The most perfect game...for you

Discuss what video games you've played that feel like they're sheer perfection to you...like they were made just for you. I think it could be an interesting discussion to see what all we value and enjoy in a game.

Myself, it's Midnight Club Los Angeles. It's a racing game, so it's my favorite genre. It has an impressive, diverse lineup of real life vehicles, which I also value for the authenticity factor. There's plenty of good car customization you can do, from paints to rims to body kits, and I love being able to dress up my car just the way I like it. The cars handle beautifully and the game looks killer.

And most importantly, this game is hard.

A lot of racing games I've played recently just don't challenge me. I need a high level of challenge to keep myself entertained, otherwise I'll get bored like I did with the super easy NFS Undercover.

Anyway, the computers have godlike talents and they rarely make mistakes. The traffic is everywhere and you pretty much have to plan it into your strategy how to get through it. You have to play tournaments all the way through to win. If you restart in the middle you must begin at the start of the tournament.

In some races, you don't even have a restart button. For example, you can't restart a wager race without losing the money you bet. And there's pinkslip races where you have to put your car on the line. The game doesn't even let you cheat by turning off the system. Do that and it's an automatic loss for you. Your car is still going away. It's a turnoff for some of you, I'm sure, but for me...it's exactly the kind of motivation I need to make the races very exciting.

Um, wow, I don't think there are any perfect games for me that I never get tired of or anything. Back on PS1, the 32 bit era, I would have had to say NFS: High Stakes.

PS2/128 bit era? Uh, nothing that crosses my mind that was just perfect. GTA3 gave me that feeling, but after Vice City came out that formula got old for me.

I would have to say the Sonic games for the newest consoles! The older games were too easy to me, but the level of difficulty that games like Sonic '06 and Unleashed are THE kind of Sonic games to challenge my prowess!
I have an interest in spriting. If anyone has a request, don't hesitate to ask.

hm I'd have to say Zelda Orcarina of Time. I loved that game. everything in that seemed like something I would
enjoy. the water temple was probably the only thing that I didn't find that great.

My most perfect game would be as follows. I want to create this game so bad. But, i don't have the programs. It might be a project of mine at school.

Your World!!!

First off, there are four regions. A metropollis, a desert, an ocean city, and a space station. There are IMMENSE charcter creation options, loads of presets and, if you want, you an create it all from scratch. You enter the world, with your character. There is no story, unless you create one. You can make a house, you can destroy the city, anything. There are also every weapon type imaginable. And, again, you can create your own. There are 3 modes. The create mode, where yu can create buildings, weapons, accessories, ANYTHING!!! You can put certain weapons places, guarded by enemies, for a quest or something. It can be played like an FPS, an action game, a platformer, a sandbox or whatever. The second mode is Play. Here you can play/test the things you create. See if a quest goes well, or you can god mod the hell out of yourself, and doom the world. In this mode, you can choose options, like Blood, Language, and Sexual Content. The last mode is Publish. here you can give your maps, characters, powers, weapons and everything else (so long as the graphic content isin't to high) to everyone around the world.

Kinda like LBP, just better. This is the game in a nutshell. It would be endless...

PC 1st person shooters are my favorite. And "Call of Duty 4" is the perfect game for me, hands down. The storyline was good. Multiplayer mode becomes more challenging as well as interesting. Challenging because not only do you gain more weapons and upgrades, but so does your opponent. Interesting for customizing classes to your utmost desires.

However, "Pop 'n Music 13" for PS2, ties. Geez! I LOVE music games such as this one. I only wish I was able to have the arcade controller and the full music CD track. I desire this music game for my PC, but I can only dream...

I like games what have a great story and are challenging, Zelda Ocarina of Time had that, it had a great story and it was challenging in some of the temple's also the final boss was tough, the music in the game wasn't bad either.
