Taylor glanced at Nano. "What's chipped this guy's chip? And besides, the resources at the Doc's disposal, chances are he could find out pretty quickly," he said. Glancing over to Albino, he then said, "I think that's what this 'mission' revolves around. Even chances: It's either something of the Doc's that we need to protect, or something that someone else is working on that he'll want us to shut down." At that, Taylor flicked the orange rock out of his pocket, and in a flash of light it had become a dark green rifle, which Taylor then deposited into a collapsible holster on his jacket. "Better."

Raven came out of the Kalesaur's cage and sat next to the machine Artemis was charging in. She looked at her android friend and sighed, bored.
Iven looked at Nano. "Wacked out? I highly suggest you make note to not insult one such as myself. I am no wackjob, and I and one of the most respected scientists in the APPA."
He looked at Artemis and sighed. "Or at least, I was until Project: Titan 'failed'."

Taylor's gaze darted from Dr. Iven over to Artemis, then back to the doctor. "I think I get it. They asked for a super soldier, but you didn't... quite deliver, did you?" Part of Taylor prayed that nobody would ask how he'd come to that conclusion, because if he explained... he'd be sharing the one incident he had never confided to anybody since arriving in this plane so long ago (for him, anyway), not even to his closest comrades.

He looked towards Artemis. "Artemis is the only successful end to Project: Titan. After I worked out some bugs in his system, he became nearly sentient. I thought that no one should enslave his kind for the sole purpose of war. And so, I reported to the APPA that my experiments had been a complete failure, then I quit the APPA, taking Artemis with me."
