Ugh gawd, school is getting in the way of these things. Kinda hard to draw when you're being forced to rig a biped character, but blah. Sorry for the lateness, but that only means you get two updates in a row. The next one will be after I wake up and get myself settled. Yae, new (slightly) theme of the week. This is a project I've thought about doing for awhile. Unleashed post cards. It only makes sense. These things will probably get more finished come Spring Break.  One for Mazuri and daytime. I'm thinking of changing the composition and getting the tree house in there somewhere.  This one, I'm not changing. I'm quite fond of it, although Chun-Nan's kind of an easy country. xP  For the uninitiated or unknowing, there's an purchasable item in Shamar called Elastic Ice Cream. Sonic was brave enough to try it.  I like how these got more and more unfinished, but that's school for you. The Werehog and Chip are hopping on boxes which will soon be Spagonia.  Not all of the women Claude meets are particularly fond of him. Hopefully Lord Shen will appreciate this. xP  The fan character you never knew I had. This guy is Vice. He's a tokay gecko, completely revamped into an Ari Gold-style businessman*. I may give him a bio one day. *= lots o' vulgar language. |

Really diggin the post cards, especially Chun Nan, the dragon is gunna look awesome with the moonlight helping it pop out I'd imagine! Also, poor Claudio. XDDD |

*sneaks in* I haven't broken my promise! D< I've just... not liked my scanner. Seriously. Yep, personal work's taken a backseat to school. That's what happens. But hey, here's a Werehog animation for you. I think it might go in my sig after some more clean up, but I'm starting to think it's too distracting tho': Done completely in Photoshop which held out on me long enough to finish. |

=P Heh, I'll take that as a compliment. But nope, it's all Photoshop. I roughed out some frames on different layers, kept checking the motion in the timeline and tweaking, and once I was satisfied with that, I just outlined and colored it. |

Bliz does 3D art too. A small little update in-between my next Photoshop animation. I'm in 3D production this quarter, which means we take an idea and develop it from concept to creation like an actual studio would with a feature film. Here's my fox-weasel, or a feasel or wox as has been dubbed by my schoolmates:  Now here's him in 3D:   The first is of an earlier skeleton which sucked (less) than the one in the second. Showing that one just for full body views. Soon, he shall be blue and furreh! \o/ I also randomly did this:  Bob Ross inspired me for a minute. He was such a chill and talented dude. |

Hey, Bliz, quick question. Would it cost me if I made a request? Just asking because I can draw things myself, but I'm not good at it, and my hands cramp way too much because of how long I've been drawing (been doing it since 8). I don't care if it's colored or not. I'm not sure if I should PM you or not for this sort of request. Sorry if I did something wrong.

Your hands cramp up from drawing? That sounds strange. I've been drawing since I was three and I'm twenty-two, have done large life-drawings and been forced to keep numerous 75-page sketchbooks for college, and my right hand's perfectly fine. Anyway, it would depend upon what you want and the time it takes me to do it. I've generally gone up $40 before just for black and white drawings (finished drawings, not sketches), even more if you want multiple characters and backgrounds. Also, I don't have any qualms about doing business in the open. Just no personal details will be exchanged publicly. |
