Pretty much it's either get two new games or one new game and two greatest hits... I've come up with a list that I'm interested in... Ratchet and Clank Future Little Big Planet Heavenly Sword Motorstorm Pacific Rift Resistance 2 Metal Gear Solid 4 I think I've narrowed it down to Resistance 2 and Motorstorm, but I don't know... Maybe I should preorder Killzone 2 and wait 3 1/2 months for that instead of Resistance. I've never owned a FPS before so I'd like to start that now. Problem is, it's hard. MotorStorm looks great and I want a racing game, but I'm still not sure. $120 is a lot of money to give up... I also played with the thought of Sonic Unleashed, but... idk. |

I love MNC, but... I only have enough money for two or three games and probably won't get the chance to buy more for a long time. $60 is steep for that, imo. I'm looking for something fresh in which I haven't experienced much before.. I probably will rent MC: LA though.

Sell your body. I have heard that Killzone 2 is going to be a killer for online mode, as it robs a lot of ideas from Halo and Gears. Could be wrong... Anyways, I agree with Nail. Good choices right there. |

Sadly, Neo, I find MGS4 a bit overrated. I always have been a MGS fan but no matter how epic the cut scenes are, the game just felt like more of an interactive movie then an actual game. I mean, I always have been a MGS fan and at first, I thought everybody was overexaggerating about the cut scenes but by the time I beat the game, the amount in there is ridiculous. Anyway, Heavenly Sword is short as hell which is what I heard from critics. I say rent it. LittleBigPlanet.... a must buy. Played it on my cousin's PS3. Loved it. So I recommend it. I never played or paid attention to the MotorStorm series so I can't really comment on those games. Resistance 2. Next to Shadow of the Colossus(completely unrelated but I'm just dying for a sequel), the game has the biggest bosses I ever seen. I seen a couple on X-Play and I look forward for their coverage on "World Premiere Tuesday." Keep hearing it's better then Halo and CoD combined. I say get it. Also, Killzone 2, loved the first on the PS2. But I don't know bout the sequel. Haven't payed attention to it. |

I don't really care about that... If the gameplay's great, the extra long story will make it better. All video games are, are basically interactive movies. I didn't mind the huge cutscenes in MGS2.
Interesting... Can you tell me how fun the story mode was? I don't have internet so I can't download new levels. ![]()
Killzone 2 has the best graphics of any shooter on the new consoles so far. I've played the first one on PS2 and seen videos of the sequel. It's nothing like Halo or Gears. Killzone is realistic, not a alien/monster sci-fi. The thing I like about it is the art direction. It's the only game that immerses you into the battlefield and makes you feel like you're really there. Plus it's the first first person shooter to have a cover system. Although I'm kind of leaning towards Resistance, because I tend to like fantasy over realism. I think I'm definitely leaning towards Motorstorm too. The trailer was awesome and it sounds great. It's kind of like a Burnout Off-Road. |

Ratchet and Clank Future definitely, the only reason why I'd ever buy a PS3 is for that game, I heard it's better then the other 5 Ratchet & Clank games, which is pretty hard to top. Excellent replay value will last for a long time, go for it. |

RACF actually had very little replay value. Its weapon roster is nothing close to what Going Commando had, and Challenge Mode is simply boring after awhile. |

I didn't really try it much, only a level or two, but it was quite fun. If you try to collect every collectible in the story then it should last you quite a while. But if you just want to clear the story without trying to find anything(which by the way, it's more fun to try to find the collectibles in every level. Always finding these hidden paths), it will only last you six hours. Anyway, I think it's lots of fun. |

You only checked cutscenes on You Tube? And you're using that as a basis to throw your wholehearted support behind that game? Now, I know I said that Despair ought to try MGS4 too, but that was just a mere recommendation based on my past experience with MGS games. I personally believe that you can't truly praise a game until you've played it...even if you think you'll love it to death. You could end up being wrong and having to eat your words. It's happened to me before.
That would be...me. Midnight Club 1, 2, 3, and Los Angeles. Top Gear 1 and 2. Rad Racer 1 and 2. Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3, and 4. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, 2, 3, Drift, and Drift 2. Import Tuner Challenge. Pole Position. Outrun 1 and 2. Burnout 3 and Revenge. Micro Machines. Pro-Am. Test Drive 6 and Unlimited. Project Gotham Racing 1, 2, and 3. Forza Motorsport 1 and 2. Need For Speed 1, 2, Hot Pursuit, Hot Pursuit 2, High Stakes, Porsche Unleashed, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, and Pro Street. Rallisport Challenge 1 and 2. Sega Rally 1, 2, and Revo. Daytona USA. Cruisin' USA and World. GRID. DIRT. I have played all of these, in fact I own the vast majority of them, and I give every damn in the world about car games you can think of. I play them constantly and I never get tired of them. Yeah, but don't call the game epic till you've actually played it. That makes you look like the fanboys at Amazon.com who write 5 star reviews on games they're hyped about...and yet the game isn't even out yet. Edited by Nail Strafer, Oct 26 2008, 01:56 PM.

Well... I like MGS, but MGS2 was kind of slow for my tastes. Idk, I liked them but I didn't love them like I do action racers and platformers. Now if I had internet, I'd get Warhawk. I loved Tribes on the PC, and this game is similar to that with turrets, aircraft, and jetpacks. I think I've decided to go with Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Resistance 2. MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, Little Big Planet, and Killzone 2 will have to wait. Although I expect Killzone 2 to be my next game if I don't find a job soon and it turns out that I like Resistance. My most anticipated game right now is Twisted Metal PS3 however. It hasn't been given a date or even shown to the public yet, but just think of the possibilities they can explore on the PS3. Like totally destructible environments(TM: Black only had semi destructible environments like shooting glass out of a window on a building) and what not...
