I guess you can call it hide and seek if you will. Here is how it goes. Some of you, mainly the staff, know about... the other me's around SB. But don't be alarmed lovely staff members, I'm not doing any at the moment. I believe I told MoD every single account I had so only the staff may already know of them and I want to keep it that way. Anyways, for those that don't know and are clueless. I had/have multiple accounts. Why? because I like being other people then myself. Heck, most of you have my other accounts on your friends list and don't even know that person is really me. I don't mean to brag but I'm pretty good and acting. And if I can pull of having more then two different accounts without the staff even knowing I'm the same person, then you can see my skills are pretty good.(yea, I sound like a total loser right now.shoot my self) Getting to my point. As some of you may figured it out, I want to start something like this for the game, having a SMALL group of MY choosing to have ONE other account and be someone else. The most people I'll be taking is three maybe two. Also, I'm not playing because I have enough accounts to feed china. If you want to be one of the lucky three then you can pm me on why you want to and why do you think you would be great for this game. I know some of you are like, "this is so simple." but to be honest it really isn't. This goes beyond rping I'll tell you that much. You actually have to have a different mind set and totally think differently when your doing this. And there is a lot more stuff to it as well. Oh, and don't post in this topic saying you want to be one of them... cause your jut setting your self up to be caught, duh. Now, the seeking part is done by the Staff of course. But, other members around can also try to find these three people that are being someone else. Now! A member can not state that he/she knows who one of the three are. They need to go to a staff member and tell them who they think it is, and from there that staff member will decide if he/she is indeed one of the three then post that they found one in THIS THREAD. The Staff is the one that has the last say though so if you were rejected then oh well, try again. But, you need to show proof to the staff member so they can present it here and I'll tell you yes or no. Now, I'm not excluding ANY of the staff members from being one of the three. Why, cause that just makes it more fun in my book. Rules: Yes there are rules in this game. The people that are chosen must agree to these terms. 1. They must not spam or flame anyone or any topic! 2. They MUST tell me their other account name 3. They can not change ANY of their accounts name no matter what! 4. They must be active with both accounts and more so, be active with the other account MORE then their normal one or have an equal balance of the two.(Suggestion, plan it out how you'll be able to do this. I'll give tips on how to through pm when I've selected the three.) 5. They CAN NOT tell on any of the other three if they somehow find out. 6. They can not use an already existing name(which you can't do anyways) or try to make it closely to another. (I'll add more rules if more come to mind or any others from the staff to make sure nothing illegal is done.) Basically its hide and seek, a fun game that we all can take part in. Now, I obviously can't say that this game is going to run cause that is up to the staff and the big guy in charge. So basically I'm asking if this is a good idea and if any are interested in playing it AND if its even allowed to be done. I'll make a poll to see who supports this idea or not. Staff members can't avoid it, it's displayed in the top bar of every post, to my memory. You would either have to make it a rule to use a proxy or for the staff members not to be able to participate whatsoever, except for acting themselves.

If by "he", you were referring to myself, then you should note that it quite clearly displays beneath my avatar that I am female. ;3 Anyway, more to the point... It is not difficult to use a proxy and it would be unfair to disclude staff members. I strongly urge that if this game is permitted, it should be made a rule that participants must appear under a different IP address than that which they normally use.

I mean, if you think you can do with out a proxy then by all means do so. Honestly, what staff member is going to remember everyone's IP address. Well, this is a game of brains I suppose, to trick everyone to believing your someone else requires a great amount of thought. So, people that are hiding, do what you can to avoid being caught. Proxy is recommend.

You don't need to have the exact number memorised to notice the similarity between IP addresses. If I were a staff member playing this game knowing the participants weren't using a proxy, I could easily work it out by looking through the IP addresses of any newcomers created after the game went into play and then searching for a match with active members. Even if you made a rule against staff members winning by noticing the matching IP addresses, the staff members could simply pay extremely close attention to the accounts with matching IP addresses until they had sufficient proof which they'd notice quicker than other members would.

I was just thinking once I the three are chosen I'd tell them when they could create their other account and post their intro and such. Of course, not on the same day cause then they'd all be caught. After I know that the three have made their other accounts, several days later I'll state that the game has 'begun' so to speak. Doing this will give the hiding people more of a chance to survive longer. Plus, I have many tricks that can help the people hiding not get caught easily. I may not be playing, but I'm still going to root for the people hiding and try to help them out and such. Or, I might not do anything and just seat back and see how good these three really are.

Well, looks like the three have their work cut out for them. This just in! Its been brought to my attention that I should also make a group of members who would be known as the Investigators of this game. What do they do? They do the same thing as everyone else, they seek. But! they are LIKE the seeking Staff members. Meaning, any member can go to one of the Investigators instead of going to one of the Staff members. This way, members wont be continuously pming the Staff members on who they think it is. So, want to be an Investigator then step right up. Though, you gotta have the right stuff to be one of course. Added Rules: 1. Investigators MUST NOT create another account. Your not the one hiding, your the ones seeking. 2. Investigators can not be someone hiding. (I'm thinking of not putting this rule. but it seems fair to put it.)
