Yes because the child was named after the German Dictator. Sounds a bit absurd. However what frightens is why would they name him after Germany's most ruthless leader of all times. At least in the 90's. So yeah a friend to me showed this from a Norwegian newspaper. There for I ain't posting any link because you would probably not understand what's been said. However I am sure there is some news about it out there. Anyway what are your thoughts.   I mean just look at him. How can they see him as a threat or whatever dumb perspective taking him away from his mum and father. I feel sad for the kid.

These parents are sick **Bleep**s, they are obviously obsessed over Hitler, as you can see when you read the article. Still, why the hell would you name someone after an evil German leader. Simple Answer Because names are free..If they wanted to use Hitler for their son's name,Then do it,For god sake just because HIS NAME is Hitler doesnt mean HE IS or WILL BECOME Hitler.. Makes me sick.. |

I agree on that part  I heard this news from Fox 8 news and that is a outrage! and who cares if they name a kid Adolf! to me they could've run out of good names for their kid so they had no extreme right to take a kid like that! I found something in black and white: Campbell says he chose the names to honour his German ancestry and because they're unique. <--- right there respect your Ancestors! I'm not sure what to think. Sure, the parents are wrong for naming him completely after Hitler, but as previously expressed in previous posts, it is the person, not the name. By that reasoning, they should be allowed to name their children in whichever way they deem fit.. But generally, people are stupid and aren't able to function on that level. It just goes to show how simple-minded people can get in response to something they don't like. Sure, I'd feel irked about a kid named Adolf Hitler Campbell, but would I hold it against the parents? No. |

Wow, taking a kid from his parents because of his name? This world is a sad place, a sad place indeed. Now, I could see why some authorities would be suspicious, because we all know what the original Adolf Hitler did. But seriously, if we can't stop a middle-aged man and woman and their infant child from taking over our countries, then maybe we aren't fit to run 'em. >.> Also, the parents should've known it could cause problems, but nonetheless, these people have rights, and should be able to name their kid whatever they want. If I name my kid Nuclear Bomb <Insert Last Name Here>, I shouldn't lose custody of him, should I? It's not like they family has threatened to take over the world, or Germany, or whatever. Poor kid... |

Yet the world doesn't flinch when some lady named her child Yujinaka? For goodness sakes, it's a name. Now, I sympathize with the many communities and the insult they must feel, but what are you going to do? Kill the boy? He may be away from his parents, but his first and middle names are still "Adolf" and "Hitler." This isn't The Giver. Names aren't banned, no matter who was behind them. His parents have done enough as to excommunicate him from the world by naming him what they did. His imminent shunning and removal is what will serve, if anything, as the catalyst to the development of another mental case like the first "Hitler." What they ought to do is leave the boy well alone and let him live his life as happily as he can, like any other child that doesn't choose his or her name. When he turns eighteen, then he'll be able to decide what he wants to do with his identity: change it or keep it, it doesn't mean he's a bad person, and it doesn't mean he's going to become a furor and try to take over the world, among other abominations and warcrimes. What is the world coming to... Seriously, as stated before: It's just a name. Sure, the parents are partially to blame because they should have known that a name like that would have caused a big hype. But it's not like this kid is going to grow up into another Hitler. The authorities had no right to take the child away from his parents. that's what I think anyway. |
