I'm new, but I have a purpose for being here. I'm a moderator at the Shadow of a Hedgehog City forums, and apparently some of your members have been coming over and advertising this forum in a manner that's against the rules, and bad-mouthing our forum without even being a part of it. I would appreciate if these members would stop causing issues for us at SoaH City and, if need be, stay away from our forum. If you happen to have members named Zafex and Shadowlord I would like to ask that you deal with them accordingly, as they are the primary culprits, and insist on ban-dodging to "warn" new members about our forum. Unfortunately this has been going on for at least a month or two now, and has led to the tightening of our board security which is intended to keep out trolls, not disgruntled members of other forums. I have only just been able to access SBF for some reason, but when I found I could access it I figured it would be a good idea to hop over as an ambassador of SoaH City forums and express this issue when the chance presented itself. As far as who I am goes (since I'm not just here to complain, heh), I'm known as Hedj in most places, and as I said, I help moderate another forum. I'm an artist, I grew up with the Sonic games and am also a fan of the more recent Phantasy Star games in the series. I'm 17 years old, but will be 18 very soon (in 25 days!), and currently reside in the United Kingdom. I attend a college where I take ICT and Music at BTEC level and English Language at A level. College has been a struggle for me recently but I think I'll manage. Thank you for your understanding, and I'd like to hope I can stick around for a bit? I am in no way trying to provoke disruption, nor advertise my home forum, I am simply bringing up a problem and hoping that it will be dealt with for the sake of both forums. Frankly those members i have never heard about. Probably been attained towards already. We have our so called security admin and he wouldn't just ignore something like this. O well, i am DragonFlame or as many call me DF. I am one of your local admins and i tend to help out if that matters to you. And all as well, we are a pretty nice community in matter of fact, so i couldn't understand about it's issue on two members causing trouble from here. Thus my final words is. Welcome to SB, make sure to enjoy your self around so you won't be disappointed. But from what i am looking upon, there shouldn't be much stress with you at all. See you around. |

Hi, I'm Maelic the Hedgehog. =P I tend to develop overly in-depth fancharacters and put too much time into every little thing I do. I can't live without perfection, hah. (Maybe that's why I never get anything done... A lazy perfectionist, isn't that something? *Shot*) I do tend to be a lil' disorganized, though, despite my need to have my projects top-notch. Lol, anyways... I'm sorry to hear that happened, and I'm a little concerned with... Who exactly were those invaders? If I recall correctly, there may be a member named Shadowlord... I'm unaware of a Zafex, though. Hopefully the staff have dealt with it. Miles the Cy-Fox would likely be the one to know about it if anyone does. As TUC stated, that isn't a regular occurance - We're usually pretty peaceful around here in matters such as that, but yes, we'll get a few bad eggs here and there. It's nice to meet you, though, and enjoy your stay. =D |
