Also, Valve still needs to release the final Half Life 2: Episode 3. :P
They don't need to. THEY MUST REALESE THAT.

What I would hate to see in 2009 is anything from the big Nintendo Franchises. I mean they're fine but it wouldn't hurt them to make a starfox game for a change ?
You and a couple of other people I know would agree there and want a new Starfox game to come out on the wii finally.

And Metallix, just you wait till I see you on AIM next time, I'm better we will argue some about that Wii business :D
I'm a gamer and always will be a gamer. If you don't believe me. I have 430 Video Games and 19 Consoles.

I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P

So, let's see if you can outdo "The Jet Gamer"

I liked it better when my name text, was normal. D:
Call of Duty is going to come whether you want it to or not, It's been a yearly thing, since it started. I'd want a complete edition though, the recent editions, haven't taken long to complete. Oh and the morden stuff was pretty shit compared to the latest.

Ontopic:

Guitar Hero;
Megaman;
Super Monkey Ball;
Those DS games that nobody buys;
Cooking Mama;

Mario needs to leave for like 5 years, then I'll welcome him back nicely after the fifth year.

"Sonic needs to leave for like 5 years, then I'll welcome him back nicely after the fifth year."

Excluding Brawl and Sluggers, we haven't got an actual Super Mario game at all this year so shush, Ray. -_-

Also, I agree no more Rabbids. The old Rayman platforming game for the N64 was one of the first games I ever played and probably one of my favorites. Now we're just having boring casual games. A new Rayman platforming title would be nice. No more casual Rabbids game.

Call of Duty sucks and that's another game that shouldn't come out next year! I seriously don't get why they keep on churning out the same thing after same thing. COD 1-3 were exactly the same but had better graphics as it went on and all required no skill. I don't know how a series like that became so popular.

I think Modern Warfare's multiplayer is what made it famous....

I never said I hated Mario, I'm just sick of him. The only game I like with him in it for the Wii is SSBB because it is not centered around him.

I don't hate Mario though; I actually bought the old NES Mario game for Wii, back in the day when Mario was ACTUALLY DECENT!

Even though the werehog was fail, it was something new.

It wasn't the same old guy in overalls chasing around an overweight turtle to save a princess (who isn't even that pretty by the way) over and over again.

Sonic at least has something new in its games. Mario does not.

Enough said.

The series shouldn't have to change. The gameplay is already good enough. Reason why Sonic changes is its because of its not-revolutionary-gameplay. And if you mean story-wise, Sonic doesn't really change either. Sure, maybe for a different reason, but Sonic basically goes around and collects Chaos Emeralds.

Putting battery acid on a hot fudge sundae would be something new too. But do you really wanna eat that? Or would you prefer it without the acid, like you always eat it? I honestly can't see how something being new (yet faill) is automatically better than something tried and true. The people have definitely spoken on this one. Mario's got lots of great selling games while it's been fashionable to ridicule Sonic for years now.

Developers had some courage to try new ways.
