The only one I know for sure is that Silver's Theme is 'Dreams of an Absolution'. I'm unsure if 'His World is suppose to be Sonic's Theme, or the Theme for the game itself. And when it comes to Shadow... I can't even find mention of him having a Theme Song. Could someone explain this to me?

The Zebrahead version of His World rocks. I normally dislike emo music but that tune rocks. To derail this topic slightly, I actually like some of the Mephiles stuff. In fact, scratch that because almost all of '06 had a great score. Robotnik's has a decent old-school vibe to it yet feels epic at the same time - it's a shame he's now made of fail. Mephiles, AWESOME music. Suitably evil. Solaris stage 1 is possibly the most dramatic... if only these tunes had proper names

Now you've gone and started talking about the soundtrack. cracks her knuckles Well-p: On the subject of His World, I prefer the Crush 40 version. I don't know why the consensus favors the other-- perhaps I'm more of a C40 fangirl than I'd like to be-- but I felt that Zebrahead's vocals were not up to par. They sounded lower pitched in the chorus; flatter. Eh, perhaps I should listen to both again and give a more up-to-date comparison. As for the soundtrack, good Lord Almighty, if this isn't the best Sonic soundtrack out there, then shut my mouth wide open. I'm a fan of the Mephiles theme, too. T'is very creepy and atmospheric. I also took a fond liking to the orchestral melody of Elise's theme, the song that plays when Sonic is in the fields with her. It's just that very sweet, uplifting, Disney-esque melody you grow to smile at the longer you listen to it. And of course, there's my favorite level BGMs: Aquatic Base part 1, Wave Ocean part 1, and Kingdom Valley part 3, all if which are just nothing short of kickass. Overall, this soundtrack is to Sonic what Galaxy's soundtrack is to Mario. Let's hope they take a similar route for Unleashed. Orchestras are just good for the soul.

Sonic = His World Silver = Dreams of an Absolution Shadow = All Hail Shadow And lol, I completely forgot Elise had a theme. X( Thanks Bliz, and I pretty much agree with your soundtrack opinion. It proved to be one of the better aspects of the game, and it would be a pretty good direction to take the music in. But still, nothing beats SA2B's "It Doesn't Matter." That song shows what Sonic is all about. 'Twas the perfect theme for our lil' blue friend. ROCK OUT, DUDE.

I got a copy months ago, when I actually got the songs off the game myself through some direct recording stuff. But yeah, if anything Sonic 06 did do well at, it was music. I have quite a few tunes from the game saved. Such as the orchestra version of his world, the inlet (from wave ocean speed run). The only sonic game that really beats it for music is SATSR. Don't even get me started on the music for that. In fact, the music for sonic lately has been of an extremely high standard. Sonic 06, SATSR, and trailer stuff from Unleashed, you can't deny the european beat is great.
