What do you think of Kingdom Hearts?

I've never played the game, but I think its awesome for two reasons.
Reason uno: I read the manga adaptions.
Reason B: I've seen a friend play it.

I think its without a doubt the most creative thing Disney has ever made. Which impresses me very much.

Shut up, SU <3.

I really do like the game. It did a heck of a lot better job exploring Disney worlds than any other Disney game. I just love the Tarzan and NBC worlds, and the music for each? Key.

It's really beautiful, methinks ^^;;. I'm not a big fan of Disney, either, but they did a good job tying the franchise into the plotline (Disney Princesses in KH1, for example). Also, there aren't many other franchises that exhibit multiple series of different worlds... Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, maybe, but then, those franchises don't hold as much of candle to the worldwide nostalgia that Disney holds.

Square could have created multiple worlds, but, I don't think it would have had as much of a success. Using Disney had nostalgic value to the older audience, and general appeal to younger fans (and face it, younger children these days aren't going to see Disney in its prime like we did).

So, Disney x Final Fantasy: is it an odd pairing? Yes. Can it be justified? Yes. Did it work? Cleanly and Definitely. For what is was, Kingdom Hearts is a very smooth amalgamation of two different worlds, and I really like it for that.

Plus, the multiple interfaces are cool. Real-time fight, to QTE, to vine-sliding, to just random challenges throughout the game, make for a title that isn't going to lull its players to sleep with sheer monotony.

.. Yesquite.

Sorry for my ridiculously long posts all the time! 8P

Oh wow nice bump.

I <3 Disney, I haet Final Fantasy with my whole heart plus the whole thing JRPG's, which I hate to no end. Overall it's a ''meh'' game in my opinion. I tend to avoid it like an Arab avoids a Jew.

I only played the second Kingdom Hearts game and for the most part I found it enjoyable, but I found the last boss way too easy.

. . .

I really dislike Final Fantasy but I am a big fan of Disney so I decided to give it a go and I loved it. The second game was a bit too easy but I really liked the first one a lot.

I have the manga's too and I completed both games 100% - because this is what boredom does to you! But I really like the series and Donald and Goofy are <3

Don't defy me or I will beat you senseless with a sack of doorknobs!
I love Kingdom Hearts! My friend showed me the game a few years ago, and I went out and bought 1, 2, and Chain of Memories a day later, and bought the stragety guides when I couldn't get the Ultima Weapons and when I learned I needed to beat the Hundred Acre Wood and get the worst Keyblade in KH 2 (Sweet Memories) just to get the seventh and final "Luck Bonus" to get some items needed for the Ultima Weapon. I recently got Re: Chain of Memories and am overjoyed that I finaly got to play the PS2 version of Chain of Memories in english.

Kingodm Hearts is my favorite game, and it will always have a place in my heart called "The place in my heart that is for Kingdom Hearts."

If it wasn't the whole disney thing, i would love the game. It has awesome the combat, and good characters...besides disney shit. Like if they would replace donald and goofey with cloud and leon, that would be cool. I still like the game, it has good combat but there are some bad things.

Well for all those FF/Disney/crossover haters, I highly suggest trying it before say "oooh but I might not like it..." chances are you just don't want to be as sad as someone like me or Avii XD

Huh? What's that post above me say?

I'll be honest, I was like that. While I saw Square's name on it, I saw the Disney bit and I was a bit hesitant, but it was still an excellent game overall. ^^; I guess it just makes it seem kiddish when it has Disney characters to it, but that just adds to the charm.
If someone asks me if I'm enjoying life, unless it's something really unforgivable, I can't help but answer that I am. No matter how much despair there is, I'm satisfied with just living...Just being allowed to be here really is a wonderful thing.
