Quite frankly, stepping into what seemed like a blood bath did not feel like an appealing option. 	Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

Stacking rocks on each side of the encampment, he carved a message into the nearest trees. "Here lies the final resting place of many brave souls. May good fortune rule over their existance in the afterlife." Nodding, satisfied with his work, Lamoon concentrates on his sword, still with Kamula. As he locates it, he opens a portal. Several seconds later, he reappears next to Kamula and gently takes his blade and scabberd from her. "What'd I miss?" he asked quietly.

We're about to check it out" Crio said. He continued walking the lifeless plain between the Forest and City. Something didn't seem right. This was too serene, to peaceful.

He flipped his sword in his hand so that he now held it backhanded, and he held his left hand behind his head so that he could send a surge of water at anything that jumped them.

Where the others were standing. In the open. He turned around. He scanned the forest for life but saw nothing. Maybe he was paranoid. Maybe he was crazy. Maybe unicorns exist. "Guys, get away from the forest NOW!!" He shouted, just as the attackers jumped out. They were elite nightmares. Each duel wielding great swords, swinging them around like rapiers. Crio jumped towards one, he already had some earth energy stored up in his hands. He was about to hit the ground when he put is hands to the things forhead, and let it rip. A green blast of energy, fanning out as it go away from its host, hit it at point blank. His head Should have been blown off. should have. It recoiled a couple of feet but came back full force. It hit Crio with all its strength and sent him flying. "Run towards the city!!!" Crio yelled as he landed "Try to fight them off as you go!!"

Seven bullets flew towards the nearest foe before Taylor even started backpedaling. "Not good, not good!" He shouted as he kept the rifle firing. It was awkward going trying to run backwards and shoot his gun at the same time, but somehow he managed.

Kamula cried, running across the roads, not daring to turn back. Not now. Not when she had made all this progress. The nightmares were powerful. They were swift, they were accurate, and challenging in every way possible. But that didn't stop her, knowing that surviving war years ago could result in the same victorious feeling again.

They were nearing the gat. If they were to get out alive, someone had to carry the less agile people. Or he could open the gate, letting the nightmares in. That would be bad. "This is a special armour I forged after I . . . left my village. Its got afew special properties, so its not just cloth." Lamoon jumped high into the air. Looking down at the nightmares, he yelled "Vaccum Wave!" and swung his sword, creating a ripping wave that sucked in everything it contacted.

He was almost as high as Lamoon when a nightmare jumped up and slashed him down to the ground. He hit it hard. He kicked the nightmare as it tried to stab him. He ran forward. He got to the wall and jumped up on it. He started throwing fireballs at the nightmares, trying to keep them off the others. "Hurry up!!! I can't keep them held off forever" Crio yelled.
