You are never quite the person you think you are Posts: 3,081 Group: E Rank Legend Member #4,510 Joined: December 22, 2007	First off, this is the prequel to one of the greatest RPG's of all time, Kights of the Old Republic! The greatest Star Wars game ever made! Character Template: Name: Age: Physical Descriptor: Personality Descriptor: Starting Weapon: (Lightsaber, two lightsabers, double bladed lightsaber, two double bladed lightsaber Saber Color: (anything but red) Story: You are on Dantooine. You are Jedi Padawans. The Jedi Malak and Revan are asking for your allegiance, to fight against the Mandalorians. The Jedi Council serve NO ONE with inaction! The Jedi Council are advising to stay and think out a long term battle plan, or even see if the war can be avoided. In this RP you can be dark side or light side, light side gives you access to defensive powers (and a few offensive), and dark side gives you acces to offensive powers. You start out light side. Sign-Ups: 1. Banyog Typhus (Bently Morrison) 2. Reid Logos (Bently Morrison) 3. Quint Kitsune (lilsonic) 4. Lin Ookima (lilsonic) 5. Tristan Makon (TUC) 6. 7. I can only keep track of so many, and if you really want to join you can get in after they are full. Help with your intro: There are 7 masters you can consult on what to do, or you can find Revan and Malak (look for them outside the jedi temple). I would talk to the masters to find out whats going on. Rules: Update 1: Combat limitations This RP is pretty open-ended. You can kill anyone you want, do anything you want, go anywhere you want. Ill make a story to fit whatever you want to do. There are some limitations on combat however. IMPORTANT: THERE IS DEATH IN THE RP. You may make another character. ~(Weak) People labeled as such you may destroy however you wish. You can control their reactions. ~(Normal) People labeled as such have no chance of killing you, but you may NOT control their reactions. ~(Strong) People labeled as such have a low chance of killing you, but the chance is there. Use your enviroment and your brain especially and youll be fine. ~(Invincible) People labeled as such are very strong units and if you engage combat with them you will die. ~(Boss) Units labeled as such are killable, but have a medium chance of killing you. Use the same techniques as you would fight a strong unit, but be sure to do this EVERY POST. You have no room to not be on your best fighting for more than one post. ~(Super Boss) Units labeld as such are often found at the end of planets. These people are the hardest units in the game. Only attack when their is a weakness, otherwise defend as much as you can. When their is a weakness, unload everything you have. Force Powers, grenades, heck, even throw credits at them if they are easily distracted by money. Getting a final blow on them will take great cunning and doing something I probably had not thought of. Just gassing them might be easier, though. ~(Unknown) Some people are hard to read. Take great care with them, they just might be invincible units. Talk to them to find out more about them. I won't leave any of it to luck, you just have to ask the right questions. Although if you see them slaughtering people left and right, it might be best to avoid them altogether. Update 2: Party Members Throughout the RP, you can get Party members. You can only have tow exploring with you at a time. I control the Party members. Sometimes they will give advice, and each has their own side story, and each has a romance quest, so it is important to switch characters to get different points of views on things. You are standing in front of 4 jedi masters. Zhar, Vrook, Vandar and Dorak. There are a few jedi around you. The jedi masters call for you to listen. Vrook, a human, speaks, "Come jedi. This is what you all need to hear. Malak is embracing the dark side by trying to to take the quick path, the easy path. The dark side lives within us all, but you must ignore it, tame it." A jedi interrupts (it is the Exile, if you have played KOTOR 2), "But masters, is it dark side to help people? Like Malak said, the council serve no one with inaction." Zhar, a yoda green thingy (whatever the species is), speaks up, "Young jedi, the council has not yet formulated a plan. We may be able to avoid any conflict at all." "But letting people die-" "Silence, jedi knight, we have given you our answer. We WILL not be goaded by the Mandalorians. Choose now jedi. Choose between us or Revan. It is not the jedi way to force you, though. We are not Sith." "You sound much like Sith. 'Choose between us or Revan' Only Sith deal in absolutes!" The Exile storms off. "shakes head It is too late for her." (You may begin your adventure by talking to the masters and finding out more of this dilemma. Not particularly intrigued, he tries to decide who to learns under. He looks at Zhar and disregards him. He looks at the jedi, Exile, and thinks to himself, <Hmm...> He thinks carefully about who to choose, not wanting to have a bad training. Thinking again, he takes one last look at the masters and nods to himself. Stepping forward, he bows and says to Dorak, "It would be an honor to learn under you, master." Outside of the academy, Reid looks around. He had heard that there was a sith somewhere, and wanted to find it. Technically, he doesn't actually "look", he uses the force to check his surroundings. He wanted to find the sith to see what it would look like, if it looked different from others of the same species.

Its not like the Sith will do anything while we are present. Maybe with all this light side energy they will be converted." -Reid- "Fellow jedi, please join me in the quest to help people." The (weak) jedi listening to (invincible) Malaks speech, "FOR THE PEOPLE!" "The council serve NONE with inaction." "Aah, we have a newcomer. Would you like to join this wave of people. Be part of something." "AID THE REPUBLIC!" "Not so fast Malak!" "Bastila!" (Strong) Bastila responds, "Malak, I have come to end your little uprising. Now." Note: Side Quest added: Rebel Jedi (remember, this Rp is open ended. You could just walk out right now and leave the whole thing alone.)

After the exile had stormed off, Quint just crosses his arms and looks at the masters. He noticed one jedi talking with one of the master "Zhar. That is your name, correct? I need to become stronger. All I ask is that you train me to do so. I don't want any other talk of none sense between light and dark or anything then else that doesn't have to do with me becoming stronger. If you can not do this, I will ask another. Do not worry about which side I hail, I make my own choices and I'm pretty sure I made the right one. I wouldn't be standing before you if I didn't make the right choice." Quint tells him. (adding a new person if ya don't mind.) Name: Lin Ookima Age: 19 Physical Descriptor: Lin Ookami Personality Descriptor: She is rough and likes to be the top boss. She likes being strong and doesn't need a reason to fight someone. She has a bad temper and can think only about her self at time. though, she does have a good heart. somewhere in her ice cold body. Starting Weapon: Two light sabers. Saber Color: Yellow Lin was waiting out side as she heard two people talk. some one was trying to recruit others it would seem. Having some interest in the matter, she decided to walk over and see what was all the fuse about. "Excuse me for intruding on this conversation, but I here someone is recruiting people? For what is my question." She states placing her hands on her hips and leaning to one side, waiting for an answer.

Dark side brings destruction, it does. What do you wish to know?" -Lin- "Aah, Lin. I am glad to see you. I did not wish to do this alone. This traitor is trying to bring the dark side. Do you remember me, Lin? We trained for a long time, together." said Bastila. "Actually, she trained under me longer." "No, she didn't. We were station-" "Yes she did." ".............." "Yes she-" Bastila struck out with her lightsaber, slicing his mouth, and knocking Malak to the floor. She stared down at his burned mouth, the whole lower jaw was burned off. The jedi looking at Bastila knew what they had to do. "SHE STRUCK OUT IN ANGER!" The battle began.

Looking around, he turns to his new master. Banyog asks, "So what do we do now, Master? And have you seen my sparring partner, Reid?" -Reid- Reid looked at the sith lord. Turning to Bastila, he said, "Well, why the poor choice of character? I mean, just because he's a sith doesn't mean that he's evil." turning to Malak, he added, "I believe that not all sith are evil.
