Official Movie Site![]() Remind you of any Security Managers you might know? ![]() ![]() The 2001 Action Game of the year is going to be a movie in late October. Mark Wahlberg is cast in the title role of a rogue undercover NYPD-DEA cop/agent that goes on a one-man war against a drug that plagues the streets and causes fleeting hallucinations involving Nordic lore called Valkyr, the very same drug that prompted junkies to kill his wife and baby daughter. The game was inspired by various things, including the Matrix with its bullet-time system and is an all out immersion into the dark, deep coldness of the feeling of vengeance. There's also a bit of dark humor involved as well. Cutscenes are depicted in graphic novel format, such at this one.

Doesn't interest me much. The best thing about Max Payne was the gameplay. The story wasn't that great. I find it odd how they're making a movie long after the series ended... |

You fail if you never heard of Max Payne. Go play your GTA. Personaly I found the story a little corny and lame but the gameplay is GOD. Bullet time FTW. I just hope badly there's going to be a 3rd one out on 360 or Ps3. Heck even Wii, the controls could actualy fit. Great Game=Crappy Movie. Years of Experience the same way. Great Movie=Crappy Game So I'm not holding up any hopes for it because I will just get my heart rebroken, but if it's indeed kickass then...sweeet. |
