"For all intents and purposes," he said aloud over his shoulder, his voice straining with the effort of containing his irritation, "I think you can assume you're dead. Just like the rest of us." He turned his head back to the captains and muttered, "Blasted fool..." under his breath. Turning his attention back to the decision at hand, he analysed each of the beings before him. Whilst they all appeared to be skilled warriors in their own rights, he sensed a personality clash in the making between him and almost every one of them. Those two look like they've taken their morning dose of morphine... and that pair look like they'd rather tear my throat out than train me... hmph... he looks like he'd rather be anywhere but here...

Devi, one of the captains who wears a blue kimono was followed by her squad leaders Lint and Soak who both wear black and white kimonos. Next to them, was one of the higher ranked captains named Lupus who wore a black and orange kimono. He was followed by his two squad leaders Cein, who wore a red and grey kimono, and Eclipse, who wore a blue and white kimono. upon reaching the other captains already there, Lupus glares upon the students with fearsome eyes. "Time is of great importance. If you will not choose now, we will choose for you. You will pick a captain and his or her squad leaders to train you to become a soul reaper. I don't care how you got here, what I do know is your here for a reason. maybe its revenge, maybe its to keep a promise, what ever it may be, you are here and thats what matters. once you select a captain to train you, more will be explained to you." Lupus tells them all as he looks upon each and everyone one of them.

'Someone needs to put that uptight old man in his place,' she thought indignantly, but she chose not to tell him off, because she knew she needed to pick a captain. Ruby was not an expert reader of body language, and she did not need to be to realise that half the captains were giving looks that might as well have been middle fingers in their aggressiveness. In fact, the only two that actually seemed to want to welcome the new students were Choko and Gonto. She didn't have time to make a considered decision, so she just returned a smile to the one dressed in red, as it was her favourite colour, and bobbed a little bow. Had she time to think about her decision, she might have considered that the more aggressive teachers might discipline and train her better, or that the female captain may be more understanding of her, but right now, in this unfamiliar world, all she wanted was a friendly guide. He suddenly leaps to the side and slides across the ground on his feet and stops in front of Kane. "Well now, looks like you gotta pay up there Kane." Gonto tells Kane with smile. Kane just evilly grins upon Gonto and reaches in his pocket, then pulls out some coins and hands it to Gonto. "Heh, as if we would have been picked first." Kane tells him grinning. "I warned you about betting with Gonto. he always seems to win bets." Ein tells Kane while shrugging. "Nice doing business with you Kane. Oh Student of mine, this way please." Gonto shouts to Ruby cheerfully and with a smile as he begins to walk towards the training platforms. His two squad leaders follow close behind him. The other captains wait to be selected. Maybe me father was right when he said I had a bad history with first impressions. oh well." Moving those thoughts aside, Kadent moved closer to the group to get a better view of the captains and their squad leaders. He looked briefly at each of their expressions to figure out who he might prefer as a teacher. Eventually, he just told them, "Erm... decisions like this aren't my strong suit. So I'll let someone choose me." He awaited a reply from anyone who would choose him.

You are a spirit now. for what ever reason, your dead now. You are not what we call an earthling. there for, for any reason, you shall not care for any earthlings. You must not care about the life of a person, but their soul. If they are being attacked by Vilents, and you are already in combat or are over whelmed, you do not rush to save that earthling. Let them be killed and turned into a Viless. before I even explain to you what Vilents and Viless are, you must agree upon this. Earthling lives are nothing to us, but their souls are everything. do you understand this?" Lupus asked his student with a stern voice. Kane grins evilly upon Pizz. "Heh, looks like we got our selves a winner here. Just to let you know, though you are dead, soul reapers can still kill other soul reapers. I hope our strong enough. make no mistake, I WILL kill you if your not strong enough." Kane informs Pizz as Hensa steps in front of Kane to look upon Pizz. "Lets begin then. I wish not to waste time, if any other student wished to follow they can." Hensa tells Pizz and begins to walk towards a training platform. Devi looks at Bently and nods her head as if greeting him. "Welcome, I and my trust worthy squad leaders will be training you. Know that this training wont take very long, but it will be brutal and harsh. I will guide you each and every step of them. Also, failure is not an option. Can you agree to that?" She asked walking towards a different training platform. Gonto was already at the first training platform waiting for his student. he had a smile on his face along with Choko who waited by Ruby. "Are you ready?" Choko asked politely and smiling. Nine was standing next to Gonto. the platforms all had houses with a huge platform that was the training spot. the rest of the captains waited to be selected by Ysaro.

A wild wolf, concealed in a long, flowing robe, the hood hiding his face; the wolf looks forward to find large doors opening ahead of him, the urge to walk through them available to him. He raises his hands to brush his robe off, looking to find others that have already come to see whom they would train under. Few to him looked nervous, as if they would undergo harsh discipline. He would already expect this from any of the present captains that stood idly ahead. His eye caught the attention of one captain, or squad leader, clothed in a red kimono, with an intimidating look on his face. He would join under his wing; yet would rather wait until the others come so Hensa spoke. The wolf folds his arms, the sleeves of the robe rubbing against each other as he stands in the large area with the other recruits, biding his time until the rest of the leaders and, or, captains have arrived.
