Underestimate is only a understatement to how low I think of you.. Rai's thoughts blurted as he watched his opponent put on a flashy show before launching an attack that was guided by the sword. Rai made no hesitation to move out of the way of the beam, a side step and it was no longer a problem. "My turn.." He clearly uses water as a bases so fire wouldn't work too well. But I know what will.. Rai clinched his fist cracking his knuckles as he did so. Rai's horns began to crackle and pop with electricity, smoke emitting from Rai's jaws. The sense of something dangerous soon to erupt had arisen. |

Cy-Fox continued to pump the Auto-9's trigger, stepping into the flames, the armor suit's strong alloys holding. If it couldn't puncture Malena's flames with bullets, it would be content with going up to the dragon and strangling, stabbing or simply pounding it into submission. Thermographic Mode - Inversion The reverse of a typical Thermograph appeared, this time showing the flames as the cool color, and Malena as the warm colors, as a normal Thermograph would have blinded it. |

Lunar fell to the ground after Claudio dodged his punch. He looked back and saw him trying to steal the disc. He laughed a little and stood up. "Just so you know, that disc is 100% controlled by my mind." He said as the disc began slowly rising with Claudio still on it. Lunar looked up and the disc immediately shot straight up into the air. As it rose Lunar took deep breaths that calmed him down. The calmer he became the harder the disc became at the cost of dulling the edge. When it stopped rising the disc was completely unbreakable. The disc then flew back down, hitting the ground a few meters in front of Lunar, angled so that the debris would fly away from him. Even if Claudio got off before the impact, it would still send large rocks flying towards the other fighters. |

Claudio teetered and flailed around on the disk as it wobbled under the sudden downward force of his own weight. But no sooner was he able to regain his balance was he slammed on his belly when it began to ascend. A sigh of aggravation left him as inertia saw the bird sliding off, but he caught the dulled edge with his hands and just hung on for the ride. "I'll finally answer the question: this trip is really not necessary!... Ooh!" It began to descend, straight in front of Lunar no less. Frowning, he threw his legs around to the bottom of board, allowing his tails to catch its front. Another good swing had him back on the board. But at this point, he had no time to really think of a cool counter with the ground drawing ever so nearer, so he did the smart thing and jumped ship. But not only did he potentially avoid a body slam with enough power backing it to send him to the earth's core, but he was headed right over Lunar's head, forming a few blasts in the meantime..... |

Pfft.. This should stop him in his tracks. Just in case, he had a backup plan ready to use. Wary of his opponents sparking electric horns, he grimaced at what they could do to him. |

[Let's spice this up a little ^^] The hooded human atop the balcony was bored. Sure, he was being slightly entertained by the comedy beneath him, but he wanted to be on the edge of his seat, dammit! Standing up, he walked to the balcony's edge before looking up towards the skies and raising a clenched fist. Shaking his hand slightly, he then opened it as fully as he could. Without warning, a monsoon appeared - in other words, the most torrential type of rainfall you could imagine. The wind howled, the water poured from the skies. This would only be a sudden downpour but MAN it'd be enough to mix things up a little.

Fire was extinguished with a powerful monsoon appeared above their heads. The dragon already in deep trouble, would now have to be forced to battle without her flaming breathe. Though the machine could be seen approaching what would state as the searing flames. Her skin felt all wet and noticed the battle raged on with each contester like if they had proven to tangle alone until the last breathe would be taken away. She knew time was a matter of fact before the fox would turn into her grasp and probably use it's strenght to choke her to deat or by obliterate take her down by other methods. Though the gun stayed as her biggest problem. Would it be released it could blast her head into flesh wound making her crash into the surface without any vital life sign left. This wouldn not be acepted. While still standing firm on the ground even if her wings could be used to serve her most advantage position above. Though she flicked her position and sent her tail snatching towards the robot with haste to thrust it with power sending it forth the ground able to connect with the unfraid machine. It might atleast turn him into a slight challenge by approaching her, she would be ready to use it if her first move would failure. Her wings spread out, ready to step into the air, while alas tryed to focus on the surroundings since anyone could suddenly use their wits to smash into another foe even if they had picked their favord rival to battle before spreading out with his fierce clenching fists and weapons able to shunt, or slay whatever would stand in their way. Though each contestent standed firm battling it out, and the dragon wouldn't just leave the machine playing around since her size might be useful and if she could just protect her head from any fire from his blasted gun, there would be slight chance to change what stayed as her lack of concentration from the battle was engaged. |

The down pour of rain made the electricity on Rai's horns seep into the water that was developing on the arena floor. The pick up of winds made his nostrils flare with fresh chilling sky air. The beam that was revived and reaimed toward Rai from behind was thwarted by the winds he surrounded himself with earlier. That sneak! Rai's eyes glared at Sebastian, he hated sneaks and sneak attacks. He was going to make this hedgehog die for that. Rai got down on all fours, his claws gripping onto the ground. Rawr! He was pushed back, his claws keeping him nailed to the floor. The beam was launched forward full force toward Sebastian. |

The winds howled atop the stone and marble balcony, aged by centuries of overseeing tournaments such as this. The dark overfiend watched, the fierce gusts tugging at the hood; willing it to come down - yet with some strange resistance it remained atop his head. He cast his gaze across the battlefield, watching and waiting for the opportune moment to... There. Holding out his right hand once more, he glanced downwards towards the one figure that caught his attention... The robotic figure, the born-again Miles "Tails" Prower... transported from a future timeline whereby the furball had been critically injured in the line of duty, and had been transformed into RoboCop 2. Cy-Fox. Palm facing up - rainwater splashing off the leather stretched out across his hand - the hooded one thought up a suitable punishment. Lightning would hurt everyone in these harsh conditions. He smiled before clicking his fingers. Without any warning or notice, an earthquake would hit the arena - focussed on the spot where the Cy-Fox stood. The ground crumbled beneath the heavy robot's mass and opened up a gaping hole, way too big and deep to be avoided. The future RoboCop fell down, disappearing from sight and soon he fell so deep that his screams were unable to be heard, not even in an echoing form. The hole in the ground would remain there for the remainder; he wanted to see if anyone else would use it. Throwing his head back the stranger laughed a most evil laugh; this was becoming fun!

In his now calm state, Lunar considered sight to be a handicap and closed his eyes, fighting only with his Eclipse Sense and his hearing. He smiled a little when the hole opened beneath Cyfox. It had eliminated an enemy, given him a new way to deal with people, and made an opening for his next attack all at once. The Full Moon Disc had been driven deep under ground by it's previous impact. The hole allowed it quickly return to the surface. When it came up, the pressure from being underground and the friction of forcing through rocks had heated the disc and it was glowing orange. Lunar's calm mood prevented the disc from melting or breaking from this stress. As it flew the rain turned to steam as it hit it. Lunar sent it straight at Claudio, intending to pin him against a wall and burn him to a point where he can't fight. |

[I do indeed have a post ready. XP Major apologies for the wait, everyone] Immediately after Claudio landed on his feet, he was nearly pushed over by relentless monsoons. Oh, what the Hell, God?!-- Oop.... Sorry. But You know me. And He knew he couldn't take the rain. It rendered his movements sluggish and unpredictable from the slippery ground and the practical reservoirs his plumage and clothing had become. There was also an element of self-consciousness to note. Sure, he was a good-looking fellow, but his currently drowned and ratty appearance dispelled any charm he may have possessed. And then on top of that, another challenger was mysteriously removed from play, free-falling to a demise he could feel would not be forgiving. The removal of automatic weaponry bettered his chances, but he couldn't say he was particularly happy that it happened to a living being... again. "Just fan-effing-tastic... What the?" Inside of the muddled blue of his surroundings, he eyed what appeared to be a floating stream coming towards him. Too frantic to discern it, he threw one of the lingering blasts in its direction. Being that it went against the flow of wind, it wasn't fast enough to destroy the vehicle, but knocking it off course was just as satisfactory. Claudio then decided that it was finally time to start playing the wolf's game, backing away to disappear inside of the gloomy weather. He dropped his goggles over his eyes and wiped the water away that was distorting Lunar's image. It actually worked! The rain and winds provided ample ambiance on their own for him to see everything around him plain as day, and the wolf was now a sitting duck. To start his ambush, his hand began to glow red in preparation for the perfect maneuver: Desolation. |

The tail swiped that would force against the machine, but there was little resistance and nothing to bare against it's force. She quickly grabbed the attention back only to see the fox dissapearing like a struck of lightning made him vanish in the thin air. At the moment she felt the urge to find someone to battle it out with, though since each one stayed focused on each another rival, this would be her moment to balance her clumsy beginning. Though with her fire extinguished, as water spread through her skin and finaly meeting the ground splashing around the surface leaving a small pile of water all over the arena. Her attention turned against the cyan colored hedgehog sending forth waves with joy like the water helped him in some matter. She turned her head slightly and morned she would have little to come up with against more water at this moment. What could a dragon do in such a situation. She actually felt that there would be a moment staying such small had it's benefits. Even if her agility would surpass most large animals, there would be a sertain limit she could avoid attacks and if not that sudden demolition of that robot standing ready to fire almost immune to her fire, she could easily have been taken out by a bullet filled with enough energy. She would not leave this moment out of her advantage. She stepped forth and pushed her self into the air. Even the rain wouldn't stop her from staying above planning forth her devious act following the other battle combatants actions until she would find a moment of taking action rather then anticipate. There was no fire, and she couldn't breate down her fire making the enviroment suiting her, instead she had to focus on her most reliable ability by curling her self into a giant ball. Though she knew her focus might create a failure and that would caught their attention as if they would team up against the massive and brutal female still hoovering above her rivals at this moment. She would take a chance by picking Lunar and Claudio as her targets ahead. At the moment she dodged the invicible wall she turned her attention towards the battle field. And now dived forth with haste and few seconds later she turned her self into the majestic ball since it stayed huge like a medium sized rock. The moment falled onto her, this would be her oppertunity to make her surprise. Finaly in range, this would be a mere 50% chance she would hit anyone of them. Her rear legs left straight downwards, leaving her tail snapped straight down towards the ground while her front feet would pierce towards their heads if they desided to jump above her sweeping tail snatching towards the ground. |

Then I'll edit this. (Took too long) The earth tore open in the Arena under the fox and another opponent was down and out. Although this was an interesting sight it wasn't very fun for the contestants to be eliminated by natural disasters. Damnit.. Electricity beats water, but Sebastian was unaffected by that highly concentrated blast Rai unleashed. This put him on edge, mainly pissing him off, and now the hedgehog was placed into his element and was unleashing waves directly at him. "Grr..." Rai stood his ground only capable of bracing himself before the waves slammed into him. Wave after wave soon enough he was drenched and almost submerged in H2o. Ryah! He was being pummeld by the constant waves. However, coughing up water, he was still standing. A large wave, maybe the final blow, was coming. This one was sure to knock him off his feet and swallow him into the tremor that was still open for contestants to fall in. He waved his arms once forward and the wave that would be the end froze in it's place allowing him time to rocket himself into the air, wings for added support. Now he was flying out of reach of the waves, safe for now. |

Belatedly, here are the scores. Please be warned I am MUCH harsher than the other judges, but I would like to think that I've justified the scores I've awarded. Here are the results, posted in the order you appeared in the fight: Bliz Fair Play: No complaints here but it felt more like compliance with the rules as opposed to going out of your way to be a nice guy. I suspect that's more in part to the character you're portraying, because he does strike me as a wise-arse  8/10Grammar: This is the level that people should aim for - either you used a spell-checker or you're naturally good. I'll go with the second one. My only moan here is that personally, I felt your first two posts could have been broken down a little more to aid ease of reading. It's a fault with my own writing. 10/10 Adapting To Surroundings: Hehe, awesome use of the goggles there, nicely spotted that the winds and rain would bug you. 10/10 Entertainment: Once you'd gotten into the swing of things, I felt myself willing Claudio to push himself harder. A shame that - as mentioned earlier - your first post or two felt drawn out and bogged down my reading. 9/10 Total: 37/40 - a good score, reflecting a good solid performance - but that's about all I can really say if I'm honest. Can anyone else beat it? Seb Fair Play: Well, you managed to completely ignore the fact that someone blasted an attack at you. Not godding as such, but hardly sporting. Other than that, a little heavy-handed here and there. At this level it's not acceptable 5/10Grammar: I have no bad things to say here other than maybe towards the end, your posts felt too strung out as in you broke it up into too many paragraphs, but it DID help me read things easier. Also a couple of errors snuck in here and there, but apart from that? Nice one. 9/10 Adapting To Surroundings: My, you took full advantage of that didn't you?  A shame you didn't notice the fact it was a monsoon - extreme winds, water getting into places you don't want it to go, that kinda thing. But you DID notice, so I credit you as such. 7.5/10Entertainment: The most fun posts out of everyone, your posts really conveyed a point - that being that your character was enjoying himself. I felt that, and you expressed it into a style that got me laughing. 10/10 Total: 31.5/40 - Aside from the fair play, you performed brilliantly. It's no wonder people said that you were the best roleplayer here before I turned up. A little work on your part and you can reclaim that title, I mean that. But you'll have to fight me for it DF Fair Play: Easily the fairest player in this fight - when the monsoons died down your flames were still extinguished? You didn't force a thing, and gave ample opportunity for attacks to be avoided. What more can I say? 10/10 Grammar: Taking into account that English is not your first language, you still manage to put across an ability that you know what you wish to say. You may say it slightly differently to everyone else, but you get there in the end. A few spelling errors, but again we know English isn't your first language so you're not being majorly marked down for it. 8/10 Adapting To Surroundings: See Fair Play, but basically after the rain died down you still acknowledged that there was water around. You were buffeted, you were soaked. Again, 10/10 Entertainment: Whilst not quite in Seb's league, I felt that we were in an epic quest to - instead of kill the dragon - help the dragon overcome its mighty struggle to complete this final fight. Despite English not being your first language, you put across a grand scene fit for a Battle Royale. 9/10 Total: 37/40 - :o hands up if you saw THAT coming? I didn't! Rai Fair Play: Pretty much the same as Bliz, even taking into account your electric attack went wrong. 8/10 Grammar: Mostly good, but still errors crept in even with posts you'd corrected. An interesting touch with quoting the opponent attacking you, it helped a little amidst this hectic fight. But generally, room for improvement. 7/10 Adapting To Surroundings: Nice trick with the electricity. I thought that was cool, the turn after maybe you should have noticed the water hadn't magically evaporated and thus would still conduct your electric... 8/10 Entertainment: Was good fun to read initially - awesome intro - but after the first two I had to force myself to read your posts. Maybe on a personal level I didn't like it somewhere, but I can't put a finger on it. On the plus side, I didn't think it was shockingly awful to the point where I'd have to slap you. 8/10 Total: 31/40 - Bear in mind I'm stricter than DF and Spin. You're good kid, real good. But you have room for improvement - well we all do, I guess. Lunar Fair Play: Same as Bliz and Rai. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing bad. 8/10 Grammar: Couple of errors here and there, and the HUGE chunk of text was off-putting to say the least. 8/10 Adapting To Surroundings: Completely ignored the freak weather conditions, but did utilise the hole in the ground to recover your weapon quickly. That aside, you should have noticed the nasty rain, man :o 2/10 Entertainment: The psychic powers you employed were certainly different enough to keep me reading, but was I excited? Well you threw Claudio into the air quite badly 9/10Total: 27/40 - Better luck next time, dude So, in reverse order now: 5. Lunar - 27 4. Rai - 31 3. Seb - 31.5 1= DF 1= Bliz Wow... erm, didn't expect a draw... I shall get back to you two shortly on what's going on because I didn't expect this. Meanwhile DF and Spin, you may judge the final fights now. A shame there has to be losers, and I congratulate each of you for taking part in this very special and unique event. |
