Figured I'd make this available for comment & response here, so feel free to critique & leave feedback.

Ladies and gentlemen... after twelve years in the roleplaying art known as 'Sparring', I decided to make publicly available my observations, thoughts, and general ideas regarding character vs character forum roleplay. To my fellow Organization XIII members: hopefully you'll find this an enlightening essay from an old timer in the RP arts.

'Very, VERY good. You have euthanised your faithful Companion Cube faster than any other test subject on record. Congratulations.'
This is an incredibly well-written piece of work. A+ (more if possible)!

However, your references to the d20 roleplaying system are kinda inaccurate; tabletop RPGs are a lot more expansive than that old gig.

Apart from that, refer to initial statements. ;)

True; now that my brother has been running a 4th edition campaign I've begun to realize that the game is a bit more "free form" than it's generally assumed to be. Then again, a big part of that is determined by which edition you use (3.5 vs 4th is a world of difference) and how your DM decides to run things. Plus, like you mentioned, there are tabletop RPGs that are, in truth, just as creative and free-form as Sparring & RPing.

Thanks for the comments Tim! 'Your specimen has been processed. The device has been modified.'

Heh heh... *shakes head* Never heard of Palladium? Talislanta? Dungeons and Dragons ain't the only RPG out there, believe me. ;)

Anyways, well done once again.
