In Sonic Unleashed, at a certain point you must press X 60 times in... approximately 12 seconds. Oh well. I use a 360 controller. Pretty hard, right? It kills your fingers, blah blah blah. Oh, wait. Didn't tell you the deal. I'm left handed. I tried almost every possible tactic and none worked. Can someone help me? D:

I haven't cleared much more then the first Werehog level. So I have experienced countless with mashing on the buttons. But can't you attempt mixing up some combos then using the same pattern always. It can turn quite repetitive. Nevertheless I haven't made it far so I can't probably help you more then that. Edited by DragonFlame, Jan 11 2009, 03:50 AM.

TEE HEE! Posts: 4,452 Group: D Rank Legend Member #1,527 Joined: June 28, 2007	Well i have sonic unleashed for the 360 and am kind of almost to that part (Am in the part when u play Adabat day stage act 1 still tyring to find those DAMN Sun medals ) Anyways my suggestion is that you use your fastest left hand finger (I am right handed and i use index finger is my fastest) and mash like if your gonna get 200g Gamescore points.

Bowie reccomended me to stock on lives in the previous levels, so I am going to follow his advice so far. But some tips on the actual button mashing would be nice. EDIT: Quote: How far ahead is this. Use your best finger, like Sonitrex said. Definitely stock up on lives. Stock 'em like there's no tomorrow. If you think you have enough, get five more. This is the best I can come up with. With the Wii motes, you just shake them.....ANYWAYS! With the button pushing, is it battling a Dark Gaia boss? Also, are you sure you have to press it 60 times in 12 seconds? That seems a bit extreme for a video game.

Maybe get a friend who did this already? And, just out of curiosity, at what part do you need to button mash like this?

Sonic Crossroads 6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads. This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me. On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger. Demo for the fangame coming soon.

So this isn't when Sonic is to hit the eyes or when you box with Gaia Colusses... So, I'm guessing when you're Super Sonic, and you're going for a center eye or something, you have to press that button 60 times in 12 seconds.... Well, my best finger is my right pointer finger. And since you're left handed, I guess you would have to hit it with your left pointer finger? Set the controller on in front of you, and just press it. I guess this is the only thing you can do, or just keep going at it. You'll get it eventually.

That's another good idea; if a control set doesn't work for me, I either do that or declare the game a blaspemy against nature and cast Smite Evil on it. But ah... the second option probably ain't the best way to go about things in your case.

But thanks very much for your advice, guys. ^^ EDIT: GUYS! I MADE IT! I MADE IT! A WINNAR IS ME! Basically, I stocked up 47 lives. At the fatal QTE, I put the controller on the floor... And started tapping like crazy with my left pointer finger. It worked! At less of a second left, I made it! Hold on. Wanna know the hyrony? In total... I LOST JUST ONE LIFE. xD Thanks guys.
