Official Sonic Blast Comic Competition; Ends May 1st

 We are starting a comic competition. The competition for best Comic will begin TODAY December 20th, 2008 A.D. The competition will end on March 1st. The winner will get exclusive rights to making the Official SB comic series. The rules of this competition are as follows:

1) It must have no fancharacters in it
2) It must continue the story of the first issue already made. The story can be ANYTHING you wish. If you don't want them in the forum, just have them mysteriously warped back to the Zone/Mobius/Where ever.
3) Make it original

Here are the prizes for the talented winner.


  • Special winning plaque to keep, made specifically by me. The plaque can have whatever the winner desires in it(for example a fancharacter).
  • Winner will have any graphic of their desire made by one of the Gfx Army.
  • Winner will be put into the Sonic Blast Hall of Fame.
  • Winner will get to choose any new Sonic-related Theme of their choice to be added to the board. It can be anything you want. A Silver skin, Green Hill skin, Genesis skin, etc...
  • A new Custom Rank of the winner's choice(this can be anything the winner wants it to be) with all of the benefits an X-Rank Mythical Legend has.
  • Free ad space! For anything. Have a forum? Have a website? What you want will be placed on the affiliates page no matter what it is.
  • Winner gets an Official SB holiday named after them that will be placed on the calendar. The name of the holiday is entirely up to them.
  • One free warning. Oops! I accidentally messed up! No sweat, you have a "One Free Warning" card.
  • Exclusive rights to creating the official SB comic.

 First thing, pinning this for you. Surprised you did with the original comic yet not this... also adding a link to the comic in question for those that are too lazy to look it up.

Secondly, I am SO down with this ^^ til March 1st eh? Bring it on, I say. Bring it on. Although I noticed you use Advance graphics... would there be an issue with me using far superior RETRO 16BIT SPRITES? <3 Or would I have to source some of the Advance rips?

 Ok ok, it can be a drawing comic(although I personally think those look bad most of the time), but if it's good then who cares right? I just don't think you should get all uptight over that, if you're that good and like making comics, I don't see how changing your style would be such a big deal.

And if anyone comes in here complaining, "oh, no fancharacters? oh, way to single us out" I'll give you a steel toe boot in the ass. XD
