"Heey, if it ain't the gunslinger!" Maverick refers to Levi as he tilts his head towards the teal hedgehog. Turning around to Hiss, he then introduces himself: "Fox, Maverick." He did not need to tell them his occupation for a reason; when Levi mentions about something bad, or good, at that matter, he turns to the 'hog and waits to see what he says, rubbing his left arm. |

(I'd like to join.) Suddenly a loud noise of a powerful engine roared form above. some type of air craft had zipped right above them. It was like none they have seen before. The side door of the aircraft slides open and three ropes where thrown down towards the ground, hanging from the aircraft. Three figures leap out from the opened door and slides down the ropes at a fast pace. The three figures could land and make their appearance as a male feline named Tex, an odd looking male human named Cable, and a female human named Saber. On the side of the aircraft were the words Spirit Squad with a strange symbol for a logo. Once the trio touched down and dashed forward some, Tex spoke into a com link which was on his left wrist. The aircraft's engine roared some more and zips away into the distance. For being very close to the group that was only a few feet away from them, the team simply ignored them, as if they didn't just leap out of an aircraft. "Cable, find it quickly before it moves again." Tex, who seemed to be the leader, ordered while keeping his focus on his surrounding. Cable simply nods and closed his eye with out the eye patch on it. He then removed his eye patch to reveal an strange and not human eye. Saber fixes her hair and pats it down from being blown about by the aircraft's gust of wind. "Anything?" She asked joining Cables side. Cable begins to scan the area, he even looks towards the group to the right of of them. "Besides seeing every ones name in that group, I don't see our dark spirit friend." Cable replies as he keeps scanning. "Keep looking, its hiding here somewhere." Tex demands. |

Levi looks to see the group that were dropped off by a helicopter. Just looking at the three told him that they were there because of disappearances or whatever the cause was. He wondered who they were however and what they were doing. "Bounty Hunters?" he said, checking the group's features. "Agents... or something I've probably never heard of," Frost added to Levi's guess. "Maybe they know something. Think we should keep an eye on them?" A nod of the teal-green hedgehog's head was the response. Just then the presence of the strange spirit had appeared but not in sight of the group. No one seemed to have been able to see it. When it did it had passed through each person present within the area except Saber. Each had felt the piercing cold feeling inside their bodies. The spirit seemed to have been still in the area however, slowly retreating away from the group. (PM me if you have any questions to ask me.) |

Taylor didn't say a word. Odd happenings tended to draw odd crowds, that was Taylor's experience. "Holy... Did you guys just feel that? Damn, felt like some Rimewinder pegged me," Taylor said, with a shiver. What the hell was that? If asked about what a "Rimewinder" was; he'd say it was a kind of snake that thrived in cold environs, like the area around a town further north called Rimewind. |

Tex suddenly tightens his fist in repsonse to the suddenly chill that ran across him. "Heh, he didn't think I'd see that. I got a trace on him Tex. My spirit eye is picking up small spiritual movement towards that direction. and judging by this strong spirit feeling in the air, I'd say its retreating. then again, it could be setting us up for a trap." Cable tells Tex while the gripping chill didn't catch onto him. "This is more then just a simply hunt now. It knows we're here because I just felt a sudden cold chill IN me, not ON me." Tex tells them as he scans the area more. "I felt nothing. which means its only targeted males for some reason. Which is why I can see I was asked to go on this mission. I couldn't help over hearing someone speak from that group over there. I think they feel the same thing as you do Tex. which means our priority has changed. we need those guys protected and I'll see to it that they do." Saber tells Tex as he nods to her as in he agrees. She begins to head towards them in a normal walking pace to not draw too much concern or threat. "Wait! I just saw something else move. We may have a problem here Tex. theres a Shadow Spirit that wants some attention. I doubt it knows of the other dark spirit around." Cable tells him watching carefully on where he saw the Shadow Spirit. "They could be working as one. Since our main target is retreating, we'll handle the Shadow Spirit first. At least we know what it is unlike the other one." Tex orders and Cable simply nods and they begin to walk forward slowly and cautious. |

The spirit turns it's back upon it's intruders, removing them from sight. It dissappears into the blankest, darkest forestry. It was no longer present in the eyes of one who see it. Levi gasps in air at a quick breath as everyone else did. Frost did as well. He looked around noting everyone's reaction and looking for the cause of that cold feeling. "It sure as hell didn't feel good." said Frost. "We seem to be okay though." "I still don't like it," said Levi who immediately checks the status of the ones that had recently landed. He noticed that they had looked disturbed. "Guys.." Frost says softly, grabbing all attention around him. His eyes were locked on one of the downed gangsters. "You see that?" He points at something of a symbol, fading in upon the head. It was a circled with a dot located in the middle. also there were to lines, curving as a circle would do across each other located about a half inch under. |

Taylor noticed Saber separating from her strange compatriots, and was vaguely aware of the furries making a fuss over a symbol that had appeared on the gangster he had punched out. He decided, however, to confront Saber instead; if he got out of the loop as far as the symbol was concerned, he would just ask Frost later. "You look as if you and your counterparts look into this kind of thing often. So, you know anything more than what I do?" He asked, the collar of his coat squeaking slightly as he tried to get it even. That was the problem with leather jackets, they looked nice and kept one warm even in some severe chills, but they tended to take any shape other than the one you wanted them to take. |

"Not now man," said Levi, running to assist Cable in his crew. "We got bigger issues to take care of." Hearing this, Frost was about to do the same but that symbol obvisously meant something to him. "No way," he said shaking his head then running off towards the rest of the crew as well. The body of the gangster begins to twitch and he came back into the world. It got back up in a strange manner looking as if something had helped it to its feet, because the arms hang limp whilst gettign up. The gangsters eyes reopen, catching the arm-cannon wielding rat in its sights. It begins approaching as well. |

As Cable and Tex begins to jog off towards the spirit thing they saw before, Cable suddenly stops and looks around. "Dam. that first spirit away. but the second one is still here some where. I just can't get a dam fix on it. It might be hiding within something." Cable tells Tex as Tex looks around and scans the area more. "Too many trees around us, so this is the perfect stop for an ambush." Tex replies as he grabs the hilt on his sword. Saber on the other hand keep coming towards the group and was going to reply back when she was spoken to. but her eyes suddenly caught the ganster's body jerk up right in a odd manner. She quickly takes out her saber like swords and holds them in both hands. She races forward with great speed and leaps high into the air while preforming several flips. once she landed in front of the awkward looking ganster she quickly lashes out her sabers in an X formation upon it. glaring upon it she takes a step back, ready if it would react in a bad way. |

The rat simply grunts and turns his back towards the group, not shaking the feeling of someone, or something, watching over them. He switches the view of his eyes to white heat and attempts to track down whatever he feels 'the something' is. Nothing comes on his radar; he proceeds to black heat and still nothing. Damn, what's wrong with these eyes? It can't be the weather, they were built to last through this kind of weather...what's up then? Multiple answers seem to fly inside of his head, yet the majority made little sense to the mercenary as he shrugs it off, sighing heavily while kicikng at the ground below. Thinking long and hard about the current situation, he grabs the courage to walk up to one of the new people that crash-landed here, the female human. "'scuse me, what cha doin' here?" Taylor presumed the until-recently-reawakened gangster dead after Saber's stunt. "What the hell goes on in that mind of yours that you leap to such extreme measures? I mean seriously..." With his hands in his pockets, he turned away with a semi-frustrated sigh that condensed in the frigid air. He'd also assumed the gangster harmless. |

Frost turned to see the female made her move as did Levi. The blades sliced clean through the body of the gangster and like an orange falling into four separate pieces, it does the same with the accompaniment of blood. The pieces of the body fall upon the ground. The gangster was obviously dead. "Not another zombie episode..." Frost remarks, recalling the symbol upon the head of the gangster which had disappeared. A transparent being had risen from the body and remained just above it. It resembled the live body of the gangster although, the skin was pale and the eyes were clear. Whist everyone's view was fixed on the spirit, it's head shakes in an inhumane way for one and a half second just as the background dims but returns back to normal. This all happened through the eyes of the males. |

Saber tucks her two sabers away. Looking at everyone, who happen to be all males, she places her hands on her hips and watches them stare at something. "Is there something wrong?" She asked trying to see where their eyes are set at. Tex and Cable were not to far now when Cable suddenly stops chasing the other spirit. "What is it?" Tex asked grabbing his hilt. "My spirit eye is keeping up a lot of spirit energy from behind us where Saber went. I'll head back to see whats going on. your glove should pick up the shadow spirit once you get close to it." Cable tells Tex. Nodding, Tex dashes forward while Cable dashes back towards the group with Saber. Once Cable got close enough he begins to slow down as he sees the spirit floating. "Heh, looks like more fun over here." Cable says to himself but loud enough for all to here. "Now that I got the name of the spirit. Its never leaving my spirit eye's sight." Cable tells them all as his fist becomes inflamed with spirit fire from his brackets. "Lets get this over with Saber." Cable says sliding his feet to a fighting stance. "I wish I could aid you, but I can't see a dam thing right now. what ever your seeing, I don't see. You'll have to be my eyes then." Saber tells him. "Forget about it. Tex will be here soon. In the mean time, I'll take care of this freak." Cable tells her and dashes for the spirit. |

Just before getting to the spirit, Cable was stopped in his tracks. An outline of green can be seen just around him. A another hedgehog approached just from behind Levi and Frost. A red hedgehog, the eyes were blanketed with green. His quills each slicked upward. He was dressed in a black sleeveless shirt and jeans of the same color. "You would be wise not to make contact with this creature." he said to him with his rather creepy voice that sounded like three people speaking at once. He freed Cable of his grasp. "Aervic?" Frost spoke, turning to see him but turned back to the visible spririt that smiled lightly before sinking into the ground. "All of you must leave this area at once..." he said. "Once out of the forest, we will explain ourselves." |

A split second was all it took to throw Maverick's train of thought out of balance, taking a step back and rubbing his eyes with only his left arm, squinting to make sure if what he had just viewed is fictional...or real. "Okay, what the hell is up here??" he askes, not getting a straightforward answer right away. Instead, one of the hedgehogs, Frost, stood in his place and called out someone's name in question. Impatient in getting his answer, the rat switches his vision from white heat to black, and then back again, this time getting a faint visual where Frost is looking at currently. Whoa. That was about the only word that could go through his head for the moment. He had dealt with physical beings and physical beings only, never once did he had to deal with the supernatural. He nearly forgot about all the equipment he has to, at least, withstand a chance against anyone...yet would they fare against the metaphysical? |
