Just throwin' that out there. -------------------- Results for fourteenth Bar'd Poll (New Poll now up): Which of the random (well, not technically random, they've all been mentioned at least once by different fans of the series) following pairings do you support the most (NoIamnotputtingtheobviousoneonhere)? 1st Place: Vas x Shelia 29 votes (24%) Well, this surprised me. This surprised me quite significantly actually. I mean... I can imagine support for it (although, at the same time, I realise there are a fair few people against it) but I didn't expect many people to actually vote for it. People in these things tend to go for the non-obvious choices, the ones which are least canon... So I'm honestly surprised about the support for this. 2nd Place: Leo x Caek 27 votes (23%) And yet again, majorly surprised. This time, for the opposite reason that... well, I don't think when the poll went up the characters had directly interacted at all. As such, it came as a shock that there'd be such support for this pairing. Just a shame really, with the recent revelation of Caek already having a boyfriend, that this ship had to be sunk. 3rd Place: Shelia x Ze 16 votes (13%) This one didn't surprise me so much. Ze has sort of been the unfortunate underdog of things up to this point... though he certainly proved himself somewhat deserving of Shelia in comic 200. Punching rich people in the face is always the way towards a healthy relationship. 4th Place: Leo x Boa 12 votes (10%) I'm going to be one-hundred-percent honest with you guys. I totally voted for this. It was actually leading for a while, but apparently was overtaken by some of the more serious suggestions on here. Still... it seems to be making it's way into the comic anyway, whether or not it's actually going for realz. 5th Place: Vas x Caek 10 votes (8%) Hanging around the middle area is this relationship, which doesn't seem too far out there. Still, their current romantic experiences together involved what was basically just some really creepy lines fed through Caek during 'Choose Your Own Bar'd'. Not quite a candle-lit dinner. 6th Place: Vas x Chris 9 votes (8%) I'll be honest, was kind of expecting a few more votes for this one. Not due to any form of logic or reason surrounding the relationship - simply because, when Chris was first introduced, there seemed to be a surprising amount of support for this. Seems like interest has dwindled. 7th Place: Leo x Chris 7 votes (6%) Low votes, not big surprise. The two have barely interacted to my knowledge, and logic surrounding the relationship seems to be entirely missing. Still... Transgender Ghost x Human Male seems to be a good enough concept for 7 people. 8th Place Shelia x Dejero 5 votes (4%) Was really unsure about how this would be positioned when it was put up. I assumed it would be either REEEAAALLY high or REEEAAALLY low. Looks like the latter. For all Dejero's apparent care for Shelia, the idea of them in a relationship seems beyond most people. 9th Place Shelia x Maximillion 4 votes (3%) Well, this is unsurprisingly low. Though despite the fact that this is supposed to be the actively negative example of who should be together, 4 people at least voted for it. Still, 4 people still lands it, thankfully, at the bottom of the pile. |

Gonna be fun times ahead trying to very Safor's expression... oh well, I'll try my best to get him looking at least vaguely expressive. Also, as for the question answer today... really not happy with that honestly. I knew what I was trying to say, but couldn't phrase it very well, so wound up with that garbled stuff. I also had to cut a few bits of information out due to the space, which didn't help either... Oh well, hopefully there's enough there to get some people thinking a bit. |

I think I vastly understimated this time, because I probably could've fitted a large number of extra currencies in those speech bubbles and still got away with it... oh well. It may be questionable as to why the bar would accept this many different currencies. Well, when you consider the customer base, you have to think they really need to. Customers include characters from various countries as well as various planets - you're gonna have to be quite flexible with your cash if you want any customers at all. Luckily the Leafy Bar knows this. So now all your cash may belong to them. |

The important stuffs, of course, for anyone keeping up, is the Smackjeeves Awards. For those of you unaware (no idea who that would be, but still) the SJ Awards are basically this sites equivalent of the Grammy's, only, better, considering they're not actually Grammy's. Bar'd is one of the six comics nominated for 'Best Sprite Comic', so far a start, I'd like to say a HUGE thanks to the people who nominated me into the current voting stage. Of course, still a way to go for any hopes of a Golden Butler. Now, I'm not really gonna say 'Please vote for Bar'd' here, 'cause I realise a lot of you probably read the other five comics, and probably prefer them. Instead, I'd just like to encourage you to vote generally, and if you choose to vote Bar'd over the other five, then that would be a great honour. If not? Well, that just makes it a more interesting competition, right? So yes people, please go and vote in the Smackjeeves Awards for your favourite comic.
