Since my topic of "No More SonicX?" was getting alot of posts on it that no longer relate to the topic, I decided to start this up for everything to migrate to where the posts will relate to the topic. A few topics to discuss (feel free to come up with your own, topics will frequently be added to this list as this discussion goes on): A. Thrash the Hedgehog That one blonde girl on the wheel chair looked exactly like Maria. Beloved Doll And has anyone noticed that the girl (whose name is Helen, btw), her mother is -dressed- like Maria?? B. Your thoughts on the voice acting (Japanese and English). C. Amy being replaced with Chris on the Ark scene with Shadow where Shadow is reminded of Maria. D. Do you think they were hinting that there was something more special than just friends happening between Shadow and Maria with them being shown as holding hands in SonicX? E. It doesn't matter what you or I or anyone would want for season 4, it (the English version) would all be controlled by 4 Kids and hated deeply by anyone no matter how good or bad it was. Bliz said it best, the show tie-ins have always been cheezilly portrayed and most likely always will be. What I would like in whatever show media is just a show that would satisfy people and make them stop coming out and repeatedly hating on it (with reason or not) and thinking about what could have been. I'm sorry but that is what I believe. |

In general, I thought SonicX was ok. Certainly the Japanese version was better and I couldda done without Chris or Cosmo. But overall I enjoyed it. |

I thought Sonic X was very cheaply done, alot of the things that happened in that series had already been a game or just a good concept badly executed, one of my main what the eff moments of the series is when Tails wonders what a stratosphere is....a Pilot with a IQ of 300 and has been into space multiple times is more then likely going to know what one is, on the same episode, Robotniks invention posed a striking resembelance to a Thunderbird vehicle, even having the same function to drop a block from the middle, and somehow magically get it back. The series concept of Sonic coming to our world was a very intresting concept, it started out good then fell apart when they introduced Chris... |

Chris was a terrible character (have long since before not liked the fact that the humans are so involved with the Sonic stuff). He was so mopey and needy it was ridiculous. x.x |

Chris was completely obsessed with Sonic through out most of the show. He barely gave a damn about the other characters. What kind of shit is that? |

and Shadow was kinda stupid enough to think Chris looks like Maria. Sure the eyes are similar, but they still don't look anything like eachother. That one blonde girl on the wheel chair looked exactly like Maria. But Danny was the best human character in the show. He's just funny. |

Yeah, i kinda noticed a little. But what really made me mad is that 4kids edited it out to make people think Maria got captured than killed. Killed seems more dramatic. Also, they edited the scene where Chris gets the crap beat outta him by Shadow. He gets hurtled into the wall, but we didn't see that in the 4kids version. |

It is rather saddening that they took out a lot of scenes (like the one of Shadow and Maria holding hands among the others you listed) and they changed so many lines. I think if a company with better skills on dubbing a Japanese animation ought to have been the ones to get their hands on SonicX. Even though the Japanese version still isn`t perfect (perfect doesn`t exist anyway), it`s much much better than the English one. |

What i also noticed is when Knuckles and Rouge were fighting in ARK, Knuckles slightly cuts Rouge's cheek and blood comes out. That's a better way to fall. But 4kids made it look like she did it on purpose. WTF. |

also, they make Sonic say some crappy lines and puns. the japanese version is more humorous and has better music. OMG, THE 4KIDS MUSIC! it's so loud and it's the same goddamn thing over and over again! whenever Sonic appears, that stupid theme comes on. every episode has that same music! i can't stand it! |
