I had thought of it well then when it was ready I joined a forum and tried posting the first volume. I wasn't allowed to finish it... It probably was too violent for a kids forum like that one. Luckily, I should be able to post it here. It's been a pretty long time so I don't remember how exactly was the story supposed to be so I'm pretty much doing this up as I go. But I will try to make it the best I can. The character's stories (prologues) are revealed with the story. Most of them are my fcs. If anyone has any doubts I don't have a trouble with posting bios. CHAPTER #1: Ten Years Of Grief The long hallway seemed to be endless. It's darkness covering up everything. It's dreadful cold was almost unbearable. A hedgehog appears all of a sudden. Part of his purple fur was bathed in blood. He had a cut over his left eye and a drop of blood ran across his face. He placed his hand on the steel wall and hanged on. He could'nt breathe. It was too hard, too painful. His right leg was broken; all the bones inside pulverized. His left rib had a huge bleeding wound. He could barely move his arms and his body was beaten up. He softly pushed his forehead against the wall and tried to catch his breath. The cold began freezing his blood and his aching body. It hurt really badly. He strained his eyes and pretended nothing was happening. He grabbed the mantel around his neck and took it off. It's gray color was gone; it was red now. He looked at it but his arm began shaking from the pain and dropped the clothing. "It can't end this way, can it?" he asked himself. His whole body began trembling. The sorrow, the wounds, it was too much. He heard something coming from behind. He was being chased. He quickly struggled to keep moving. He tried dragging his broken leg as he held on to the frozen walls. The fatigue got him and he started coughing. He couldn't do much, just try to escape. He needed to escape. He couldn't stop otherwise it would've been the end of it all. The path somehow became narrow and darker. He continued to move forward. He was anxious but calm all at the same time. He looked forward as his eyes widened in fear. A dead end; and not just the path but his own life. He limped towards the wall and touched it. He looks at in disbelief. He was trapped. "This can't be..." he said with much agony. He then falls to his knees. A figure walks towards him. "This is the end for you!" a dastardly voice shrieked from behind. An unbridled hatred churned inside of the hedgehog. He tightened his fists then exhaled. Enraged he turned around then hid his feelings with a cocky smile. "Sorry, Egg-freak. I'm not going anywhere." he replied as Eggman, half cyborg stepped out of the shadows. The nasty cyborg looked at the hedgehog. "I've been waiting for this for 18 years." he says with a scowl. "Eighteen? Check your calendar, Eggy. I'm 15." the hedgehog tries to stand as he remarks. "My dream to kill your father was born eighteen years ago, you idiot." the cyborg took a few steps forwards but his faulty, wrecked robotic legs began malfunctioning a little and had to stop on his tracks. "It doesn't matter anyway because your going down! It's time to pay for your sins, Doctor!!!" yelled the hedgehog as he stood up and tried to run towards the freak only to be stopped at his first step by his shocking ailment. He nearly yelled: his bones were shattered, he was bleeding, he was coughing and couldn't breathe well, his mouth tasted like blood, he couldn't move, and he was about to die at the hands of the person he hated the most. A horrifying sense of frutration and insanity curled up in his mind and made the room spin wildy until a small tear slipped from his eye as part of him drifted into unconsciousness. "Finally, my revenge is at hand! Mwa, hah, hah, hah!" laughed the diabollical doctor as he took out a gun and aimed it straight at the hedgehog's head. "I never imagined it, Doctor." he answered. He lifted his head a little and looked at the villanous mad genius. It was true. He never imagined it would end like that. He had come looking for revenge. He had infiltrated the doctor's base and had sabotaged it entirely. He fought Eggman. It seemed like if he was going to win when Eggman calls forth a robot that thrashed him all around the place. The major fight ended with a destroyed robot and a dying hedgehog. He had been planning to win. Now he had to retreat. There was no use though. Little by little he could feel death itself incarnating itself in his body. His heart, giving up and his soul broken to bits. He felt ashamed. How would he face Somy now? What about Blizz? Worst of all, Aura. How the heck would he be able to face her when he was so disloyal to her: his leader and closest friend? At least now that he was dying he'd figure he could drag himself away from everyone until his fated doom came into place. As long as he had his revenge he didn't mind dying, as long as he knew Eggman would never win. But now that all seemed like a dream. Of course, he smiled at the devious opposer and struggled to get up. "Well, doctor, I'm ready to die." he said as he stood in his fighting position. "I figured as much. Coming here and trying to get rid of me was basically like asking me to kill you, which of course would be a delightful pleasure." he raised his weapon, ready to get the dirty deed done with. "You seem to be a bit mistaken, Eggy. This is the end for both of us. You won't kill me, I won't allow it. Even if I have to kill myself just to prevent you to have such pleasure. But I'm taking you down with me, right here and now. You best say your prayers. I'm taking you staright to hell, even if I have to rot there too." he closed his fist as Eggman charged the weapon. Sonic was sitting in the ground, laid back against a tree, resting his eyes on a beautiful day. Amy was next to him, her head resting on top of his chest with his left arm across her back and resting on her waist. They had beeing together for 8 years now. Sonic was a bit more grown; Amy too and her hair was longer. At Sonic's right was a little hedgehog girl. She looked a lot like Amy; her fur was purple and she had a rosy pink spot on her right eye. Her dress was pink too and she was peacefully asleep. There was another small hedgehog next to Amy. His head was resting on her lap. His fur was purple and he had a blue spot on his left eye. He wore a blue headband and was blissfully asleep. All of a sudden, Sonic's ears twitched. He opens his eyes and looks up. He seemed dead serious. Amy wakes up and looks at him. The kids wake up too. "What is it?" Amy asks concerned. Sonic stays shut. Something was terribly wrong. The little hedgehog girl seemed rather frightened. "Daddy, what's wrong?" she asks. "Nothing." Sonic answers dryly without taking his eyes off the sky. He continues to stare up, silently. Amy squeezes his hand. She looks at him sharply. Sonic tries to smile. "It's nothing." "Nothing?" Amy's voice was breaking up. "I can feel it too and you know you can't lie to me." Sonic took a deep breath and smiled at her. He then kisses her to calm her down. The moment his lips leave hers, he stands up and looks at her. "I'll go check it out right now, so don't worry." Amy's eyes were trembling in fear but she nodded. "Be good to your mother, kids. I'll come back soon." He then rushes off. The little hedgehog girl looks out at the horizon as Sonic vanishes. The other one was stretching his arms and legs. He then notices his sister, worried. "Come on, Somy. You know dad always comes back. There's no need to worry." The girl lowered her eyes. "I don't know. I have this really terrifying feeling inside of me." The girl stopped talking as Amy picked her up. "It's OK, sweetie. Everything will be all right." Amy smiles at her daughter. "He'll come back! You'll see!" the boy replied happily. Everything was pitch black. Anic wakes up in his room. It was dark. He rubs his eyes and looks at the alarm clock. It was 10:00 am. He then gets out of bed. He stands up and slips on his gray gloves on. He puts on his gray shoes and grabs a gray mantel. He exits the room and makes his way into the bathroom but inadvertedly leaves the door open. He hangs the cape nearby and turns on the faucet. The sink's bowl fills up on water. He closes the faucet and sinks his hands in. While washing his face, the image returns to his mind. He can see him self as the little purple hedgehog, talking to his sister. "He'll come back! You'll see!" the phrase kept repeating in his mind over and over again. It wasn't a dream, it was a memory. But the memory itself was a nightmare. He placed his hands on the sink's edge and tried to make the headache go away. But he could still hear himself. "He'll come back! You'll see!" the voice haunted him. Soon he heard it over and over and over again. It was echoing in his mind. He could barely think. He opened his eyes. Tried to wake up but this wasn't a dream. His eyes strained as the phrase kept thundering all over his head. He felt he was going nuts. He sees his reflection on the water. He looked exactly like Sonic. With just that mere thought he actually saw Sonic's image on the water. Desperate, he instantly dunks his head on the water. Most of the insanity slowly washed away. He closed his eyes again and got terribly dizzy. His breath escaped him. He kept his face submerged in the water. He hadn't been able to sleep well lately, knowing that this day was drawing in nearer and nearer. Finally, the need for oxygen snaps him out and he quickly lifts his head out of the water. He starts panting when a familiar voice reached his ear. "You OK?" "Never better." "Right." the voice answers sarcastically. "Please, Blizz. I'm not in the mood." "No one's in any mood today." she complained. Anic turned around and saw the light blue cat standing in the doorway. Her dark blue quills looked like hair. Her furry clothes were a cuddly jacket and a warm pair of pants. Her sapphire eyes nailed right into his. "You should get some sleep." Anic looked at her with a serious yet oddly sad face. He grabbed a towel and began drying his wet, dripping quills. He then reached out for his mantel and wrapped it around his neck. He walks past Blizz and pays no mind to her. A sudden feeling of rage wins her over. "Anicholas the Hedgehog, stop right there!" she yells as she runs towards him and stands in his way. "Get out of my way, Blizzard. I already told you, I'm not in the mood." he tries to walk past her but she grabs his hand. He stops right on his tracks. Blizz walks in front of him again. "Today. I heard Cream say something about today beeing 'the day'. What's that supposed to mean?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ugh, I haven't been able to get a decent sleep these days myself. I hope that bit was good. I'm tired and I sort of forgot what I was gonna write. Sorry if it's a disaster. I'll see what I can do tomorrow. EDIT: I changed a few things. Last night I was so tired I seriously goofed up so I added another bit. Still hoping for it to be OK. EDIT 2: Fixed more grammar mistakes and paragraphing. Edited by Miracle, Sep 20 2008, 02:24 PM.

And I like your OCs, the're very cool, and the fact that Sonic and Amy have children. Oh, and I noticed something: Quote: At Sonic's right was a little hedgehog girl. She looked a lot like Amy; her fur was purple and she had a rosy pink spot on her right eye. Her dress was pink too and sshe was peacefully asleep. As soon as you told me I hit the edit button. I didn't change the story; I just fixed grammar mistakes. You know, like the "sshe" thing, and "wouldd". I guess I was a bit in a hurry and kind of sleepy when I wrote it. Anyway, thanks everyone for your nice replies. To tell the truth I was agraid no one was going to reply seeing as it took 6 days for someone to do so. Thanks SuperWerewolf. Well, let's see if I can continue. CHAPTER #2: A Memory Best Forgotten "Blizz..." Anic took a deep breath. He quickly exhaled and looked away. His eyes began getting kind of teary. Blizz was worried. She didn't know what was wrong. "Anic, I'm sorry I snaped at you. I just...." Blizz abruptly stops her sentence with a sorrowful sigh. "Everyone's spirit... It's gone. Today. Yesterday was such a fine day. As opposed to today. Haze, Kiri, Ro, they just got out of bed with some strange looks on their face. It was like if the life had been ripped apart from their bodies or something. Aura looked more melancholic than usual and headed out to that weird graveyard. Somy's locked up in her room and refuses to come out." Anic lifted his face and dashed past Blizz at sound speed. He instantly found himself standing in front of his sister's room. He knocked at the door. "Somy, are youn in there?" he asked while knocking. But there was no response. He placed his hand on a scanner next to the high tech door. The scanner read his hand but the door didn't slid open. It was locked. He kept knocking at the door. "Come on, sis. Open the door already." he anxiously said as he continued to knock on the door. Yet there was no answer. "It won't work, you know." Blizz replied as she finally caught up with him. She laid back against the wall and looked as Anic ignored what she said and kept banging his life away at the door. "Why won't she open up?" he asked as he decides to stop hitting the door. "I woke up pretty early today and came knocking on her door. I asked if she was awake but she told me to get lost. Normally, I'd get angry but she sounded so sad I didn't. That's when I noticed everyone's unusual behavior." Blizz explained as Anic lowered his face and then looked at her firmly. Although she didn't show it, Blizz was shocked. She had never seen him so sad. She had never seen him sad at all. Period. He was always so cheerful and optimistic. True, if they were in a situation he wouldn't look so happy. But not so down either. Something terrible was going on but she was the only one who didn't knew. "Where did Aura go?" Anic asked, pulling her away from her thoughts. "W-What? I'm sorry, I didn't catch that." she said. Anic walked at her. Once again the thoughts returned to her head. This was surely not the Anic she knew. The current dead serious look in his eye, it was just so creepy yet sad. "You told me where Aura went a while ago, where was it?" he said calmly. "She went to that graveyard. The one you once told me about." she said, wondering was he was thinking. "Figures she'd go there." he said to himself and once more dashed past Blizz. She turned around and tried to look at him but he was already gone. She took a step forward in his direction but stopped. There was no use in following him if he was going to keep that attitude. Furthermore, he was going to be OK. It was Somy who worried her the most. She walked towards the room's door. "Somy? I know you don't feel like coming out and I won't make you. But could you at least let me in. Please." Sadly, there was no response. Blizz looked at the scanner. She placed her hand on it but like Anic the machine just scanned and left the door closed. She then removed her glove and her five short little claws grew longer and sharper. She rapidly slashed the scanner and cut some cables inside, which made the door open. "What do you want?" Somy answered coldly without turning her face towards Blizz and still wrapped in her blanket. "I need to talk to you." Blizz said with determination. The door slid closed again and revealed a rather dark room. A scarce lighting made it easy to see the outlines of everything and everyone in there. Not that there was much to see, though. Somy sat on her bed. She was wearing a black dress, the design similar to the one Amy used to wear. "Black? Not that there's anything wrong, you like fine. But whatever happened to your pink clothes?" Blizz asked. Of course, that wasn't what she came to talk about but she was trying to be less serious about what was going on. She knew it was affecting Somy and the rest of the team. "Just tell me what you want or leave. I'm not in..." "The mood." Blizz interrupted to finish the sentence for her, cluing Somy that she was already aware that something was going on. Somy just stared at her, her eyes widened. Blizz felt weird. Like Anic, Somy had a deep sadness brewing in her eyes and most likely her soul. "No," Blizz said, steadily as possible, "I know what you're wondering and the answer's as simple as that. No; I don't know what this is about. But I would like to know. I feel kind of left out. I'm sorry if you begin feeling intruded by my question but I need to ask and I need for it to be answered: What's going on? What is it about today that has the team like this?" she asks anxiously. Somy sighs and bends her knees. She thinks about it and begins to tear up. She bits her lower lip, to keep herself from crying. Blizz walks in her direction and sits in her bed, right beside her. "It's not..." Somy stops with a pained sigh. She couldn't stand it. She wanted to cry. A horrifying desire to burst into tears consumed her and was leaving her breathless. She cleared her throat and sniffled a little. She wiped off her tears, at least the ones that had managed to escape her eyes. "It's not something I like to remember. In fact, I spent the few hours that have already passed trying to forget that or at least ignore it. Today... It was on this very day ten years ago that the original Sonic Team died. Along with part of our happiness..." she emptily says in a breaking voice. "I-I........ Oh, Somy. I didn't know. I'm so, so sorry." Blizz said woefully, almost ready to cry despite the fact that she had never met Sonic and Amy. "It was just so.... sudden and horrible. It was like a living nightmare that keeps returning to haunt us each year on this day," Somy continues, "I can tell you what happen if you like." she looks sadly at Blizz. Blizz just gets up with watery eyes. "Forget about it. I'm really sorry I bothered you. I'll leave, don't worry." she quickly said as she headed over to the door. "Wait." Somy stops her without making any movement. "I was pretty cold myself with you this morning." "No worries, I understand how you feel." Blizz said after stopping in her tracks. "It was still very wrong of me to do that to you. And I guess, it's been so long... I'd like to talk about it with you." Somy said. "It's OK, it was my bad. I'll leave you alone now." Blizz tried to continue. Somy stared sadly at her friend as she made her way to the door. "No, really. I changed my mind. I want to talk about it." Somy nearly yelled to keep Blizz from leaving. "Are you sure?" Blizz finally stops and looks back. "Yeah..." Somy said as Blizz came walking back. She grabbed a small seat she spotted near the door and sat next to Somy's bed. "Did Anic told you anything? Something at all?" Somy asked. "Nope." replied Blizz while gently shaking her head. "It almost seemed like the perfect day at the beginning, you know?," Somy began narrating, "A soft gentle breeze comforted me as I rested with my parents and Anic. When all of a sudden, I get this really strange and scary sensation. At first I figured it must have been my imagination, but soon my dad got the same feeling and finally got up. It was then that I knew something was wrong. We didn't know what was wrong, but for some reason I could feel the emotions. My dad was startled, my mom was starting to worry and as usual Anic was feeling totally carefree. I remember my dad kissing my mom then rushing off somewhere. I was afraid but my mom picked me up and hugged me to calm me down." she temporarilly stopped as the image was reborn in her mind. "He'll come back! You'll see!" she remembered Anic saying. "He never came back," she continued narrating, "My mom spent the rest of the day with me. That was the whole point. We had planned to spend that day together. Seeing my dad take off scared me; he always said that nothing could ever possibly be more important than spending a day like this one with us. But even so, he just took off and a chill ran up my spine. So like I said, Anic and I just spent the day with just our mom. The sunset arrived pretty quickly and reminded me of my dad. I loved watching the sunset with him but he hadn't returned yet. My mom adored sunsets but she was feeling pretty uneasy herself. Anic looked around anxiously..." Somy relives the short scene in her mind. "This is so boring. I wonder what could be taking dad so long." said Anic at that time. "That's when the trouble really began," Somy kept narrating, her voice lowered to hide her breaking voice and to prevent herself from crying, "Black clouds blew up from nowhere. Slowly, they covered the dazzling view. It was as if the darkness was devouring the shining sun. The three of us were shocked. I was almost ready to shout in fear. My mom was even more worried but she quickly got determined and picked up both of us. She said that she needed to do something very important and couldn't take us." she closes her eyes and the whole scene is reborn. Amy had Anic and Somy, holding them each by one hand as she took them towards a pretty humble house. She let go of Anic as she knocked on the door. A 14-year-old rabbit opened the door. She was wearing a white sleeveless outfit that covered from her neck to her knees. It had some orange adornments around the waist. Her dark brown hair was tied in a ponytail. "Hey, Cream. I'm pretty sure you're well aware of the situation." Amy assumed. Cream smiled as a little white echidna-bat with a bit of a resemblance to Knuckles walked in and stood behind Cream. "You too, Anic?" asked the boy. "Ro, I told you to stay back inside with your sister and Aura." Cream reminded him. "Oh, yeah. I forgot." he said with a playful smile. "Then get back inside." Cream insisted. "I see the others have already noticed the dilemma." stated Amy. "Well, if you don't mind being taken out of the battlefield to babysit, could you take care of the twins?" asked Amy, with some sort of hurried tone of voice. "The way things are going the babysitting might turn into an actual battlefield. Anyway, sure." Cream replied. "But mom!" the twin hedgehogs quickly complained. "No 'buts'." Amy ordered firmly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry to stop there but it's getting late and I'm tired plus i gotta check some RPG's before logging off. I got school tomorrow, otherwise I'd stay longer. Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow, that is, if at least one person replies. EDIT: Done fixing grrammar mistakes only. There it is.Now to wait for you to make a new chapter.Keep it up,girl!Oh,and one more thing,i also made a character almost like that Ro kid.Except he's red with dark purple wings and green eyes.Bat ears,bat wings,echidna dreadlocks,echidna tail and fists. I first thought of Rogue (Ro) around 2005 too. He looks just like Knuckles, with dreadlocks, the tail, Knuckles' fists. The white body, bat ears and bat wings are from Rouge. I gave him a nickname because many people make the common mistake of mixing his name (Rogue) with that of his mom (Rouge). He has a sister too. As for Anic, I got his name from Amy ("A") and Sonic ("nic") and afterwards I thought "what about 'So' and 'my'?" so I came up with his sis. To make them different from Ro and Kiri, they're fraternal twins. To tell the truth all my fcs are children to other main characters. Anyway, thanks for the comment. I'll continue now. CHAPTER #3: "That's When The Nightmare Began..." "That's when the nightmare began, and that was the last time I saw my mother." Somy said with much lament. She began feeling dizzy. Blizz looked at her worried. "You don't have to do this if you can't." Blizz said as she tries to get Somy to relax. "No, it's fine. I can go on." Somy replied with a smile. Once more, she took a deep breath. She then raised her sight to the ceiling. She missed them so. She then closed her eyes and the image was reborn in her mind. Amy kissed Anic and Somy good-bye. Anic walked inside Cream's house with a pout. Somy kept looking at her mom heading out on the horizon as Cream grabbed her hand and slowly pulled her inside. Cream was just about to close the door when Amy was no longer visible and Somy's eyes began to water. "It wasn't like any other day in my life. I knew something was wrong. Way wrong. And a premonition about something terrible overclouded my mind. And for just one instant I wished I could've cried my life away as I somehow came with the thought that they would never come again. I wish could have cried my life away. I usually don't know how right I am..." Somy told Blizz. The expression on her face said just that. She wanted to cry her life away. Blizz looked at her friend. A tear slipped from her eye and ran all over her cheek until it landed on the blanket. All of a sudden, Blizz felt Somy's emotions and felt like crying too. "We were already inside Cream's house..." Somy begins to talk while sobbing lightly. Her memory was amazing. She could visualize every aspect of Cream's house. Inside were Ro and Anic sitting in the floor, bored. Kiri, a red echidna-bat with beautiful sapphire eyes, was sitting in the sofa. Next to her was some sort of light-brown petalis. She had brown, short hair and a yellow dress. Kiri was pretty quiet herself. She stretched out her cute purple dress then just sat there like nothing. Somy, on the other hand walked towards the window and looked out. It all seemed so very dark inside. Cream took a quick look at the living room. "Listen, kids. I'm going to make an important call. I want you all to stay put." she ordered as she headed into a strange room. Ro let out a huge sigh and threw himself back against the floor. "I wish I could be out there with my mom and dad. They kick butt. I want to watch them!" said Ro naively. "Ha! I think my dad already beat the crud out of every bad guy causing trouble." Anic said with a laugh. "Blah, my dad must have already done it before your dad even got there." Ro chuckled. "You wish." Anic replied. They both looked at each other and with playful smiles Anic jumped at Ro and they began sparring all over the house. "Stop it, Ro. You're gonna wake up Aura." said Kiri with a frown. "Well, she had to get up sooner or later." Anic laughed as he tried to punch Ro, who evaded the hit by swiftly bending down and then instantly sent a kick towards Anic who blocked it with both of his arms. "It's not funny, Anic. Aura hasn't slept well in these days. Tails and Cosmo said so." Kiri answered. The boys ignored her and kept throwing punches and kicks at each other, each attack getting blocked or dodged by the other. Somy didn't pay them much attention. She just kept looking outside. Aura opened her eyes and woke up. Her emerald eyes were'nt very noticeable with her eyes half closed. "Don't tell me the guys woke you up already." Kiri said. Aura shook her head lightly. "No, I just felt like waking up. The nightmare didn't let me sleep." she said drowsily. Somy's ears twitched. She looked back at Aura. "Nightmare? Could she...?" A thought ran around Somy's mind. Aura sighed and managed to effortlessly find her way past the boys. She walked to where Somy was and looked outside. Somy kept looking at her. Wondering if she knew about what was going on. "She did know," Somy narrates, "She had spent nearly an entire week without sleep. She kept having nightmares that woke her up. She refused to tell what they were about. But at that moment..." the image returns. Aura looked outside. Her gorgeus eyes trembling in deep fear. She suddenly sits in the floor and bends her legs. She lowered her face and tears slipped from her eyes. They fell on the yellow amulet jewel that was on her chest. She then cups her hands together and sinks her face in. Somy hears a soft and gentle but pained cry coming from her. She then sits next to her, wanting to know the reason for her tears. "Why are you crying, Aura?" Somy asks with a whispering tone. Aura removed her hands from her face, which was covered on endless tears. "They won't come back..." she whispered with sorrow. Somy's eyes widened. The fearful tears made her eyes sparkle. "W-Why..... How could you say that? My dad said he'll come back. And every time he says that he keeps his word." Somy swallowed hard. "My nightmare..." "It's just a nightmare!" Somy interrupts with a desperate yell, gaining the others' attention. "It's not a nightmare. It's going to happen." Aura's voice begins to break. "What's going to happen?" Kiri asked afraid. Aura sniffles a little. "I don't know how. But they're not coming back. Something horrifying is going to happen and we can't stop it." Aura assures. "Like my mother's, my amulet can affect my emotions on certain ocassions. And that's depending on future events. That wasn't a dream. I could see someone's silhouette. I don't know who it was, but I could hear a voice saying to beware of what was to come." Aura explained. "What did you see in your dream?" Kiri asked anxiously. Aura looked at her friends and she began crying. "Something neither of us wants to know!" She outbursts into tears as she throws herself against the sofa. Ro looked out the window. This time he was worried. "I think we should go help." he said. "Nah, I'm sure Aura's just afraid." Anic says. "Well she's not a liar!" Kiri defends. "That's not what I'm saying. I know she isn't lying. I'm just saying that she's afraid and before you try to eat me I'm not calling her a coward either. It's normal to be afraid." Anic said. Kiri was no longer angry. She looked outside. "Ro, what's gonna happen to mom and dad?" she asked. Ro looked at her. He was getting pretty worried himself. But he didn't think it was right to make his little sister worry too. "I don't know, but I'm sure they'll be OK. It might take them a while to return but we'll see them soon. I'm sure of it." Ro replied, smiling half-heartedly. Kiri nodded with a sad face and headed over to where Cream was. Ro then looked outside. The whole idea was starting to scare him. His potent bat ears then hightened. He could hear something coming. Kiri's ears also hightened. Cream rushed into the living rooom. She looked around frantically. She gasped as she looked up. Ro and Kiri also looked up. "Look out!!!" along with Cream's yell the roof blew up. Ro covered himself with his arms as Kiri ran towards Aura. She tried to run with her but Aura refused to move. Cream ran to the two of them and picked them up as a huge fireball headed their way. She got out of the way with the two girls when she noticed that Somy and Anic were right in the middle. Cream knew she couldn't leave Aura and Kiri alone so she yelled at them. "Anic, Somy, run!" she cried. Somy's eyes widened as the fireball came at them. "I couldn't believe it. It was just so unreal. So sudden. So shocking." Somy kept narrating. Blizz was nearly breathless. She could just imagine the fearstriking moment. Somy didn't need to imagine. Just remember. The fireball was heading towards her and her brother. Anic freaked and finally took the situation serious. He instantly grabbed Somy's hand and ran at sound speed. He hid under a table. Surely that wasn't enough to protect them but it was the most a 5-year-old could think of at a critical moment like this one. "I could feel it. My mom's sorrow, my dad's pain. At that moment in time, it all hit me in the face like a huge smack," Somy told Blizz, "That's why Anic had to take me. That's why I couldn't react. It wasn't just the fear. I got a headache that soon turned into all kinds of feeling. Rage, hatred, fear, tiredness, anger, disappointment, deception, but most of all pain and regret. It was the one thing that hit me the most." The fireball had incinerated most of the living room. Anic and Somy were under the table. Somy began panting as her heartbeats increased at an enormous rate. She could barely breathe. It was getting harder and harder and harder. All of a sudden, her world had gone apart. "What do you mean, 'apart'?" Blizz asked Somy while she narrated. "Every feeling raced down on my mind. Everything I had felt back there and more. It all came down at me. It was too much. I couldn't think. I couldn't reason. I couldn't hear anything, not even what Cream was shouting at us. I couldn't move. All I could do was wait there for something to happen and something did. The assortment of emotions blew up inside my head. And then it was all empty. Nothing. I couldn't feel anything at all. I lost most of my consciousness. I plummetted against the floor. I laid there motionless. It was as if the life had gone out of me. I saw what was going on and I understood it but at the same time it wasn't in me to do anything at all. "Anic saw me and began crying. Cream ran to me, agitated. Nothing else seemed to be coming, at least for that short moment. She said something but I couldn't hear anything at all. I just looked at her. I didn't show happiness, fear, sadness, pain or anything. I was lost in my subconscious. I then managed to feel something. Anic's tear fell on my face and I felt it. I came back. I reacted and the first thing I did was scream in torment." Somy tightened her fists while holding the blanket. The memory created a storm in her mind. Blizz's face was already wet. She felt sorry for Somy. For everyone. "As I screamed Cream picked me up and hugged me. She was worried about me. That's just like her to care so much." Somy inhaled. The thought, thrashing in her mind. Cream held her tight in her arms. "We need to get out of here! Now!" she yelled. Just then, shrieks of horror from other people filled the air. Kiri grabbed Aura and tried taking her along but she still refused to move. Cream put Somy down and told Anic to look after her. She ran back and picked up Kiri and Aura. Just as they exited the house, another fireball came crashing down and managed to blow up the remains of it. The people living nearby panicked all over the place. They ran looking for refuge. Cream ran while carrying Kiri and Aura. She could see Anic holding Somy's hand and running off too. Ro flew near them. Another fireball crashed near them. The explosion blew off Ro a little far from Cream. "Ro!!! Are you OK?!?!" Cream yelled out. "I'm fine!" Ro warned. Cream searched where the voice had come from and saw him flying up above her. She then spotted him flying away from her. "Ro, come back!! Where are you going at a time like this?!?!" Cream begged for him to return. "I need to find mom and dad!" he yelled without stopping. He glimpsed back and saw Kiri looking straight at him. "Don't worry, sis. I'll be back with both of them, you'll see." Ro said in his mind as he flew off. Cream wanted to go after him but it was too dangerous to bring the others along. "We need to get away!" said Anic as he once more grabs Somy's hand and rushes off. Cream was about to continue fleeing when she realized that a fireball was going to crash over to where Anic was headed. "Stop!" once more she cried out. She had never felt so useless. Anic noticed the fireball but was too freaked out to react. Somy dug her heels onto the ground and brought herself and her brother to a screeching halt. With her renewed, excellent reflexes, she held Anic's hand tight and ran backwards, preventing both of them from being incinerated. Cream quickly grabbed her and pulled her along as she headed towards the forest. "Why the forest?," questioned Blizz, "Don't the plants catch on fire easily?" "Cream saw beyond that." Somy explained. She remembered Cream taking all of them towards a forest path. A fireball crashed in and a wildfire started. They continued, nontheless. They suddenly reached a lake. "Jump!" Cream shouted as they came close. "But..." Somy tried to say something but Cream gave her a quick tuck and held her hand tighter, almost enough to hurt her. "Trust me. It's going to be OK. We're going to be fine!" Cream said. They all jumped in. A fireball dunked right into the water, creating a curtain of vapor over the surface but turning into earth inside the water. Cream swam without letting go of the kids and made her way out. "We can't stay in the water. We've got to keep moving." she said as she kept pulling them along. But the fireballs soon stopped falling. Now they were in the middle of the forest, alone. "This isn't exactly what I had in mind when I told Amy the babysitting could turn into a battlefield." she said to herself in a vain effort to lift the mood. She decided to walk back. But as soon as they reached the water, Somy froze up. The fireball that had fallen in had been so close to crushing them before they jumped. Cream then decided to fly over. She grabbed Somy and Anic and crossed as Kiri carried Aura. "Aura can fly, you know?" Cream said to Kiri. "But she just won't do anything." Kiri sadly replied. Cream walked over to Aura. She was motionless. She could barely stand. She knew what had happened. She was well aware of everything. She didn't feel like doing much anymore. Cream saw her so traumatized and picked her up. Together, they walked back at their own pace. Once they had returned to the area where Cream's house was, they saw Espio, wounded. He was standing there, holding Ro in his arms. Ro's face was soaked in tears, yet his expression was empty. "We didn't know what had happened. Espio had been there during nearly the entire fight..." Somy stopped with a burdened look on her face. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once more, sorry for ending in a scene like this one, but my mom is saying that I need to get off the computer so I gotta hurry and finish everything I was going to do. More later. Oh, and before I forget, Somy obviously didn't narrate the bit where I wrote what Ro was thinking. But you can pretty much take it as she was narrating just about everything I narrated, to Blizz. EDIT: I fixed my grammar mistakes!! EDIT 2: Well, I think that's it for fixing my paragraphs... I only said I was good with fanfics because I remember some girls that posted at another fanfic I wrote at the other forum. They said that they liked my way of narrating because it put them right in the middle of the action and they also said that they cried whenever a character died because I made it sound too sad. In my opinion, this one I'm writing is better because it picks up elements from that other story and has more things added so you know. CHAPTER #4: The Worst Desire Blizz swallowed convulsively. She was ready to cry her friend's suffering. However, Somy was the first to cry. As tears escaped Blizz's eyes and fell on the floor, Somy had already started a light crying. She closed her eyes and strained them, but the tears kept falling. "They didn't make it," she cried, "Eggman had created a monster of some sort. But it was too powerful. The dreaded thing killed everyone, even Eggman, or at least that's what everyone thought for about nine years. "Our parents were killed in the fight. Until the monster's own power was too much. It inadvertedly selfdestructed. Espio and Ro's survivals were flukes. They were in the battlefield too. But the creature attacked Espio lightly and trapped him inside a small fissure. When Ro got there, Knuckles saw him and tried to keep him safe. In a desperate attempt, he remembered the fissure where Espio was. No one had any time to get him out of there. The monstrosity attacked at every moment. It was right then when Knuckles pushed Ro into the fissure. He only had enough time for that. Right after pushing Ro in, the monster killed him as well. "I'm not sure if I envy Ro or feel bad for him..." Somy said sadly. "What do you mean by that?" Blizz asked, trying to prevent her voice from breaking. "He was there to see them one last time. But at the same time, he was there to have his heart shattered. I wish I could've seen them one last time, but I would've hated seeing them suffering like that, to see them die. I don't think I could've lived through that." Somy sniffled. Blizz lowered her face. One more of her tears slipped and she watched as it quickly left her and dropped into the floor. It somehow made her feel sadder. The idea that she was crying for someone she had never known. Those people must have gone through a lot and they must have been very good for her to cry for them without having met them. A thought like that just ran through her head and for a moment she cried more but wasn't exactly sure why. "We were separated after that..." Somy continued. Blizz looked at her, a bit surprised. "Cream was affected too. Also, she had never been a mother. So taking care of us would've been too hard for her. "Espio had been living in a bit of depression on the four years before that. I don't know what it was but Cream told me that he just hadn't been the same since then. "Either way, he felt sorry for what happened, especially for Ro since he was there and saw part of what occured. He offered Cream to look after Ro. She hesitated but accepted. He offered to take care of Anic too but..." Somy stopped as an image returned to her. In it she remembered Anic looking out at a barren wasteland, site of the fight. "No...," Anic said with disbelief, "NOOOOO!!!" he cried with profound grief as he closed his eyes, placed his hands on his head and fell to his knees. He cried on the ground. The tears rained down from his eyes. "You said..... You said you'd come back!!," he gasped for air while crying, "Please!!! Please do come back! Don't leave! Please don't leave..." he whined. Aura looked at him. The scene made her feel worse. She just couldn't find a way to stop crying. "Anic refused to be separated from me," Somy narrated, "He said he wanted to be with me. Cream didn't want to separate us but she wasn't sure how to take care of all of us. When Anic refused to leave, she decided someone else had to go with Espio. Before she could even choose who, Aura ran to Espio and hugged him while crying." Somy closed her eyes, trying to calm down even though it was no use. The scene was reborn. In it, Aura was crying while hugging Espio, just as she said. "Take me away from this place!," she begged, "I don't want to be near here. I don't want the nightmare to follow me around anymore." she wept. Espio looked at Cream. She looked at him and nodded. "So Espio took them away," Somy said, "We were reunited about two years ago or so." Somy looked down. She then turned her back and threw herself against the bed. She planted her face on her pillow and continued to cry. Blizz sniffled and stood up. She exited the room and kept walking forward. Aura was in the same site. The place wasn't a barren waste land anymore. A serene feeling flowed. The site was covered in a darling flowerbed with rosy pink flowers. A huge beautiful and firm tree stood behind some tombstones. Each tombstone had the name of a victim. Many names were written, including 'Sonic', 'Amy', 'Knuckles', 'Rouge', 'Tails', 'Cosmo', 'Vector' and 'Charmy'. Aura was bent down in front of Tails and Cosmo's tombstones. She had placed a bouquet of yellow roses. She softly cried there. A voice reaches her. "Come on, boss. You're killing me." it said. She recognized the voice. She quickly wiped her tears off and looked back at him. "I'm sorry, Anic. You're right." she sniffled as she wiped her new tears. "You don't need to apologize." said Anic empathecally as he walked towards her. She rubbed her eyes and stood up. She cleared her throat. "We need to get even." he said seriously. Aura looked at him, a bit confused. "... 'Even'?" she gave up trying to guess. "We know where Eggman is. It's time we went to get our revenge." he declared. Her eyes widened. She was shocked and baffled at what he said. She shook her head from side to side. "Revenge?!," she shouted uncomfortably, "No. Absolutely not." her reply was determined this time. "What do you mean 'no'? He deserves to be punished. We have the right to avenge our beloved ones. It's only right. It's time for the doctor to pay for his sins!!" he insisted. "No, Anic. Nothing good can come from revenge." she replied. "Of course there is. Sweet, sweet revenge. He deserves it. We need to make justice!" he wanted revenge pretty badly. "Anic... Nothing good can come from this....." Aura stated. "He has to pay the consequences of his actions. Our tears will never bring them back." he said sorrowfully. "Neither will violence. And he has payed the consequences. He needed to become a cyborg in order to survive. Justice will be served when we throw him in jail." she responded. Anic scoffs. "Jail? Having him locked up might drive him crazy but then what? He'll still be alive. He'll still be able to ruin others lives." he said while lowering his face. "Which is why it's our duty to stop him," she answered, "We will not allow other innocent people to suffer as we have." She backed up her prior declaration. "But.... wouldn't it be easier if we just killed him and be done with it already?" he asked. "Bringing more hatred into our hearts will just make things worse." she answered. "Then what?! Are we supposed to forgive him?! Is that what you want?!" he desperately yelled. "That's not what I'm asking!" she yelled. Anic's eyes opened more. He was pretty sure that someone as pure as Aura would ask him to forgive. "You may think I'm some sort of 'saint' or something but I'm not. Not even I can forgive him. We should.... but it's too hard. If I can't do something then how can I ask my teammates to do the same? Which is why I'm not asking you to forgive. At least not this time. But I am asking you to forget about revenge. In the end, it's bitterness will just be your own downfall. It's a terrible emotion." she said. Anic looked away. She placed her hand on his cheek. He looked at her. The overwhelming sadness in his eyes darted her heart. Some tears slipped from her eyes. "We can stop him..." he tries to talk but she interrupts him. "No, Anic. Request denied. As you're leader I command that you are not to go looking for a fight against Eggman unless I say otherwise, is that clear?" she asked. He closed his eyes and bowed his head in both respect for her and disappointment in her decision. A sudden feeling of guilt ate away at her soul as she instantly hugged him and began crying. "I know it hurts but it just wouldn't be right! I don't want to lose anyone else! Please, Anic. Please promise me you won't do it. Promise me you'll obey my command. I don't want to overpower you or anything but please!" she begged. He gently pushed her away and wiped her tear with his hand. "I promise." he said. Aura sniffled and rubbed her mistreated face. "Thanks." she replied. She walked away and left. "She's right." said someone from behind. Anic turned. Blizz had caught up with him. "Yeah, well, I guess I was a bit of a jerk with her." said Anic as he turned around again, watching Aura leave. Blizz ran over to him. She jumped at him and hugged him from behind. She then planted a sweet kiss on his cheek. She squeezed him pretty hard as she kissed him and then let go of him. Once she was off of him, he panted and tried to catch his breath. He was either breathless because of the squeeze or because of the kiss. He turned around and looked at her. His face was blushing wildly. "W-W-W-W-W-What w-was that all a-about?" he didn't have enough air in his lungs to form a straight sentence. "It was just so sweet of you. You really care for her, huh?" she answered with a smile. "Oh, well, in a way, she's like a little sister to me." he finally caught his breath. "Yeah, I noticed. You and Haze both. The two of you are so attached to her. Ro's pretty attached to her but in a different way. A very suspicious way." said Blizz with a devious look in her eyes. "Define 'suspicious'." he asked playfully. "Oh, you know. He's just unusually sweet around her." she chuckled. Anic chuckled a little too. "Your sister told me what happened..." Blizz turned serious. "Oh." he didn't know what else to say. "I just wish I knew exactly what happened there." she lamented. "I think Cream knows."- he said with a sigh. "Cream, huh? Maybe I should ask her." Blizz figured. "Good luck with that." he said as he began to walk away. "Where are you going?" she asked. "I'm not sure yet. Maybe I'll walk around..." he said. The truth was that a bloodthirsty desire for revenge was crawling all over him. Blizz watched him walk away and went on her way over to Cream's house. I love the narration,too.Very creative.It gave me butterflies when i found out the kids find their parent's tombstones.I played Haunted by Disturbed to show how sad this one was.Keep at it.

Everyone said the first chapter was bloody and violent and now you're saying this one was sad. Wait for the climax. If you like sad and violent, that is. Anyway, I carry on. And I warn you NOT to mistake "singed" (burning) with "sang" (from singing). I'm sure mostly everyone understands but there might be people whose native tongue isn't English, like me. I sometimes get that confused and some people with different native tongue might mistake those two words just as well. CHAPTER #5: An Urge To Know Blizz kept walking towards Cream's house. The current events and everything Somy told her were buzzing around in her head. She then remembered what had happened just a few seconds ago when she hugged and kissed Anic. He sure was blushing. The mere thought made her blush and giggle a little to herself. She dismissed that from her mind as she slowly remembered how she got to meet her team. She lived in another dimension, with Blaze and Silver being her parents. But a strange virus killed Blaze. That same virus began to spread all over her world and her people began to take refuge in other worlds until there was basically no one left. When Silver became affected by it, he feared Blizz would get sick and die too. Consequently, he opened a portal to this dimension and sent her through, little before his own timed death. In a way, Blizz understood her friends' pain but not entirely. At least she had spent technically all of her childhood with her parents so even though she suffered, it wasn't as much as they did. She remembered that traveling through time and space had left her so worn out she reached this dimension unconscious. When she finally woke up she was in a bed inside a room. Standing next to her bed was Anic who had been waiting quite a while for her to wake up. Remembering this put a light smile in her face. She looked down. Anic was pretty sweet back then too. Not at all as to today. She sighed as she came closer to Cream's house. She missed her world. This one wasn't so bad, in fact, she loved it. But it just wasn't the same. At least everyone there had been kind enough to accept her. She came up to the door and knocked. Around that same time, Ro was guarding the Master Emerald. Aura arrived and sat in the ground near the shrine. She looked out at the horizon as a soothing breeze blew softly on her hair. "How are you feeling?" Ro asked with a rather melancholic tone. She sighed but didn't answer. "Well?" Ro wondered if something else was wrong. She was lost deep within her own thoughts. She looked down. A scream. She heard a pained scream. Her eyes trembled. The scream was repeated. She closed her eyes and strained them. Then, Anic. "It's time we went to get our revenge." she remembered him saying. A tear slipped from her eye when a hand reaches out to her from behind and grabs her shoulder. She freaks but doesn't yell or anything. As a reaction she turned around spooked. It was Ro. "Oh, uh, sorry. Did I scare you?" he said apologizing. She exhaled with relief and turned back around. "It's OK. I know you didn't mean it." she replied calmly. He sat next to her and sighed profoundly. He looked at her. She looked so beautiful but at the same time so very fragile and sad. He felt bad for her. He stood up again. "Shame that such a nice day like today will be wasted. Although I think it would have worsen our mood if it weren't so calm..." he said, trying to get her to talk. Unfortunately, not a word escaped her lips. Only more tears left her eyes. He couldn't take it. He despised seeing her so miserable. "Aura, please, say something." he begged. "Sorry...... I just......." her breaking voice stopped her. Ro bent on his knees and closed his hand a little. He gently placed it underneath her chin and made her look at him. Her watery green eyes sparkled and glistened like shining emeralds. Should he admire her beauty or recoil from her tormenting grief? The answer became clear soon enough as countless tears flooded her eyes and rained down to the ground. Each falling tear, as they were touched by sunlight, looked as bright as the night stars. He instantly placed both of his hands in her face, one in each cheek and he pulled her towards his face. He placed her forehead against his. She looked at his eyes then closed hers. She began to cry out loud but he didn't let go of her. However, she managed to slip from his hold when she tried to hug him. He didn't mind. He hugged her back and embraced her as she cried. Soon, a few tears escaped him too. Her pure voice pierced right through his heart as she innocently let go of the burden. He couldn't stop it. More and more tears escaped him as well. He knew what she felt. Although he was the only one who went to the battlefield at the moment of the incident, she had already foreseen the entire event in her dreams. Nightmares that haunted her back then and were to came back to make her life impossible whenever this time was near. It was remembering the whole dilemma what caused her to develop the saddened personality that normally describes her daily. Through ten years she had learned to control herself. But today the feelings overcrowded her being and she couldn't take it. She hugged him harder as she continued to cry. Her voice about to break and leave her throat sore, but she couldn't care any less about that now. If she didn't cry then surely her emotions would kill her. Ro didn't like seeing her suffer so much. As he continued to hold her while she wept he remembered the incident all too perfectly. His tears didn't stop either. He didn't cry out loud. It just didn't seem "manly", plus he didn't want Aura to hear him cry. She hates hearing her friends' suffering. Of course they were suffering too. That was part of the reason she hugged him, because she knew he was in pain too. "So you want to know?" Cream asked Blizz. They were already inside her house. At that time, Cream was 24. She wore a long, simple yet beautiful white dress. It reached her shoes but it didn't matter. It had been years since she stopped fighting. The new Sonic Team was handling things well. Aura was a brilliant leader. She poured Blizz a cup of tea and they both sat at the table to talk. "Anic said you knew. Is it true?" Blizz asked as she put two marshmallows on her tea. Cream looked down at her cup. The sunlight coming in through the window was reflected on the tea. It made it look so delicious, but she remained silent with a gloomy appearance. Her eyes already looked watery but her entire face showed a serious expression. She lifted her cup over to her lips and blew on it. She closed her eyes and drank some patiently in order to calm down. Blizz looked at her. She sighed and looked outside the window. The serene silence in that room was enough to make one feel peaceful. But knowing what day it was made the mood plummet harshly into the ground. Soon, being all quiet made Blizz feel a little crazy and stuffy. She tightened her fists. She inhaled and exhaled as she looked down at her lap. She closed her eyes and strained them. The thing was that she wanted to know exactly what happened. At a time like this she would turn highly impatient as noted. Then again, curiosity killed the cat. A cat like her could've found this irony pretty funny if it weren't happening at a time like this. She needed to remain calm even though the suspense was devouring her. She couldn't rush Cream: it was rude and it would worsen the situation. "I'll tell you..." Cream finally said. She sighed relief. To tell the truth she was starting to believe Cream wouldn't talk. "Thank you." she said calmly as she grabbed her teacup and took another sip. The tea was delightful. Now that she thought about it, it would've been better if she had drunk it before getting so desperate. It could have helped ease up her nerves. "Little before Espio took Aura and Ro away, I asked him what had happened. At first he couldn't find a way to talk. He didn't know how to put things straight and just say that all my dear friends were dead. But, finally, he talked." she could remember the same barren wasteland Somy did. The sky was vermilion and the clouds were pitch black. From time to time, a dry harsh wind would blow in. "This is where they were killed." said Espio. Cream looked terrified at the place. She took a few steps forward and looked at it. A great sadness befell her. "This is terrible... Who would've thought something like this could ever happen?" she said with much grief. She sniffled a little and looked back. Aura was silently looking at the view. Her cute little face, soaked in tears. The others were crying out loud, calling for their parents. Ro was away from the others. He didn't cry out loud either but it was only because he had cried his breath away a moment ago. He just sat in the dirt, staring sadly at the horizon. "What did happened?" asked Cream. Espio looked at her. He then turned his sight to the site and talked firmly. "We had just received a call requiring assistence. We then heard that the Sonic Team along some other fighters were struggling to hold back a threat. A huge one. If they needed our help then we figured it must have been something pretty big. Turns out that 'pretty big' didn't even began to describe the problem. "Eggman had gathered data from various subjects: Shadow, Chaos, the Metarex, etc., etc. He was trying to create the ultimate creature. He experimented with all that stuff. His experiment was almost ruined when Sonic sensed the energy emmited from the abomination. He found Eggman's lair and tried to stop him, but it all was for nothing when the thing managed to awaken. Eggman rejoiced for a few minutes thinking that he had found a way to kill Sonic. "The monstrosity was like an skeleton covered in green ooze. Little by little, its own body created a black sludge that coated its body. The thing first targetted Eggman. He freaked out and ordered it to stop but it shot acid at him and killed him." Espio said in Cream's memory. "But isn't Eggman alive?" Blizz asked Cream. "Yes. It just seemed like he was killed. He was actually dying. Before his body finally gave up he did something. I don't know what the heck it was but I just know that after many years, he returned a few months before you came here. It took him all that time to 'fix' himself." Cream explained. "Oh. Sorry for interrupting. Please, do continue." replied Blizz with courtesy as she lifted her cup and drank more of her tea. Cream smiled half-heartedly as she closed her eyes again. She managed to visualize it all. In her memory, she was still talking to Espio. "How do you know all that? Were you there?" she asked him. "Nah. Sonic filled me in on the details. Everything's confirmed by the authorities that went there to investigate. Eggman's body was missing. Apparently the acid did away with him. Anyhow... It just happened. "Dark clouds ate away at the sunset. Vector, Charmy and I were on our way when we saw something strange up ahead. We stopped only to be utterly shocked and disgusted. Rouge's body was laying there. She was killed and most of her body was bathed in blood. The blood was pretty warm so it hadn't been too long since she was killed. We didn't want to desert her body but what good could've come from bringing it along?" Espio stopped with a sigh. "We carried on until we ran into Sonic. He was ill and Amy had his arm wrapped around her neck. She was dragging him, trying to take him to safety. He insisted that he wanted to fight but Amy tried to force him to stay put. When we got there we treated most of his minor injuries as he told us the story. "He explained how enraged and emotionally unstable Knuckles was. He was just about as wounded and beaten up as Sonic but his anger allowed him to chase after the thing. Tails and cosmo had arrived during Rouge's death. They decided to follow Knuckles and help him. Cosmo had volunteered to stay behind and help Sonic but Amy got there just in time and told Cosmo to leave him to her. "After Sonic was OK, we offered to take care of the problem but he said that no one could stop him from fighting. Amy then stated that if he was going then she wasn't going to abandon him. He then tried to convince her to head back but she said that she needed to do it for him and for her twins. "So we all headed there. When we arrived, everyone who had come to help had been killed. Knuckles, Tails and Cosmo were fighting just to survive and even that seemed impossible. The thing was generating energy at all times. It was already big enough to crush a 10-story building. They were battling. The thing kept throwing everything back at them and more. "Cosmo was then hit. She was knocked into the ground, breathing heavily. She had been miraculously revived and brought together with Tails a pretty long time ago. But now, there were no miracles left. Tails ran to her. Just as he held her in his arms, the creature grew some sort of tentacles or something. A tentacle hardened and was shot at them like an arrow. It pierced right through both of their hearts. As it retracted, it dragged Tails' dead body along and dropped it away from Cosmo. "Amy and Sonic instantly grieved. Then Amy was fueled up by her own anger. She charged at the beast. Sonic ran after her. The monster was about to hit her with its tentacle when Sonic jumped in and swooped her out of the way. "We tried creating a diversion, but the thing grabbed Charmy and ripped him apart. Vector tried going after Charmy. I wanted to stop him but it spit acid on him. Vector's body began to incinerate when the beast looked at me and tried to attack. I ran. While running I threw some shuriken but they weren't enough to even tickle it. As a last resort, I turned invisible and got out of the way until I could figure out what to do. "It grew worse. Everything it touched began catching fire. It howled at the sky and spit some sort of fireballs that landed randomnly all around the area. It covered anything within 200 miles away, or so I was told by a messenger sent to me by the authorities. The fireballs stopped falling. I then tried jumping on the monster. It somehow sensed me and grabbed a bomb from one of the fighters' dead bodies. Some of them were carrying eplossives devices to attack with but never got the chance. The projectile reacted to the heat from the monsters body and blew as it came in contact with me. I turned back visible and fell on a small fissure on the ground. I struggled to get up. After a few tries I managed to do so but couldn't move much. "Just then Sonic rushed in and offered to help me but just as he stopped by the thing caught him. Amy ran to him and grabbed him. Sonic's body was slowly sinking into the creature's sludge-like coating. Amy tried to pull him out but Sonic's body was rapidly burning. He then used the little bit of remaining energy and pushed her away. Knuckles ran in and caught her before she imapcted against the ground. "Just then a young voice was heard calling out. 'Rogue', is it?" Espio swallowed after asking. Cream looked at him teary and nodded. "Yeah, that's Rogue..." she said while turning around and looking at the kid. She looked back at Espio. "Well, it continued. The kid flew in and Knuckles yelled at him, telling him to go away but he refused to. The creature prepared for another assault. Knuckles grabbed Rogue and ran, trying to keep him safe. "Amy threw her Piko Piko Hammer. The monster deflected it and grabbed her. It then held her against a rock. It slowly and cruelly choked her. It's body, heating up. Some orange bubbles appeared all over the beast's body. It's body kept heating up. The rock melting; Amy's body singed. She died. "Knuckles then remembered me being there. The monster hadn't really noticed I had falled there. It probably thought I was dead already. Knuckles called out to me and ran forward. He pushed his son inside and I caught him. The kid yelled at me and demanded that I let go. I would've done it if it weren't for the fact that he could fly out and expose himself. I held on to him. Turned out, that just like Sonic, the monster took advantage of seeing Knuckles stay put even though it was for so short. It already had him in its grip. The boy slipped from mine. He peered outside as he prepared to fly out; he stopped when he saw the monster with Knuckles held tight. The beast wrapped one tentacle around one of Knuckles' arms and another tentacle around the other arm and held him high in the air. The orange bubbles were disgustingly growing. The beast screeched and howled as it pulled both of Knuckles' arms on opposite directions and yanked him apart. The boy let out an earsplitting shriek when he saw Knuckles torned on two pieces. "The bubbles were growing out of control. The monster had generated too much energy. I grabbed the kid and pulled him inside as the creature blew up. After that, we stayed there until I got the strenght to climb out. The kid was too heartbroken to move. I understand." the memory ended. Cream reopened her teary eyes. Blizz looked at her, terrified by the tale. She held her hand in front of her mouth. Neither of them spoke. Cream looked at Blizz. She sured seemed lucky not having to go through something like that. Cream took another sip of her tea to calm her aching throat. It hurt really badly after holding back the urge to cry. She didn't comment or anything, though. Blizz looked at the tea. It was already getting cold, but there wasn't much left inside. She took a sip as a tear slipped. She finished drinking and lowered her head. She then looked out the window, sadly. "It's tiranny hasn't stopped, has it?" she said reluctantly. "Hmm?" Cream didn't quite got what she meant. "I was in such a hurry to know. Now I sort of wish I hadn't asked," she swallowed part of her sadness, "The monster, its memory still lives inside of you, my team and probably even Espio. It's terrible to know that something so gruesome like that actually happened. I guess the original Sonic Team was braver than I thought." she replied. She then stood up and bowed towards Cream. "Thanks for telling me, anyway." she thanked. "You're welcome, sweetie. You can ask me anything you feel like at any given time." Cream said as she continued to drink her tea. Starting with chapter 2: I didn't notice any mistakes. And I think its good how you ended it in a cliffhanger(sorta you know.) Chapter 3: Wow, so many OC's, and all are the result of my favorite shippings And I like the way you ended this one in a more suspenful cliffhanger than the last one. Chapter 4: Quote: Aura was in the same site. The place wasn't a barren waste land anymore. A serene feeling flowed. The site was covered in a darling flowerbed with rosy pink flowers. A huge beautiful and firm tree stood behind some tombstones. Each tombstone had the name of a victim. Many names were written, including 'Sonic', 'Amy', 'Knuckles', 'Rouge', 'Tails', 'Cosmo', 'Vector' and 'Charmy'. Aura was bent down in front of Tails and Cosmo's tombstones. She had placed a bouquet of yellow roses. She softly cried there. No there aren't any mistakes, just wanted to point out how sad this chapter is, especially this line. I'll admit, almost cried.(I'm serious) Great chapter by the way. Chapter 5: Edit: Here comes the review. Starting with some mistakes I noticed. Quote: It pierced right through both of their hearts. Oh, no worries, I understand. To tell the truth I'm a bit sidetracked on my Precalculus schoolwork. I know what the teacher's discussing but I haven't exactly read the text book or summarized the lessons on my notebook. The teacher is going to discuss lesson 2-2 and I'm still coopying lesson 1-5. I guess I'm taking it easy because these first few lessons are actually an Algebra review. I know I got various grammar mistakes but I'll have to fix them another day. Anyway, I thank you and SuperWerewolf for your posts and I hope my chapters don't get too exaggerating. If they do then please tell me. CHAPTER #6: Fear Aura continued crying on Ro's arms. Ro wanted to comfort her but he wasn't sure what to do exactly. Her weeping began to stop. She had cried too much. Her throat was so sore she could barely even talk. She was already calming down. She swallowed a bit and then exhaled. She sniffled a little and was feeling more serene. Her head was resting on Ro's shoulder. She coughed lightly since crying left her breathless. She closed her eyes. Somehow she was starting to feel better. Ro was feeling a bit more relieved now that she was fine. He moved his head slightly and looked up. One last tear slipped from his eye, which fell on Aura. A memory was reborn in her mind. They had been reunited with Anic, Somy, Kiri and Cream just two years ago. She remembered that Espio had taken them pretty far away so they had to travel for a few hours to return. They arrived on a rainy night. A strange desire overcame Aura. The reason why she had asked Espio to take her away was so she would never have to see the place where her family died. But she felt guilty after fleeing from there. She thought about it during the eight years she lived after the incident. She figured that she needed to be strong enough to face the facts. So she asked Espio to take her to the site of the battle. Ro hesitated. He didn't seem like if he wanted to go but she pleeded him to go with her and Espio and he finally decided to accompany them. When they went it wasn't what Aura remembered. The place looked beautiful. Ro didn't seem so troubled anymore. They walked forward as the rain grew a bit harder. Ro stops as he notices something up ahead. Aura kept walking until she spotted the tombstones. She stopped. Her face looked rather pale and a dreadful feeling came back. She felt like closing her eyes and running away. It was like a bad dream no one could wake up from. Yet she stood there. She just stared at the tombstones. Ro walked towards her. He looked sadly at the tombstones and took a few steps forward. Although he didn't show it, Aura could tell he was feeling terrible. Espio walked towards her and stopped. He looked regretfully at the tombstones, closed his eyes, bowed his head and payed respect for his dead allies. Ro swallowed hard as he looked around. He then realized two of the tombstones. They called his attention for a good reason. They read 'Knuckles' and 'Rouge'. His eyes trembled. He remembered the bloody scene where his father died. It rained a bit harder but no wild winds or deafening thunders filled the moment. Just the grief that echoed all over their hearts. He sighed and lowered his head. His uncontrollable pain gave him a horrible headache that made the place spin so much he was getting dizzy. He finally couldn't take it. He fell to his knees in front of the two tombstones. Aura raised her teary face when she noticed him fall. He was about to pass out when he firmly planted his hands against the ground. His arms began shaking. He was about to faint. He could feel it. Aura walked towards him. She bent on her knees next to him. "Cry if you need to. No one will think any less of you and it'll keep you from dying too soon." she told him. He raised his face and looked at her. It was wet but mostly by his own tears rather than by the abundant rain. His eyes suggested a desperation to cry it all out and he was already breathless from fighting against his own anxiety. He looked at the tombstone then placed his hands on it. This was the one that read 'Knuckles'. "I could've helped him. Why didn't I do anything...?" he said choking on his own sadness. "I'm afraid... you couldn't have done anything. But it's not your fault! It could never be." Aura said while sniffling. The rain kept pouring down on them. They were soaking wet. "I could've at least tried. I did nothing to help him and he died because of me." Ro replied with a shivering voice. It was getting cold and he was feeling awful. "No, he didn't. Please, don't blame yourself. It's not fair. You shouldn't punish yourself for something you didn't do." Aura nearly cried. Ro looked at the tombstone. He closed his eyes and strained them so hard the tears wouldn't stop flowing. He yelled out of frustration and slammed his head against the tombstone. Aura gasped and instantly covered her mouth with both hands. The rain washed Ro's blood and tears off the tombstones. He didn't remove his head for a while. The rain continued to wash away his deception. A tiny puddle of tears, rainwater and blood formed in front of the tombstone. He then moved back his head a little more. His forehead was bleeding and his eyes were swollen. He sniffled a little. Aura then hugged him. And he cried lightly on her shoulder. Like that, Aura snapped out and saw herself resting on his shoulder. He was comforting her just as she had comforted him back then. She then remembered the tears that he seemed to have dropped. "Are you OK?" she asked softly. "Are you OK?" "A bit nostalgic but I think my headache's finally easing up." she said spiritlessly. He gently pushed her away from him and looked at her. There were a few tears left in her face. He wiped them away with his hand and she willingly placed her forehead on top of his. She grabbed his other hand and held it tight. "Thanks." she answered. She looked at him and he looked at her. He blinked a little. He looked down and saw her holding his hand. He then placed the other one on her face as he became mesmerized by her innocent eyes. He gently and softly pulled her face towards his. They both began to slowly close their eyes as their lips were about to lock together in a kiss. Just then a quick thought haunted him. What if she was killed too? Could he really bear to love and lose her at the same time? How much more would he suffer if they killed her? He was frightened by that thought. Somehow he got sick in his stomach and nearly began to cry again. Their lips were just about to touch when he lets go and gets back. She quickly opened her eyes and looked at him. He felt an unbelievable pain. He loved her. He wished he could've kissed her. He wished he could've told her how he felt. But he was afraid he would lose her all the same. "I'm sorry." he said as he looked away. Seeing her so miserable, loving her so much, both suffering insanely. If he were to look at her again he would probably die out of so many emotions. She looked at him and lowered her head. She stood up. "No, I'm sorry. It's my fault." she replied with a guilty tone. She turned around and headed over to headquarters. Kiri and Haze were walking together at the beach. They held hands as the waves washed on their shoes. Kiri looked at the waves that hit the coast. She sighed with a burdened tone. "This day is always so sad," she said as she looked out at the sea then up, "My mom used to love this beach. She was constantly coming here... I miss her so. My dad too." she said while looking at the sky. "Well, at least you met her." replied her boyfriend. "Why do you say that?" she asked him anxiously. Haze kept looking forward. He shrugged his shoulders. "I..... I never met her. She passed away the day I was born." he confesed. Kiri stopped and held his hand tightly, making him stop too. She looked at him, grieving. "Why didn't you tell me that? I'm your girlfriend but you never tell me anything. Why? Don't you trust me?" "What?! That's crazy talk, of course I trust you." he answered as he kissed her hand. She took her hand out of his and took a step back. "Then why don't you tell me." she asked. "Because...," he looked worn out, "because I know, I pretty much understand what you went through. And I know that you love me. If you were to know what happened to me, well, it isn't as bad as what happened to you. But it's still awful. You care about enough to let me know that you're capable of crying my misfortunes. I don't want to make you suffer any more than you already are." he honestly expressed. She was touched by his words. Maybe she wasn't suffering as much as her other friends because she at least had him. She ran to him and jumped at his arms. She hugged and then kissed him. After that, she rested her head on his chest. "Yeah, but... I want to help you. That's all. I'm also sorry." she added. "Why?" he wondered. "Because I already made you suffer with what happened to me." she stopped as he embraced her harder. "You don't have to worry about that. I like knowing you trust me. I'm just... afraid of the pain I could cause you." he said as they both continued to walk along the coast. Anic walked along a lonely trail. The path was embordered by many trees. He allowed his feet to guide him since he was lost deep in his thoughts. The desire for revenge was overpowering. But he had promised Aura. Blizz was right. Aura was probably the saddest since she had basically no one after Tails and Cosmo's deaths. Anic had Somy for as long as possible. Kiri had Ro. Blizz explained that she had her dad, Silver, until the end. They didn't know much about Haze but he had explained to Cream once that he was Shadow's son. Everyone had thought he had died after he disappeared during the Metarex incident. It didn't really matter anymore since Shadow had also died. It's the reason why he was jumping from planet to planet. Anic had pretty much suspected it even before Haze explained. Cream had shown him a picture of Shadow once. Haze looked exactly like Shadow except for his fur being a pure gray color instead of black. Haze apparently knew a lot about Shadow's past. Maybe Shadow had finally found out about everything and told his son about it. Nevertheless, Haze recognized Anic as Sonic's 'look-alike' and Somy as Amy's 'look-alike'. He had also recognized Aura as a seedrian. Anic became a bit worried about that. Like he already knew, Aura had basically no one. It wasn't hard for him to love her as a sister. It was kind of ironic since Sonic cared for Tails as a little brother. Anyhow, Shadow once tried to kill Cosmo. Would Haze feel certain uncomfort being around her? Not really. He came to like Aura like the sister he never had. Although Haze never commented about it, Anic was pretty sure he must have confused Ro with Knuckles, then again the white color and the bat aspects were a give away. He also remembered that Haze was shocked to see Kiri. 'Miss Kiruby' as Haze initially adressed her. Anic chuckled to himself. It was pretty obvious Haze liked her. Strange since Kiri didn't exactly look like Rouge, but by her own kind of natural beauty one could tell she was her daughter. Anic then realized how strange was it that by thinking about one simple thing he could remember so much. He probably hadn't noticed that since lately he had been thinking mostly about this day, the memory of his parents and about having revenge. But then the nearly forgotten wish for revenge returned. He stopped right on his tracks. He looked forward and realize that he had already arrived. The headquarters were just a few feet away from him. He looked at it. Hesitating. Should he keep his promise or get what he wants? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm gonna stop there because I'm hunggry and kinda tired from school. BTW, SuperWerewolf, I'm sorry if you feel that I stole the whole 'beach scene' from your story but I had already been thinking of using it ffor this one. So, sorry... I just read my chapters as fast as I could to fix grammar mistakes. I understand the last parragraph from the sixth chapter was pretty boring so, sorry about that. BTW, Dark Demon, I mentioned Shadow on Chapter six. I'll probably mention him again further ahead. SuperWerewolf, I want to thank you for trying to keep this story on the first page but (I'm not saying this for me it's so you don't get in trouble with mods or tattletales) try not to double post, OK? Another thing I'd like to say: I'm not really a silvlaze fan. I've never played any videogames about them or anything, I just read part of their bios and saw people writing stuff about silvlaze. So I tried it out. Just wanted to make that clear in case someone comes along to talk to me about them or ask questions. (Boy, I'm sure chatty today...) CHAPTER #7: Always Alone... Anic kept staring at HQ. He closed his eyes and strained them, trying to forget that horrifying desire. He sighed then turned around. This was it. He was oficially going nuts. A frightful desire for revenge was nawing at his bones. His parents, they never came back. He, his sister and their friends went through so much. It was all there. All that frustration, the anger, the hatred, the fear and most of all, the pain. His mind was finally made up. He began walking towards Eggman's base. It was pretty far away. He could get there in a flash if he ran but he didn't wanted to. If he went to get his revenge then he would be going against Aura's wishes. He couldn't bear making her suffer. The decision was clear. He had to do this alone. And he would have to say his farewell. He couldn't come back after disobeying Aura. Not ever. At least that's what he felt like. So if this was his last time with everyone then he shouldn't leave so quickly. He continued to walk along the path. Kiri and Haze were still walking in the beach. They held each other's hands. Kiri maintained her sight on the sand beneath her shoes. As she looked forward she instantly visualized the day of the incident. She saw herself and Ro running as kids. They were running along the coast. Both of them laughing. Kiri was in the lead. She looked back and saw Ro catching up. "Come on, slowpoke!" she amusedly shouted in the air. Rouge watched them from afar. She was lightly smiling. The sunset had painted the beach in various gorgeus colors. Kiri was running and laughing as she came to a stop. She saw Knuckles standing up ahead. He looked slightly older and had a scar across his right eye. Her face shone with glee as she excitedly jumps and flies over to him. He ran towards her and caught her in midair. He looked at her, shocked. "You flew." he said with his mouth opened. Kiri pouted and crossed her arms. "Well you would know that I learned to fly two weeks ago if you had come to visit." she said toyfully. "Sorry, I guess I was busy." he said with an embarrassed smile. "You're always busy with the Master Emerald." Kiri sadly complained. "Are you mad with me?" he asks. "........... Maybe." she answers. "Dad!" Ro screams in delight. "Hey, Rogue! What have you been up to, buddy?" Knuckles asks gladly. "Heh. I've been practicing my combat skills. Do you want to see, dad?" he asked anxiously. "As soon as Kiruby stops being mad at me." Knuckles answered. "Why wouldn't she be angry?," Rouge says with a smile as she walks in, "You haven't visited in over a month and I'm tired of having to go look for you at Angel Island." Rouge says as she imitates her daughter's pout. Kiri then jumped out of Knuckles arms and walked towards Rouge. The two of them crossed their arms and turned around, supposedly giving Knuckles the cold shoulder. Knuckles chuckles a little and walks towards them. "Allow me to make it up to my two favorite girls." he said as he picked up Kiri and threw her in the air. She squeals in delight and lands on Knuckles arms. He then placed her on the sand where she laughed so hard she just had to sit down. Knuckles then looked at Rouge. Once more she pretended to pout but stopped for a brief second and kissed him. After the kiss was over she pushed him down. He sat in the sand and looked at her. "I said I was sorry, didn't I?" he toyed. She smiled at him deviously and began to walk away. Ro and Kiri jumped at Knuckles. They were happy to see him. "Hey, dad." Ro started. "Yeah?" "I was wondering..." "Go on." Knuckles replied relaxed. "If you and mom can live together again." Ro said. Knuckles looked at him speechless. He looked at Rouge and she looked back at him. They both looked away from each other with grayed faces. "Listen, Ro. It's just that guarding the Master Emerald is important. It's not that I don't love your mother. There's a reason why you and Kiri were born, after all. It's just that we have a few things we disagree on." Knuckles answered sadly. "Oh." Ro replied sadly. All of a sudden, Rouge hears something unusual and looks up. Kiri and Ro also hear it and turn their sights to the sky. Knuckles then wonders what had called their attention and looks in the same direction. There it came. The dark clouds. They were pretty far away but it was obvious something was going to happen. Knuckles quickly made way in that direction just to be stopped by Ro. "Wait, let me go with you!" he said. "No, it could be dangerous so stay." Knuckles ordered. "Come on, dad. We never get to be with you." Kiri complained as she ran towards them. Knuckles looked at Rouge and she nodded. He bent down beside them. "Your mother and I are going somewhere but you can't come. But if you want to do something to help, well...... I think I know what you can do." he told them. "What is it?" Ro wanted to know now. "I need you two to take good care of each other." he answered. "But won't Cream be taking care of us?" asked Kiri. "She'll be too busy taking care of Anic, Somy and Aura." he said. "How do you know they'll be there?" asked Ro. "Knowing their parents, it would be unnatural for them not to be in the action." said Rouge. Kiri looked at Knuckles. "Do you promise?" he asked. She nodded hesitangly. The memory was shattered. She was once more walking down the beach with her boyfriend. Tears left her. Once more, an illusion comes to her. She remembered watching some sort of paramedics taking Rouge's cadaver away after the incident. She looked at them. She could see them running off further and further with her mother. A deep sadness filled her. She ran off after them. "Mommy! Mommy!," she screamed desperately as Cream chased her, "No! Mom! Dad! Come back!" Kiri was forced to a stop by Cream, who grabbed her and hugged her to ease up the pain. Kiri cried together with Cream. She was left there in her arms as she saw the ambulance drive off. The illusion stopped. Her beautiful face looked sadder now. Haze noticed her. "What's wrong?" he asked worried. She looked at him. She could see the memory returning to life right before her own eyes. Espio was taking Ro and Aura away. Cream held her gently. She saw them walking away. Away from her. She opened up her wings and set herself free from Cream's grip as she ran towards them. "Don't leave me alone! Don't leave me alone!" she cried. They continued to move forward without looking back. "Rogue! Auraliz! Come back, please!" she yelled as she tripped and fell on the ground. Ro and Aura looked back and saw her lying in the dirt. They ran to her and picked her up. She then hugged them both as hard as she could. "Please, don't leave me alone. I beg of you!" she continued to cry. "We'll be back." Ro said emptily. She looked at them. "KIRUBY!!!" a yell woke her up. She was standing in the beach. Haze had his hands on her shoulders. "Kiruby.... Are you OK?," he asked scared, "You got lost. You just wouldn't respond." She looked at him. Her jaw slightly opened as tears poured from her eyes. "Answer me." he pleeded. She couldn't hold off her tears. She gasped for air and lowered her head. She began crying. "Please, Haze. Don't leave me alone." she cried. "What?" he didn't understand what was wrong. While crying she saw herself two years ago. She looked practically the same. A red echidna-bat with long dreadlocks. She was wearing the same as now: a black strapless top and a black mini skirt. Some heart-shaped purple adornments similar to the ones Rouge wore in pink. She also had white gloves and white boots. She liked checking in on the Master Emerald every once in a while. After all, it was so important it constantly kept her father away from her. A hand with spiked knuckles and dark gray gloves grabbed the hand with which she softly rubbed the precious jewel. She backed away as she realized that a white echidna-bat with a powerful look-alike to Knuckles stood there. "I told you I'd come back." he said dryly. "Huh?" she was confused. His frown instantly turned into a smile. "What? You don't remember me?" he asked. Her eyes watered. She ran to him and hugged him. "Ro! You came back!" she yelled in sheer happiness. "Of course we did. We would never abandon you." said a voice behind him. Kiri opened her eyes. A petalis stood there. She wore a strapless golden dress. Some strands of her brown long hair were curled along a tiny cute little vine-like root which in the end tied her hair together as a ponytail. In the middle of the ponytail, a yellow rose. Kiri wasn't sure who she was until she noticed the petalis' soulful eyes. "Aura?!" she asked as she let go of Ro, astonished by her friend's radical change. "A lot can change in eight years." Aura replied with a warm smile as she shrugged her shoulders. Kiri was back in reality. Her head held low and her tears fell in the sand. She just couldn't stop herself from crying. "Please, Haze. Don't leave me alone. Don't abandon me." she pleeded again. He wasn't excatly sure what was wrong but he hugged her then kissed her forehead. "I won't. I promise." he assured her. Aura walked towards HQ. She was thinking about what had just happened. She tried to kiss Ro. She wasn't sure what had fallen over her to act that way. Maybe a cry for love? Nevertheless, she figured she shouldn't have tried that. Just then, she ran into Blizz. "Oh. Hello, Blizz. How are you?" she asked. "I'm fine. But...... what about you? Are you feeling well?" Blizz asked worried. "Hmmh?," Aura wondered what she meant, "Oh, you know..." she quickly realized what Blizz intended. Aura looked away. Her fevering face burdened her. Such horrible feelings mixed with a sudden confused new emotion of love over a teammate. Her body was already getting ill. "I'm still alive." she answered with a fake smile. Blizz didn't understand what kind of answer was that. "Where's Anic? Have you seen him?" Aura asks instantly. "No, why?" Blizz wonders. "Just worried. He can be pretty reckless." she said. Blizz's eyes widened in fear. "Oh, no. Didn't he say something about 'revenge'...?! she asked herself. "Anyway, I'll see you later." said Aura, struggling to smile again. Blizz nodded and hurried out into the woods. "Anic, where are you?" she frantically asked herself. She ran out to the coast. From there, a few hours on boat or a paltry of minutes in an aircraft just to reach Eggman's base. "ANIC!!!" she tiredly yelled out. She watched the sea. She could hear its waves crashing down. But she couldn't see Anic. "Am I too late?" she pondered. "What's the problem, toots?" she recognized that voice. She turned around and saw Anic staring at the beach while sitting at the edge of the cavern they were on top of. She walked towards him, relieved. "Look at that." he says without looking away from the view. She looked out and saw Kiri and Haze walking in the beach. "I'm sure they won't miss me." he said calmly. "What?" she was baffled at what he meant. He sighs and stands up. He looked towards her. "I always liked you." he said. "Just what's going on with him?" she still couldn't figure him out. He walked towards her and placed his hand on her shoulder. She freaked. She had a bad sensation coming to her. She couldn't be anymore right. He pressed lightly on her shoulder and purposely pinched her nerve, causing her to pass out. She fell on his arms and he placed her on the ground laying against a tree. "Sorry, Blizz. But I can't let you tell anyone. I'll miss you." he walked towards the edge of the cavern. The fresh smell of sea hit him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I understand if this chapter seems out of whack. I got dizzy after reading my other chapters so fast while forcing myself to do it carefully so I wouldn't miss any mistakes. Plus I barely slept last night so you can only imagine how I felt after coming back from school and not resting. EDIT: I fixed the 'smmell' problem. But, recently, I've watched that episode again in youtube and let me tell you, I've forgotten alot of stuff.
