Background Story In the year 2024, Mobius' champion Sonic the Hedgehog first came to the forefront with his crusade against rogue human scientist Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik and his plans to dominate the recently discovered planet of anthromorphs. A year later in 2025, Sonic was joined by a mechanical genius of a young fox named Miles "Tails" Prower and also the guardian of the Master Emerald, an echinda named Knuckles. From there, they had forged what seemed to be an unbreakable team. Then in 2031, the team broke into a partnership of two with Tails leaving to take on a role in the United States Air Force to combat Eggman on a wider scale. The fifteen year old fox (with a special act of Congress) was given the rank of Airman and sent to the recently completed Space Colony ARK. There, the young fox made several new friends, namely Maria Robotnik after saving her life during an accident with a robot as well as her grandfather Gerald, a captured E-100 series robot named E-102 Gamma and finally a small baby hedgehog that Tails had helped raise since his creation, Shadow. Tails was happy in his new home and his job. His research in Eggman robotics helped develop life saving weaponry, tactics and equipment that turned the technically outmatched government coalition that was fighting the rampant rotund human. He also had a growing relationship with Maria. However, that all changed in the year 2032, when the ARK would be under siege by the Guardian Unit of Nations, a covert operations unit within the United States government. Paranoid to begin with about Mobians, the covert ops. group struck when false intelligence deliberately planted by an unknown source pointed to Gerald Robotnik's Shadow project to be a dangerous threat to national security. When it came to that, G.U.N didn't hold back any punches. The key scientists were either shot or in Gerald Robotnik's case, imprisoned. Anyone else who resisted, whether they were ARK security or even military police were mowed down. But worst of all, they had even went as far as to shoot Maria, who was unarmed. Tails had also been shot as well for trying to hold G.U.N off before they went after Maria. But their mission was a failure. Shadow the Hedgehog was released from the station. It wasn't the end for Tails or Maria's story though. After an unknown amount of time, Tails would wake up to find himself barely alive and preserved cryogenically on the ARK, now abandoned. This was brought on by E-102 Gamma, who had special programming to save Tails in case an accident rendered him unconscious (such as decompression, or being knocked out by a fallen machine, etc.) Even in this state, Tails was still looking at death. He had to think of a way to keep himself going. He found one, but he knew it was a long shot. In the year 2007, an Earth corporation called OCP (Omni Consumer Products) created the world's first cyborg in the form of a fallen Detroit police officer named Alex Murphy. Murphy was recreated to serve again as a cop, only outfitted with (for the time) advanced motor, sensory and life support systems as well as a suit of armor and powerful weaponry. In this new form, he was dubbed RoboCop. OCP tried to make another RoboCop about a year later, however due to some internal corruption among key executives, the project was abused and the product of it went on a rampage, prompting a government investigation as well as OCP's closure and the suspension of the RoboCop program. All of the production data was dumped into a secure government server, and the RoboCop unit itself was put into the hands of the Department of Justice. Tails instructed Gamma to break into the server using the ARK's resources and copy all of the production data. He then was placed back into cryogenic suspension and Gamma carried out his instructions. The data was retrieved and Gamma automatically determined what modern adjustments needed to be done for the hardware and software in order to work with Tails. The necessary equipment was either bought through the regular and gray markets on the Internet or made on the ARK itself, drawing raw material from the nearby abandoned mines attached to the ARK by automated drones. When the adjustments were made, Tails was brought out of cryogenic suspension for the final time, and was tested in the ARK's medical labs. He was then operated upon by Gamma and would wake up fully functional. However, he had to take time to learn how to use his systems, much as one had to learn how to walk again after regaining the ability. The first thing he wanted to do after he was functional was to adapt the same technique to Maria, who was cryogenically preserved as well. Only there were several problems. When the heart stops and oxygen to the brain is restricted, the brain starts to die off. Maria was preserved only after Tails was put under, so part of her brain was already infract. Also, Tails wanted to do a more limited procedure that only repaired damaged organic systems instead of completely replacing them as a whole, to keep her original appearance. When Maria was brought back, she could only recognize certain things such as Tails and had limited mental function. When memories of her death came to her, she started to fall into an uncontrollable state of rage, making her very dangerous. Tails however, was blinded by the fact that she was still 'alive', and unwisely took her along to Earth to find out how G.U.N first got the idea to invade the ARK. It was a disaster. Maria went into a fit and ended up causing their detection. G.U.N swarmed around them, and they had to fight their way out. Maria didn't make it out of the base. Sonic the Hedgehog was brought to the base to stop both of them from leaving, and ended up killing Maria. Tails confronted his former friend and almost successfully killed the hedgehog, whose decision to run off was what kept him alive. Now Tails is stranded where he is hunted by not only G.U.N but also Eggman and even Sonic and his friends. His only choice is to search for Shadow and try to find a way back to the ARK. I will be playing as Tails. Available 'official' characters are basically any of the officials (Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, etc.) with the (obviously) exception of Tails. Fan-characters are also allowed as long as they are not magic-users or carry weapons uncontemporary to the scenario (i.e no robot busting swords), and may side with civilians (this includes public and government service workers) , G.U.N, Sonic and his friend or Tails. |

Uhh, I, personally, think he would side with Tails, since I think they'd be pretty good friends if they met up, but if he has to, he'll side with Sonic.
