I might not be in control of this, but damn am I doing a hard work gaining the most active group back online again. Though this is made because of a rule. lilsonic if you don't agree it won't be made. And you can continue as before. But a member shouldn't be allowed creating more then two RP's at once. This is to make sure none of the previous made will fall into it's grave to early. We're supposed to find a way to thrive forth our RP's into something memorable and not just a shabby poor title thrown back into our little trashcan. So the only rule would be. 1. No more then 2 RP's per member to make sure none of the previous seize to it's existence. If so, the member who created it, will have to report one of the leaders and it shall be removed at once. Of course the posts made there will be worthy, but it won't apply as a further developing Role Play. Okay, why not here is a suggestion. Maybe we should consider Role Plays involving members only to be within this section only. No escapes that is. The RP's stays within a limited distance. So that's it. Your opinions.

Maybe even limit it down to one RP only. Something to set utmost attention towards. Like I know how difficult it is, having to many RP's at the same time. Pointing strictly towards a few members. And actually with new RP's made each day, it will just make members join the new one, to abandon the old one literally. That's why I considered as well drawing each and one RP created from here being thrown into the actual section of Organization XIII. It's not like there will be much difference is there. But that's the minority of this suggestion.

Is there a ranking I must reach in order to start an rp?

No, but obviously it's best to know what you're doing before you start an RP. If you've done it before, then go right ahead. If not, perhaps it's best to see how other RPs run before you begin your own, just so you get a good feel for the sorts of things you can expect.

Mostly because a user having more then two topics to 5 or 6 topics is retty hard to control. Some may not be finished as Latiku said, and some might not have a post in it. It so depends on how the topic is made. Fowarding this may actually put a mist of Roleplaying into the RP section.

And this is a good idea, most people I know that make more then one RP at one time always have one die very quickly, and I am sad about that.

Actually I don't think this will solve our current problem, which is to get the Org active again and also make the Advance section more noticeable. I guess putting back the Private section has helped some. So yea, please do add that rule. DF, I hold you(and who ever else wants to) accountable to ensure that this rule is maintained.

When I said I had not see a finished RP, I did not say that there were no finished RPs. Having said that, you must concede that a finished RP is a rarity at best.

Advance rps normally run slower then Beginner rps. I'm sure DF meant only just in general, Beginner or not. I guess we can see if others prefer to have two in each section. I'd support the idea of two to a person in general, because some might see the other sections as an escape from their responsibilities in other threads on the forums. You can't let people get away with starting a roleplay and then spending all their time on something else.

I can't say. You sure handed out an excellent but most difficult one to answer. I don't know how long time members need to look into stuff around here. Clearly the beginner section is more convenient since that's where the activity is. When adding something in the advanced. I guess you can call it dead if you don't see more responses after a two week period then your self or minimum one extra. I mean it could be taken as private all the same then right. --- The only difficult issue is, how would we even be able to enforce this rule. I mean we're not in charge around here. Perhaps a time to poke around the bosses around here.

I would say that a roleplay's dead when the thread starter is unable to get the thread moving despite all his/her attempts to revive the roleplay. That sort of plays into the rule you want created -- if we knew that the thread starter was actually trying to revive his/her roleplay but failed to do so, then s/he'd be allowed to make another one.
