An Idea for a competition

 Well, if it's a competition, we have to know how everything is going to be judged and managed before we get into it, so that there aren't any hiccups along the way, or screw-ups in judging.

Alright, that said, here are the decisions Bliz, TUC and I (the judges at this point) have come to with consideration to all the posts made:

The roleplay will begin in a city in a mountainous region. Every judge will have a character, although their role in the game will differ from that of the players. TUC, Bliz and I will PM you our plans in that regard. There will be an over-all theme to the roleplay, which the judges characters will reflect. Everyone will be judged on the following criteria on a post to post basis:

1. Mechanics (15 points)

2. Fluency (15 points)

3. Word-choice (15 points)

4. Detail (15 points)

5. Brevity (15 points)

6. Character development (40 points)

So, overall, 60 for writing style, 40 for content.

Also, because the judges will be participating, we will be keeping an eye on everything. If we feel that fair-play is in any way damaged, be it through god-modding or any other irresponsible play, we will intervene, and leave a comment in OOC. This will automatically result in a -5 point reduction. If those involved refuse to cooperate, they will suffer a -25 point reduction, and any warnings after that will result in being booted from the roleplay. Your character will die, you will be disqualified.

All characters are acceptable, whether they're new or old, but bear in mind that character development weighs HEAVILY here.

Bliz and I will post up the roleplay introduction sometime this week. In the mean time, please begin posting your bios, and we will approve them. There are no real requirements, but the judges maintain the right to deny a bio for any reason, and bear in mind that fairplay is very important.

Ahhh... Have I missed something important or do I just not remember this part of the planning stages? *eyes appear to glaze over in panic*
