Redemption Zone; Been banned?

A new section of the forum has been added by Metallix, and we really hope you don't ever have to see it.

Entitled the Redemption Zone, it is viewable to just staff and banned members. Here you will try to convince us why you should be unbanned. Even with good reasoning, this may not be possible. If none of the staff agree, your chance of being unbanned is zero. If just one person agrees, the staff will hold a vote and will discuss why they think you should or should not be banned.

So now you know.

TIME TO REALLY EXPLODE!
I'm curious.

So when these guys come back, if at all, will they be at 0% warn and have a totally clean slate? And so, to be banned again, will they need to ramp up to a 100% warn? Or would you would re-ban after one warn since they haven't changed their ways?

Oh wow, I never really thought of that. I'd say a two warn grace period. Everyone slips up once in awhile on accident, after that I don't think they should be allowed to return.

What about the members that got their account deleted instead of banned? They would be guests and couldn't see it, and also what about the IP banned members? O_o

Well in that case they would either be IP dodging, or if they truly wished to get back they'd choose the same name they had before and contact an admin or moderator. This individual would then set the new account to banned status, and thus the banned member could then see the new section.

And if they go to the trouble to say "Yo, I'm banned. Please ban me again so I can go to the trouble of appealing" then it looks good to the staff, obviously.

Mista J, don't spam here mate. On-topic or bugger off, please ;)
