"No Guage, there is not. Once my core is empty, I'm empty for good. It is not as simple as replacing a battery to replace a hateoplasmic energy core. Besides, we lack the nessesary tools and people to make them." Iven looked at Taylor. "Trust me, Taylor. You have yet to see the true threat I'm talking about." He brought up an image of a strange creature. Three black spikes on its back that slowly released a poisoness gas; green head fur and orange torso fur; a bare, muscular chest; grey eyes; and a monkey-like tail. Iven turned to the others. "This is our second threat."

"That, Taylor, is an alien, a Cronatone. Cronatones are extremely dangerous. Those spikes on their backs emit a toxic poisoness cloud. All Cronatones are incredibly strong, able to lift a truck by the age of eight. But the most dangerous Cronatone is this one." He brought another picture next to the first. It was also a Cronatone, but it was slightly larger, and smoke surrounded it. "This is Sigma, Number 5 on the Cronatone Council of Nine, which leads their entire planet. He is a mutan amoung their people and can control smoke." Anothr picture appeared. A slender, streamlined alien with three fins on its head. Its body was green with blotches of pink and blue, and its arm and legs rippled with muscle. "And this is Grub, Sigma's only true partner. He is of the Elastiken Hive and is also extremely dangerous."

Dropping his hologram and opening up his chest compartment, revealing his core. The core pulsated. "Hateoplasmic energy cores have advantages and disadvantages. They can power something as small as a gun, or something as large as a warship. But they can only hold as much energy as their original size will allow." Iven nodded. "Artemis' core is highly advanced. That one core alone is enough to power several dozen warships, but as he said, hateoplasmic energy is tricky to use and/or handle." Raven nodded. "From what I can understand of Artemis' blueprints, his hateoplasmic energy core was originally intended to power a Zero Space engine." Iven said, "Elastikens are an odd race. When just born, their bodies are nearly immobile. But once fully grown, they become incredibly limber and can stretch their bodies to amazing distances. One last detail, but it's not about payment... You want this done with 'minimal loss'?"

Iven looked at Taylor. "Let's put it this way, Taylor. As long as Raven, Artemis, and my adopted daughter Alana, who shall be here shortly, aren't hurt, I don't care what you have to do." He laughed grimly. "And don't get as desperate as my nephew did when he traveled to the Cronatone homeworld. An entire planet's disappearance is VERY hard to cover up."

But despite the fact, we all are brothers and sisters, Inhabiting and living under the same sky. But despite this, we war and kill our siblings over trivial things, Staining the earth on which we all walk, With the blood of our brothers, With the blood of our sisters. The sky under which we go through our lives weeps, For the clouds surely know of the atrocities we commit. We slay, maim, gouge, and destroy our siblings, In the name of things which ought not be fought for. Approach a member of the family not, With the tainted lash of hatred, But with the pure flower of love. ======================================= The sword. A weapon who's blade is stained red With the blood of its countless victims. Were it alive, what would such a being feel? Would it live only to fight, And fight only to live? Would it be controlled By those with the skill to do so? I believe that it would cry For each person it has ever brought harm to, Its tears as red as the blood it has spilled.
