I had the same problem before, I downloaded a crappy torrent and it didn't work, I had to download a whole new torrent >_>. Anyways theres another engine that might work but it doesn't have as many features. Other engine if your still interested. This one worked for me when I had my older crappy torrent of MMF2

Very small. Sonic was a still sprite, but still he jumped etc. Then the second I added a running animation, thats when game maker decided to fail completely. I probably need an above average computer. Which if I remember, MoD has, courtesy of his mum XP

I do intend to repay her for it - but knowing her, she'll object... I did make a Shadow sprite platformer with TGF, but that disappeared when I destroyed my laptop. I still have the hard drive from it so I might be able to salvage it with the right adapter. It was quite buggy, but great fun to make. Which reminds me, I should try and find the archive for sound effects and stuff... watch this space. Venny, your character has the honour of being my beta tester.

XD First off, damn you for wanting fancharacters, MoD. Not all of us who want their characters in have sprite sheets of them (me ;;), hence why I selfishly think Avii's suggestion of using original characters instead is more fair. But it seems like you've already got a fair bit of volunteers, so I guess that personal niggle is archaic, eh? Secondly, I like everyone else can offer up my extreme writing abilities. I'm also up for some art design whether it be levels, enemies/bosses, items, NPCs, what have you. And having dabbled in it, I can even do a tad bit of spriting here and there. And you know I'd be great for quality control-- programming, writing, aesthetic properties, what have you. >3 Anyways, you also asked some questions. On testing, again I'd be up for anything regarding quality control. As for what should be included, I first must ask how representative is this game going to be of SB? Is this basically going to mimic website tropes and cliche's (ex. seadra's story) or is this going to be like a general Sonic platformer but with our own spin on it? You're basically the head honcho of this project-- What exactly are you going to be aiming for?
