have more thoughts you know. Because since this is coming from a perspective from the three knights, it means you should really reveal all the thoughts you think they would have and I don't think you did enough of that in this chapter. It seems like you are just summarizing the first scene of the game in a quick piece of writing. Now, I'm not expert at this kind of stuff so do be sure to read comments from the others. You should continue though because I think if you do what I said, this could be a good story. But nice job for your first time.

Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	thanks for the comment. the reason why there are no thoughts at this stage is because the 3 knights are together and they are openly discussing there plans, once they all go there seperate ways i will add more thoughts into the story. As for the lenght this was only a tester to get ideas, so its not really an offical chapter yet. The hardest part is keeping everyone in character, its a fine line between the characters they are in the story and there other alterego, for example you may have notice Percival teling Gawain that hes 'So naive' witch is one of the lines Blaze is infamous for in Sonic 06.

Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	This is the first part of chapter 1, focusing on Lancelot as he perpares for the arrivial of the errant knight, while he waits he is confronted by some knights of the underworld and a mystrious new foe. Meanwhile Lancelot was rushing to his own goal, he knew the area around the lake like it was his own garden, he had vetured this path many times in the past and got to know its every detour and shortcut. "If this errant knight thinks he can outsmart me he could not be more mistaken."Lancelot dashed down the forest paths, the lake getting closer by the second. "I know percisely where Merlina and her accomplice will head to first, they will seek out the lady of the lake to find a weaken in my king." While Lamcelot was sorting out a course of action his pace did not lessen in the slightest. "I cannot allow that to happen, if that fake knight chooses that route I will make sure he lives to regret it." Lancelot cut his way into an opening and suddenly grinded to a halt. "The lake is not far from here and it does not appear that he has reach this location yet, I shall bide my time here until the moment is right." Just then Lancelot heard some rushling in the bushes, it sounded too large to be any forest creature he was aware of so he decided to investigate. He headed of to the bushes and carefully he parted them with his sword, what he found standing there surpised even him. Stood infront of him was a Knight in strange armour, dark gases seeped from wherever it could find an exit and it held a large rune blade in its hand. Lancelot knew this creature, it was one of the knights that the king now has in his service, but what was it doing spying on Lancelot? "You hide in the undergrowth watching my every move." Lancelot snapped at the knight who seem to show little sign of aknowlagement. "What are your intentions knight, do you act on order of the king?" Lancelot demanded answears but still the knight stood there, hardly moving at all. "Do you think this is a game, I am Lancelot, Knight of the Round Table and i will have your-" But before Lancelot could finish his sentence the knight quickly turned and fled. "How dare he flee from a challenge, Does this knight have no honor." Giving chase after the knight may not have been a smart move, The errant knight could arrive at any moment and the chance to confront him would be lost, but lancelot knew there was something strange here and he needed to find out what. His flaring boot burned brightly as he mustered all his speed to catch the knight, further and further into the undergrowth they ran until they came across an opening, it was here that the knight stopped and once again faced Lancelot. "You dare flee from me." Lancelot had only just stepped into the clearing when two more knights seemingly appeared out of nowhere, all three then advanced on Lancelot, there weapons raised. "Ha, you fools think your a match for me" Lancelot laugh at there attempt to intimidated him. "Well, i'm in a hurry so I will have to make this quick" A light blue aura surrounded Lancelot as he focused his attack. "CHAOS.....EXECUTION" Lancelot cried as he vanished for a split second, shortly reappearing infront of one knight, then the other and then the other,before finally appearing behind the pack, moments later the 3 knights dissappeared in a swirl of black smoke. "You brought that on yourselves for challenging me" Lancelot threw the comment where the knights once stood. "Ha ha, I see the legendary skill of Sir Lancelot are not mearly speculation" The wispy voice came from behind Lancelot who turned to face the new intruder. Another knight stood before him, this one was similar to the others but it stood taller and its armour had a shimmering effect like it was not really there, his blade, while not a sacred sword by any means, let out a strange aura all of its own. "And who might you be." Lancelot looked up at the knight, directly in its glowing red eyes. "My mortal name has long since expired, but you can call me Command-One." The knight gave no intention that it was going to attack but Lancelot kept his guard just incase. "There is no need for such actions." The knight glared at Lancelot. "I was mearly testing you for our king, he wanted to make sure you were ready to face the Knight of the other world." "Well Sir Command-one." Lancelot did not think the king would need to test him like this. "As you can see i have passed your little test so I will take my leave of you." Lancelot snarled at the knight. "Yes, you must prepare, he will be arriving shortly" With that last comment Command-one seem to phase out of exsistance. Lancelot had little time to think about the events that have just unfolded, he needed to get back on track, if what Command-one said was to be beleaved then the errant knight was face apporching and Lancelot needed to be ready.
