I've always hovered around 110 and 120 because my metabolism's insanely high. In fact I've been known to plow through Burger King Quad Stacks as if they were McDonald's double cheeseburgers. But then again, I balance that out with apples and water. With an occasional bout of Pepsi or Dr. Pepper.

They follow the same kind of strategy with their huge 1,400 calorie burgers. That is, giving the middle finger to the obesity epidemic...and going in the opposite direction from the other fast food chains. You know, the ones that started offering salads and apple slices and whatnot. And by doing this Hardees/Carl Jr. hope to become the chain that everyone who isn't concerned about their health goes to. I think the CEO described their chain as mostly being for single men, or men who are eating alone. Because when you bring your family along, not everyone wants the monster burgers, so they might go for salads or something instead. Hardees simply doesn't do this and caters mostly to the he-man who wants the giant burger. A talk show host even described their burgers as "having meat as a CONDIMENT!" There's bigger profit margins in larger meals, you see. It costs less to stuff a lot of meat into one burger, versus spread the same amount of meat across several burgers. Must make a killing, considering they've been introducing sandwich after sandwich following this philosophy. So, I'm guessing that's what Heart Attack Grill may be trying too. Regardless, even though you could say I'm in the target demographic (single man), I wouldn't eat there.
