The Nightmare Crisis

ahem...FALCON PUNCH!!! Posts: 1,565 Group: S Rank Hero Member #1,516 Joined: June 27, 2007	Story: Everything is peaceful in the world. No wars or anything. The year is 2798, 20 years after the catastrophic war that ended almost all life. There were only about 255 Million survivors. And 20 years later, the world's population is about 700 million. They have expanded from the USA into parts of Canada and Mexico. Their next project is to move into southern America and the rain forest. It is so dense, and no one has been there for so long that all their maps are obsolete. They start by moving from the northern part into the west coast. What they find is disturbing. There are cities, with tech that no one on earth has had the resources, or smarts, to build. But, what they find, is nothing. There are no signs of civilization that has lived there for months. They suspect that the war killed them all, but there are still scraps of food, and weapons and everything still there. It is as if, it all ended so suddenly. They move past the "villages" and the same thing is there with each one.They finally find what is happening. A team of about 5 people find a cave that leads about 20 KL under ground. They go into the cave to find that there are holes everywhere. They find that the cave is the main entrance to an elaborate maze of tunnels. About 15KL into the "tunnels" they find these tunnels of swirling energy. There are creatures crawling out of them. They seem intelligent, but at the same time, mindless beasts. They also look to be made of shadow. The team gets frightened and tries to get out of the cave, but they find themselves lost. The creatures notice them and pursue them. They are captured and brought to the "sanctum". They find the beasts can talk, like normal humans, so they ask some questions. They call themselves the "nightmares". They are here to enslave the earth's inhabitants and offer the planet to their god. After that, they are taken to the "Wormhole" and forced to walk through. They disappear into oblivion, forever. Now, the nightmares, launch their first attack on the civilization. You are set up with about 150 other people in a makeshift camp. You are rushed at night, the element of surprise is with the Nightmares. You are one of the first to notice the attack. You run to warn your commanding officer, but cannot find him. You decide to fight off as many as you can before retreating. Rules: Basic RP rules. NO DOUBLE POSTING!!!!!! if you want to add something click on the convenient EDIT button below your posts. My main Nightmare is Drain, He stands up on two legs and has 2 Centaur like spikes coming from his forehead and ending halfway down his back. His armor looks like Clouds but with 2 shoulder pads and leg armor. Drain looked upon the camp full of the inferiors. He saw many of them laughing and acting as if there was nothing wrong. Putrid animals. Most of them will die. The war to end all wars has almost begun, and this time, the nightmares will win. He gave a hand signal and his minions ran on all fours to start the attack. Their weapons...their hands. With the strength of 20 men, they will rip the humans to shreds. He unsheathed his scythe, and jumped into the middle of the camp to start the onslaught. His scythe was a normal pole , with a shadows edge enchant that allowed the edge to be made of shadows. It can be formed to any shape, He formed it to a normal scythe, about a 4 foot long blade, ant stalked the camp. He came upon a large tent and looked inside, there he saw a human with more guns than usual. He raised his sythe, ready to kill him when... "not tonight, Bleep" A voice said behind him. He heard a gun cock. He ducked out of the way just in time to hear the gun fire. He was out of the path of bullets. He moved swiftly to kill his target. He came up behind him and drove his scythe through his chest. "God Da..." He said, as he was dying. Suddenly the camp broke loose with fire and screams. He saw many of his minions attack and kill many people, but he also saw is minions get killed with strange weapons that shot a blue ball. He ran towards a group of about twenty men and started hacking.

He was meditating on a tree branch just outside the base. Seeing dark creatures, Lamoon creeps into the campsite. He looks at one black creature attacking a young woman. He snaps his finger and a black hole sucks the creature inside and closes. Lamoon shows the woman to a safe area. "Stay here." he told her.

He had an insane look about him, this look came from his grin. He started to hear people screaming and hearing the fire blaze. He opened his eyes and smiles. "Finally. something fun around here." He tells himself and strapped the bazooka to his back and shotgun at his side. He also had some ammo strapped around his chest. He dashes into action and quickly spots one. He quickly fired his shotgun and sent the dark creature flying backwards and screaming in pain. "Oh yea, this is fun." he states smiling more.

He approached the animal. He was at least 8 and 1/2 feet tall. This thing, he could squash it like a bug. "you, what is your name?" He asked "and why do you work with these inferior beings. They will enslave you and kill you. Give me a reason i shouldn't do that myself!"

He slammed into a tree and caused it to fall over. Surely, any normal person would be dead. or badly injured to the max. But Boom was normal though. For now, he lay there, branches covering him and hidden among the fallen tree.

He smirked when he moved the branches and saw Boom's dead body lying there. He was now on the problem to take care of Lamoon. He ran towards where he last saw him. He looked around and spotted him with that woman. He walked up to them and raised his scyth to Lamoon.
