According to March 09 issue of Official Xbox Magazine,
during the month of November the Wii sold an "astonishing" 2 million copies.
the DS did fine with 1.5 million copies sold. the Xbox 360 did fine
with 836,000 systems sold, and the PS3 didn't do as well with
378,000 systems sold. interestingly they didn't mention the psp.
well the wii did quite well considering its lack of blockbuster games in November.
left the others in the dust. what are your thoughts on this?

I bought a Wii for the sequels to the games I loved on the Gamecube, I suppose gamers would be too.

What is the difference between a duck?

My thoughts... with all the young gamers with over protective parents it isn't about quality of hardware it is about the image painted over the console. The Wii is hands down the least controversial, most family friendly, cute console to the public. That's because that is what the market has bought into.. completely disregarding the family friendly elements to both the 360 and the PS3.

Sure cost is partially the factor but there are versions of the 360 at the same price as the Wii so that isn't the whole issue.

IMO, people can be played and buy into buying the Wii especially if they don't care about quality content, because if they don't.. it won't matter to them. Some people can get by and enjoy a second rate game lineup for a console and if they can good for them, I will play the console I find superior every generation. The 360 taking all the awards for this round.

Well, with how you pointed out it's not gamers buying the Wii, and then ended with "..." to leave an ominous tone hints at you thinking this is bad news.
