I'm back!

A cloudy sky loomed overhead, blocking out the usually present sun. A slight breeze flowed around the slightly larger-than-normal arena, to accommodate the presence of more competitors. This fight was special; a one-off Battle Royale to determine who would take Quartz's seeded position in the next tournament - this one had proved so successful, it was a formality that there would be a sequel. Atop a balcony overlooking the arena, a shadowy figure stepped out to the applause of the waiting masses. Holding out his hands, he silenced the crowd before leaning forwards, gripping the railing tightly. He was a human no less, standing fully six feet tall and wearing what could only be described as an Organization XIII coat. But the hood remained up; it could be anyone within that dark and fearsome group. "Mortals!" he cried out, to gain everyone's attention. "This is the special fight you have been awaiting patiently, the one that will determine the final position amongst the elite of Sonic Blast's prestigious roleplaying elite." As he waved a hand outwards, seven doors began to force their way upwards through the concrete arena floor, the place shaking with the sheer force being exerted by the doors as they travelled upwards. Eventually the doors settled and the vibrations stopped. "Lunar The Wolf! Miles The Cy-Fox! DragonFlame! Sebastian The Hedgehog! BlizShadow! Rai! LilSonic3089! The time has come to stake your claim amongst that elite group. Come forth with your challengers, and may the best player win." And with that the human leaned back again and got comfortable, waiting to see who would appear first. |

Kiyel was the first to appear in the center on the area. He dashes out the door but suddenly vanished into the air to only appear in the center with his arms crossed and eyes closed, listening to thw wind speak to him. Kiyel was ready and waiting. he had already started to charge his sneak attack, not going easy or holding back as he did going against Quartz. He was ready, and would not lighten up on anyone who dared to attack him first. |

Well, if he wasn't to be the first, who else would show up second but other than that particularly adorable bird with a penchant for showing off?... A quirk that strangely did not make itself present from his unusually stoic demeanor. Claudio walked out to the arbitrary cheer of thousands and even winked or pointed at the spare few who actually called his name, yet the thunderous applause did not move him like it normally would have. Claude remembered well the consequences of his overestimation the last time he found himself in this situation. And how he was chosen for such an elite function was about as logical a decision as pouring a glass of water while standing in a lake. But he did not fret too much. He knew the stomach-churning nervousness would give him the adrenaline and caution he needed to do better. He simply took his place by Kiyel and waited patiently.... |

Sebastian was third. "Would've preferred first... But, take what I can get." He laughed to himself. Drawing his blade, and taking out an Ultra Emerald, he walked out, the crowd cheering. He threw the emerald in the air, then caught it before rolling it around in his hand. He slammed it into the space on his arm, the lights blinking and powering up. He grinned and water splashed up everywhere, in fountain form. He stood in a battle pose, creating a wicked entrance. Suddenly, an official ran out, and whispered something in his ear. Sebastian sighed, pulled the emerald out, and tossed it into the sky. Zack flew over him, catching it and went back into the stands. "That sure as hell killed my entrance..." He muttered. |

The crowd finaly ended shouting when the dungeon door opend from the east side. It stayed silent through the masses while watching the dragon make it's entrance once more. What caused the last battlefield into a rather huge mess with fire unleashing all over it, that place have been closed because of the damage it caught. She looked upon the crowds as if she wanted somone to shout her name, though there wasn't even a single word about dragon in their mouth. She desided to spit out some fire towards the air, and it managed to caught most of the crowd's attention as it left the surrounding area. Though maybe of fear as if the flame would return and scource the stands taking them along with a powerful explosive blast. It was then she noticed the participants standing in one line. she had lost to one two legged female by choosing the wrong desicion. She wouldn't fall into anyone's wrath to easy. She just heads right in front of them since she preferred staying in her own line. Though respected each combatant even if her size ment anything else. |

"Looks like losing in the first round wasn't so bad after all!" A spiraling creature plummeted down from above. It was Rai, a toothy grin on his face as he hurtled downward. He was incased in a spiral of cloud and wind which he took with him from above. He landed rather roughly on the edge of the arena a gust of air breezing everyone. "Now I can have some REAL fun!" The crowd began their gasps and ooohs after Rai made his flashy entrance. Not coming from a door but from the sky, that was interesting right? Although that was not Rai's intention at all, he just likes coming down from the sky its easier to him. The crowd chanted his name once they were capable of figuring out who he was. The last battle he had was surely somthing to get him some attention. "..Why're they calling my name? SHUTUP!!" He probably couldn't be heard over all the noise. So he simply looked over at the other contestants. There was Kiyel who had a bit of a strange smell to him but he would ignore it for now. Then there Claude a bird thing, didn't seem too much of a threat less he could fly as well THAT would be interesting. Then there was Sebastian not much to say... And finally there was the massive Dragon. Now that seemed to spice the battle up exponentially. He finally raised his chin to look at Quartz (least who he thought was Quartz.. He never actualy saw'em) sitting high and pretty, boy would he have loved to smoke'em down with a fireball. After viewing his opponents and the arena his grin returned full force this was gunna be fun! (Edited for grammar and such) |

Back to basics

A black and white Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor all the sudden could be seen ramping over one of the walls, arcing in the air and then hitting the arena floor at full force, causing the engine to explode and the car's hulk to flip over several times. Then the charred passenger side door, with the chipped painted logo of OCP Security Concepts was pushed open, and dropped to the ground. A metal foot crushed it deeper into the ground, and a metal hand grasped the car's body as the new combatant stepped out. It was gunmetal gray and blue RoboCop-class cyborg fox that was the remains of Miles "Tails" Prower, now known as Cy-Fox. A tactical shotgun was magnetically locked to his back, and a large black machine pistol of was in one hand. As he came out of his wreck, tactical scans were already underway. 5 potential hostile combatants. Lethal force allowable List Prime Directives 1 - Serve the Public Trust 2 - Protect the Innocent 3 - Uphold the Law |

Lunar flew over the arena on his Full Moon Flying Disc. He had the disc slash through parts of the cloud causing them to part slightly, forming a giant "L" with the light from the sun above making the audience stare curiously. He flew at high speed towards where the others were standing in the arena and suddenly stopped a foot from the ground. He stepped off his disc, looked at the crowd, and smiled. He pointed at the clouds and his disc flew up and formed the rest of his name and underlined it, making the crowd cheer like crazy. The disc came down and floated next to him spinning extremely fast, a reflection of Lunar's excitement. He looked over at the other contestants. "Always save the best entrance for last." He said. |

Everyone was now present and ready to fight. The dark figure clicked his fingers. The area immediately darkened as the clouds got extremely dark; almost black in colour. And at the top of all this, there looked to be a tornado high in the clouds. It didn't go anywhere near the ground, instead looking like a whirlpool travelling towards the stars. It did create a bit of a breeze however, which wouldn't cause any dust clouds to form but would certainly feel a little chilly and tug at loose clothing and items. "You have all made it, without exception," the voice boomed out once more. He clapped his hands. "I now declare this Battle Royale open - FIGHT!" he yelled, throwing his arms out to emphasise the point. |

The posts made by judges don't count as far as the rules are concerned, to apply the 2 day rule we have to count back to Lunar's post, made May 4 2008, 07:23 AM... by my reckoning, lilsonic is out  sorry dude, time to remove you. Any objections, ask in the usual thread.]From deep within the black cloud, a flash of light could be seen. This flash streaked its way downwards, striking Kiyel and illuminating his skeletal form brilliantly amidst the darkened backdrop. Instantly, the echidna was vaporized, leaving nothing but a small pile of ash that drifted off in the gentle breeze. The human atop the balcony shook his head - it wasn't nice, but it had to be done. For the greater good, it had to be done. |

In mid quickstep, Claudio froze as he felt a sudden, uncomfortable heat against his back. A glance at the mysterious flash that lit up the land immediately transitioned into pure dust that... he could've sworn was a fighter just a few moments ago!.... If it could, his lower jaw would've pulled a Daffy when it dropped. Oh, so now God's in on this thing, too?!...... Egh, tough luck for you, bird. Deciding that swifter action would save his skin from considerably random divine intervention, he glanced at his remaining opponents. He finally saw that Sebastian was there, retching a little before deciding it just might be a smart idea to save him for later. Instead, he'd go for the weakest of the bunch, assuming that it wasn't him taking that honor. Lessee, lessee, ummm... Okay, he has guns... Guns are bad for the soul... umm, hmmm... that girl over yonder is... a dragon... So's he.... Wait, that other guy! He turned, looking in Lunar's direction as his lips slowly stretched to make way for a devilish grin. A lone palm opened at his side, the fingers twitching as they began to encase the thin blue energy above them in a fully-formed ball. Not relying on a cliche' verbal cue to give himself away, Claude just took a few steps back and cupped his free hand over the ball. He stretched a little before narrowing his eyes for several moments at the invisible cues behind his target, spitting to the side and growling as he kicked up a little dust. His directions were clear. A fast ball. A lean back, a quick wind up of the arm, and the blast was fired off! |

Sebastian stared, his mouth gaping at the pile of dust. He nearly fainted. OH MY GOD I AM SO DEAD! He silently screamed to himself. Putting on a confident look, and trying to hide his incredible fear and nervousness. He examined the competition. Claudio... He could be tough.. Hmm, I don't think taking him out first would be wise. I'll save him for later. He examined Lunar. I can see the headlines now, Hedgehog tangles with wolf, Hedgehog's bloody remains the only thing found. No thank you, I'll let someone else take care of him. He saw the dragon. OKAY, WHAT THE HELL!? GIMME A BREAK! He grimaced at the thought of fighting that thing. No wonder Rachel beat me... He looked to Rai. Let's try him out. Slinging his blade over his shoulder, he grinned, the sun reflecting off of his black and white sword. "Well... let's get this fun started!" He disappeared as a first move, hoping no one could track his movements. I'm screwed if they can. At the speed he was moving, Claudio's attack moved in slow motion. He grinned. So, the bird was going to fight the wolf? Interesting. Appearing behind Rai, he shot a swift kick towards his back. |

At the moment the speaker announce the battle have begun. Movement from each member seemed to hasty get an advantage of the battle field. Malena stayed slow to react towards the battle signal. The dragon manages to step wrong leaving her left front foot tumble until she manages to controle the major fall that could turn her battle into failure. "Have to concentrate." She thought while she motioned every opponent once more quickly to pick out someone to strangle with. The robot would be a problem since guns stayed as he worst enemy except water. She sent forth her claws into ground making a mark while sending smoke out from her nose looking towards the robot. She didn't hesitate one second. She unleashed a fire flare from her mouth right towards Cy-Fox. "Taste this." She thought it would be fine just beginning agressive since she faired a loos by choosing the cowardly way by using defense as he first motive challenge Rachel within her last fight. |

A bolt of lightning from the heavens and one of the fighters was gone just like that.. Rai was soon aware of the seriousness of this battle. And the more he came to realize it.. The more his grinn grew and his heart pumped with adrenaline fueling blood.. He was now psyched up! The battle began, energy balls flying and fire breathing. But where was that other guy.. Argh! Rai was kicked in the back. He was slightly taken be surprise, but this was to be expected and at least he was getting some attention. He turned midair gripping onto the ground with his claws making himself skit to a halt. "So I fight you... Pitty." Rai analyzed his opponent. Keeping track of details of him within his head for when he got into the depth of battle. Speed and a sword.. Hmph this'll be easy.. The crown horned Dragon charged up a spiral of wind. He was taking a defensive measure for now. (Edited for grammar and crap) |

Warning - Core temperature increase detected. Threat vector seems low TACTICAL MODE Cy-Fox slowly raised its pistol laden arm, as the flames swept over him. This didn't seem so bad. His predecessor had a gas station explode around him with him in the center. Lime green crosshairs appeared in his ocular coretexes as he lined them up against the source of the flames. Computing..Fire path would hit target in mouth. Penetration to the brain likely, Acceptable lethal shot He then began to pump the trigger of his Auto-9. |

"Well that was easy." Lunar said after Kiyel was vaporized. He looked at each opponents and judged their strengths with his Eclipse Senses. "That guy looks like he'll be fun" He thought while looking at Sebastian. He was about to attack but Claudio energy ball caught him by surprise. He tried to react, but it hit him in the side of the face and he fell. His disc flew under him and lifted him off the ground. He stood up and felt the bad burn that was left on his cheek. "That would probably hurt if I could feel pain." He said. The disc backed away then flew at Claudio. It launched Lunar at him and went to punch him in the gut, while the disc flew behind him to slash into his back. |

A satisfied grunt left the lungs. He scored a direct hit! But it didn't seem right that Lunar had gotten up, practically unaffected by one of his blasts, and in the face no less! Claude just might have miscalculated... again. But it would be a bad time for his any of his bubbling doubts to surface, especially when confronted with such an attack as ludicrously obvious as his. It put some confidence back in his little feathery soul, and Claude smiled. "Alright, then..." Swiftly launching off with his legs and feathers, Lunar's punch sailed clean under his turning form as it now lay stranded in a back flip. As he began to complete the rotation, a leg emerged, aiming to land back down on either one of two things: the possibly soon-to-be hijacked flying disk to have a ride, or back on the ground to catch Lunar if the speeding disk missed him as well.... |

Sebastian landed, his sword in hand. "Shall we?" He laughed, pointing the blade at his opponent. It glowed purple. "Just hope you didn't underestimate me." Water came up in small jets from the ground as Sebastian's sword continued to glow, an ultraviolet beam shot at his opponent. If this connected, he would have full control of his opponent. "Perfect." He said, portraying no emotion. |

((If there is a problem that i made the bullet sent out from your Auto gun Miles, then i shall try and change that as soon i can.)) The fire blocked her sight. Though as soon an explosion occured it would seem like the robot wasn't affected by the fire. "darn!" She snapped knowing her time would be fragile before any counter move would be sent towards the dragon's head since they would probably have sensors able to strike at the most weakest point, like from were her fire was unleashed from. She had to move, when her ears managed to find a similar sound worried her of what might be sent from the Auto 9. "darn it." She snapped once more, concentrating on avoiding the shot before it would be relased. In the moment she started to sweep towards her right. Fire was released from the gun sending it straight towards her head. What would be her options since the bullet would reach her before able to avoid getting hit. She would have to try and melt the bullet on it's way even if it would be a risk since if this wouldn't last, then she would be blasted and her head would be crushed by it's force. She sent forth her flaming breathe straight towards were she thought the bullet would appear from. This would be it. She had no chance to try and attack the machine, and would only try and avoid getting blasted after the first counter move. Hopefully the bullet wasn't heat proofed and maybe would explode making a minor impact towards her, though it wouldn't immidiate take any major damage like death. |
