My favorite is Devil May Cry 3.Pure and simple.Probably always will be.Fast action,cool bosses,great story,awesome weapons,and THE BEST main character EVER!Dante is the coolest guy I've ever played as.(sorry Sonic!)Him and Virgil.I love using the Cerberus and the Rebellion with the Spiral and the Shotgun as a Swordmaster.And being a DarkSlayer as Virgel,using all his weapons at once is awesome!The puzzels are also pretty cool,too! It's goooooooooood stuff. Especially multiplayer. My favourite classes are the Monk and the Rogue; the Monk because she can do as much damage as any other armed character with HER BARE HANDS and the Rogue because... well, why open chests when you can Ransack 'em? Heheheh... I love the skills and the class choices too; they're much better than the first game.

Anyway favourite Hack and Slash game would be Dungeons Siege II. I have not yet made to complete this game. But it's really awesome when you finally start to develop each character and your own fashionable pet. Though my close second would be Diablo 2.

I want to get that sometime; the first Dungeon Siege was good, as was the expansion pack, but I did have a few personal issues with them.

The game just owns in gameplay. Lots of combos, enemies, puzzles, bosses, etc in it. The storyline is some of the best in gaming, and the graphics are phenomenal for a PS2 game. I've played Devil May Cry and I didn't really like it... Of course #2 is supposedly the worst in the series, but there was virtually no story and the gameplay was boring...

Come on, it's related to Sonic Team and SEGA. I favor all PSO games, but one of the games I pretty much liked more is Phantasy Star Portable- the next installment of the PSU series. It's the same PSU gameplay-- hack and slash RPG style, but, they added a freak load of PSO weapons in this game, and a whole new storyline, including characters. Even better, IT'S ON PSP! SO I CAN OWN WHILE I WALK! Erm... though this game is only released in Japan so... yeh. You can get this game via ordering on Play-Asia. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

GoW has such sweet graphics (By PS2 standards), a sweet story, an awesome protagonist, and sweet boss fights. Very fun game. As for PSO, I would have said it, but I just call it an RPG with real time combat.

First game Timothy? Who's Timothy? Anyway... it is pretty good. PS2s are cheap now though, so you might consider getting one and try out the games you missed on it.
