Cable just smirks at the new comer who stood next to Frost. "I wouldn't be so quick to think I'm some normal human. I'm actually part spirit. I was created this way, and not birthed like the rest of you. so why don't you explain what the hell is going on here now. The quicker we get answers, the quicker we can deal with this little ghost problem." Cable tells him while sticking a cigarette in is mouth. "what he means is, we are special forces that deal with evil spirits and other things such as this. We all have some form of spirit power. It could be as simple as wearing a spirit glove like Tex wears, or being made up of spirit sand like Cable is. So, tell us whats going on. I'll fill you in on what I know. I know what ever this spirit is, it targets only males. Cable on the other hand can't feel much of its effect because he isn't very much normal or human. so, anything else I need to know about?" Saber tells Frost and his crew of friends while hoping to answer Maverick's question what what was going on. |

"We are not a mere mortal being at all yet we are still cursed." Aervic's expression remained the same. "You all are skillful warriors, yes but that does not mean you are not in danger." Aervic floats above ground and begins leaving the area. "Remain here if you will but do not say we did not warn you." "What's all this stuff about a curse?" Levi wondered, confused and partially uneasy. "With that thing passing through us like that, we've all been cursed." said Frost. As he issued his thinly veiled threat, he let his rifle, what appeared to be a slightly modified Remington 700, hang free. It didn't look much like a weapon with potency on the spiritual level, but appearances could be deceiving. |

"Take it easy," the white hedgehog said to Taylor. "There's no need in getting into any fight when we already got stuff on the line." He looks to see Levi already following the red hedgehog. "Believe me people, we can trust the hedgehog. He may seem a little bit uh... off right now but at least I know him well enough to trust him." Just then the air around then begins to cool. Around their feet, a bed of fog forms, thickens then begins to rise. They had lost the distant sight of Aervic and Levi while the fog continues to thicken. |

"Oh great, the old fog trick. that never gets old." Cable states walking to the group. Still viewing them with his spirit eye, even the fog couldn't blind his spirit eye from seeing them and their names. "If you wish to survive this, then we need to at least know where everyone is all the time. Stay togetehr" Tex suddenly states coming back form where he went. Saber nods as in thats a good idea. "I'll be everyone's eyes." Cable adds as he looks around and tries to spot the score of this sudden fog. |

Although everyone mentions something about how the spirit reacts to certain people and whether a curse is involved, the rat steps up and tramples on the ground, angered by the spirits choosing. "Wait-wait-wait, hold on. It only goes after guys? Guys? Are you serious?? What the hell for!? Is it the strength, the blood, the information...or that curse that other guy mentioned or something?? Seriously, clue me in, or I start walking and dealing with this matter on my own, my way." He takes a step forward and points his right thumb towards his chest, baring his teeth in intimidation and some confusion. |

"If I had to guess, I'd guess we've the spirit of a succubus or something along those lines. Especially if this is connected to the previous disappearances," he said. How thick can this fog get, though? He wondered silently. |

The fog switches from blackness to normal, like a the flash from a camera in the eyes of the males. Apparently getting into their minds, toying with them. Their view blur just slightly but not all at the same time. The fog dies downThey notice the white hedgehog, Frost almost stumbling into the ground. "Jeez... Guys I'm getting out of this forest. That did not feel good." Frost held his head, shaking it as well. He looked over to the rest of the group. Behind Cable, Frost notinced a strange figure, set upon a branch staring the hedgehog down. "You." he said to Tex, noting his ability. "Closest tree to your left on that branch. What do you make of it?" with a masked with the same symbol drawn just in the middle of the plate. It's arms and legs were disturbingly slim and looked rotten. It wore black rags, that cover the lower torso and one that covered half of the mid area. It appearently features as a male. |

Cable hears frost talking about him not feeling good as Tex just held his head and tighten his fist. "This is becoming rather annoying. I can't see a dam thing." Saber states crossing her arms. Tex, Cable, and Saber soon hear Frost telling them to look upon a branch. "Cable, tell me what you see. your the one with the spirit eye." Tex orders with his eyes closed and fist tighten. Cable turns around and looks upon the male spirit like being. "Well, looks like we might have found our spirit after all." Cable tells him. "Hey, freak on the branch. whats your deal anyways? Are you gonna come down nicely, or do I have I to come up there for a smoke. Not sure if you even smoke." Cable tells it as he stares upon it. |

Great. Now I've become a ghost. Goddamn it. Maverick sighs angrily as no one still has not answered his questions; even Taylor's attempt to calm him down had little effect on him. Feeling on the mechanical arm, he switches over to fire-based shells; if he cannot hurt the spiritual, the least he can do is to smoke it out...if it is just one. His attention turns towards the new crew, the woman taunting towards a tree to the left, the nearest one. The rat switches vision to white heat, once more, picking up a faint signla of someone perched on a branch above, extra heat here and there. "...The hell?? What is...??" |
