Hey there one and all, are we having fun or what? What? You want MOAR? Hmm, okay then I don't see why not. A few of you make fan characters, but aren't confident in your drawing skills. So thus, I present to you the Furry Dollmaker, as created gen8hedgehog of DeviantART fame. Step 1: use either the male or female version of the dollmaker to create your character. Step 2: you can't save what you've created so instead take a screenshot using the Prt Scrn button, next to Scroll Lock. If you're using a Mac, I don't know how to do that unfortunately  Step 3: open up paint program of choice(I use Photoshop but every version of Windows comes with MS Paint, it'll suffice for this) and then go to Edit on the top bar, and select Paste. Step 4: crop/cut image to size. Step 5: save cutting.  Here's an example of my usual fan character, Quartz - just to show you what can be done. This is a first for Quartz, as usually he wears bright white silk robes that he hates to get dirty. This is his city disguise, for when he needs to blend in in a GUN policed environment or Robotnik dominated landscape. Why's he feel the need to hide? Because he's a sky pirate - he's like the Robin Hood of the skies, taking from the rich to feed the poor. And this doesn't go down too well with the authorities. Needless to say Quartz doesn't like dressing like a slob, but he does what he has to do to put a meal on the plates of those who suffer at the hands of bureaucracy and dictatorships. Hopefully we'll see some great characters here. Please don't worry about the "RECOLOUR!" hatred some people have, my very first fan character simply a brown Knuckles with a cape!  Everyone has to begin somewhere.When you post, feel free to put up a mino-bio about what your character's like. Lunick Ervine Lunick is the son of a hedgehog and a scorpion demon.He's a 17 year old demon hunter that holds nothing back,no matter how weak the enemy.As a 16 year old,he watched his mother and best friend be brutally murdered.This triggered a major switch in his life.He set up a shop that he named The Demon's Grave. Despite his hedgehog,he has great demonic powers and has one truely demonic feature.Despite the fact that he resembles a regular hedgehog,he hides a long,scorpion tail underneath his coat.He wields a tri-edged nunchuka called the Cerberus and a shotgun. Although he has these weapons,his tail is his most dangerous weapon.It is strong enough to choak a full grown rihno,and the tail is as hard as steel.The tail also secreets a dangerous poison thst is toxic enough to bring down a full grown African Elephant.He only uses his tail when forced to.He can also fire orbs of energy from his hands and feet.This power also allows him to channel the energy through his gun to use a deadly "Energy Spread". When he uses the nunchuka he can control ice and often uses the ice as a shield from ranged attacks. Because of his tail,most demons call him "Lunick Iron Tail" out of fear and respect. He is cocky and often taunts his enemies.His goal is to destroy all the demons on the planet to avenge his mother and friend. He faces danger with a cocky smirk and a rock-hard determination. |

Here's one I put together for an old, and currently out-of-use, character of mine in hopes of breathing some fresh life into the old design. (Colored and edited in Photoshop, by the way. The rune brushes were downloaded from Obsidian Dawn, and the scythe was edited in from a piece of commissioned character art I had done a long time ago.) No one can live in another's shadow forever. An older, more mature Specter the hedgehog gradually begins to cast off aspects of his appearance that he had so long associated with his highly idealized progenitors and begins to seek an independent identity of his own. Years of working with the arcane arts have helped to refine his features, shifting the once Shadow-like streaks of his quills into long arrays of runic symbols and patterns. Although he keeps the iconic scythe and cape, patterned after those held by the dark wizard Magus, his apparel no longer echoes the grim shadowmancer. His powers and skills now more refined, his wisdom and intellect tempered by experience, Specter determines to strike out on his own and pursue the fullness of whatever awaits him in the multiverse... |

 Dr. BTTF Guy is the looniest Time Traveling Believer and Close friends to Sonic and all of his Friends, he later got injured and needed attention right way and so Tails Helped Dr. BTTF Guy to fill health but he had to sacrifice 3 body parts for him to stay alive he had to sacrifice an Right Arm, Right Leg, and finally a Right Ear, and then when he got a strange letter to join starfleet in their dangerous missions to protect the star trek universe. I'm a fifth level Photoshop Mage.  Seriously, though, Photoshop (or GiMP, alternately) is the best way to remove background colors and make transparent images (PNG or GIF) like that. But we're getting off topic; if you need some help figuring out how to do it PM me. |

Enigma (i know its human, and thus not a sonic fancharacter, but this is what i had in mind) Rumored to be a skilled swordsman, the human known only as 'Enigma' can be seen wandering across the lands for reasons unknown. For as long as anyone can remember, he's been travelling alone. No one has ever gotten him to speak of his past, much less talk at all. (i'm sorry but thats it. its short for two reasons: 1: im not good at making bios, to be honest; 2: they dont call him Enigma for no reason! If you guys can give hints on how to make good bios, i'd love to hear from you. this is honestly my first time EVER making a fancharacter ^^;) |

Lord Chao, the problem is you have got your image on your computer. You need to upload your image to a place like Imageshack or Tinypic. Also, please don't double post. I'll let that slide because you're new though. Read the rules please. Edited by Radar, May 3 2009, 08:55 AM.
