That's another Halo 3 matcher in terms of review from said website. I'm still lookin to see if anything on either the 360 or PS3 can actually pass the 9.5 mark, those ratings are generally much tougher to receive. I'm going to assume that the only games with a real shot are Gears 2, Killzone 2, Left 4 Dead, and Fallout 3... For the holiday season anyways. No matter what this has been the strongest holiday term in gaming that I can remember.. really ever. I haven't seen this much hype since Halo 2 and 2005's holiday season (happy to pick it up on it's launch day, my birthday, November the 9th) and even that was nothin compared to the multiple names on multiple consoles making hits right now. I may not be a Resistance fan per say, but I have to give it credit where credit is due, it is a powerful franchise and a driving force behind the Sony brand, and I have to respect a game with that much weight on its shoulders.

I don't see why it needs to be higher. Anything higher and it kind of doesn't matter anymore because it's already so high. Besides games that get 10/10s everywhere usually don't deserve them... The ones Bowie listed are probably going to get higher scores though. I agree that this holiday is a great holiday for gaming. It's just too bad there are too many games to afford. For me at least.

And my bro said he's going to get it when he can. This one looks even better from the clips I've seen (X-Play had a special on R2) So yeah.

Not many games get higher than 9.5 though... Although I think people have been conditioned into thinking anything under a 9 is crap which is simply not true. A game rated in the 7s is still a good game.
