Yes it appears that Venny the senseless douche and wannabe-soon-world-conqueror actually has feelings. =/ I'm suprised too. But now onto the whole event, it was nothing more then a mere dream but it had quite a powerfull impact on my life. For about 40 minutes, since this is when I woke up. Now the Dream. ''I was in my house alone by myself when rest of my family left for some sort of shopping. I was in my brothers room on the computer using photoshop. I was drawing something (( Tom from Tom & Jerry I think  )) When I suddenly whispered ''you never know what hides in the shadows'' for some reason. Then immidently afterwards a shadow appeared behind me whispering the very same line and then it suddenly grabbed me. (( Now this part may sound ridiculous but It's what happened )) It appeared that this thing that grabbed me was the devil (( Yes, OMFGBBQ )) but it was strange because he was this classical image of the devil with red face muscly body and horns. As he grabbed me we fell into some sort of black canyon and he laughed in his deep voice ''I'm the devil'' and although it was a dream I could feel like if all of my body was just being shattered and I was losing my mind. ''And then I woke up with my heart beating like mad. Now what this all could mean? I know it may sound ridiculous but it was pretty darn real for a dream, it almost felt like real life. Please try to take this seriously and help me out here, if you're going to laugh or cause trouble...well let's just say I'm going to take it personally. Yes I'm looking at you Gale. What did all this mean?! D: |

Since I'm not Freud, I'm not going to dissect the general imagery in your nightmare lest we both end up looking like idiots. But I've heard nightmares, especially recurring ones, are simply the culmination of problems you are withholding or dealing with in your waking life. Stress from work or school, childhood trauma, a feeling that you lack control somewhere, faltering relationships-- all and more can easily lead to the presence of nightmares. If it's only happened this one time, I wouldn't think too much of it. The occasional nightmare is to be expected. If it keeps happening over a long period of time, I'd suggest going online to try and dissect your dream or even get professional help if you need to. |

If it is truly a foretelling dream, then the most superficial analysis of it would yield a very necessary urge to be vigilant of impending danger. The fact that your dream self uttered the first warning, it may mean that you will come to realize an upcoming threat before it truly makes itself known. The "living shadow" could mean that the trouble may manifest as something most often deemed harmless that will become a threat to you. Also, the appearance of the "devil" seems to foreshadow the trouble coming in the form of a person, who may resort to lies, trickery, and the like to deceive or corrupt you. His hold and you both's fall into the canyon seems to hint that, if they manage to convince or contract you into whatever scheme they're planning, whoever it is will drag you down into disaster, even if it means they fall as well. Whoever it is may appear in a very familiar setting, a fact that may cause you to not be weary of them. Or, it could just be a bad dream. *shrug* I'm not an interpreter. ^^ I wouldn't let it get to ya. Just don't talk to strangers, or take any wooden nickles. Use "common sense;" if something doesn't seem right, don't go along with it, or even entertain the idea. I'm not saying shun everyone around ya, or descend into paranoia. Just.. do as you usually do, thoughtfully. =P. |

Hmmm...both BlizSonic and BlizShadow replied, I await for BlizEggman and BlizBig. Thanks guys, I will see if the dreams repeat more often or something. Although it could be a foretelling of something I don't know. The funny thing is I regreted everything what I've done when I was falling down the black void/canyon-y thing. When I woke up, I imagined this could be what happens after death or something. D: I mean I had bad dreams before and plenty of them too...but this one was just...wow. |

Venny looks different. Did he get a haircut Anyway, dreams that feel real are common enough. Its all do with your sub-conscious and how it can play tricks on you. Though the worst, and I always remember this one, is when you feel like your falling, and suddenly you wake, expecting to still be falling or to have hit the ground. Its the most haunting feeling, simply because it feels so real, and within a split second your dealing with the fact thats its not. It messes with your head. Actually, they did a test once, and they were able to increase a guys heart rate, simply by getting him to imagine himself swimming. |

Oh, yeah; also, you may want to practice a bit of lucidity, aka, control over your dreams. You can really get yourself out of very frightening situations, from recognizing nightmares before they develop, to controlling your panic, to changing the course of the nightmare. =D yeah and turning falling dreams into flying dreams is just awesome xD! ^^ If you try it, best of luck. |

Thanks for the advice guys, I will see if the dream occurs but I'm begging to doubt it. As the day went on I just ignored it and went on with my life. Topic lock'd. Thanks again guys.
