And I like robots. The first place I did this required very long character bios, so I guess this is little longer than usually they are. And I know this seems a lame copy, but I just want to play robot hedgehogs, and that's all there is.^^ Also, I do not have picture of him, because I can't draw, and I am not completely sure what he should look, because I would like to make him look original, but not making metallix robot that does not seem to be copy of Metal Sonic is suprisingly hard. Name: MX-00 Prototype Mecha. Nicknames: Proto or Mecha. Species: hedgehog modeled metallix prototype. Gender: Genderless, male oriented. Age: Very old model of metallix series, but has spent a very long time of that deactivated. Faction: Unaffiliated. Personality: Proto has a very mixed personality, mainly because of his messed programming. He doesn't hate Sonic or other enemies of his creator, and hardly even knows who they are. He however dislikes organic beings, mainly because is robot himself. That is also why MX-00 feels sympathy to other metallix, because he knows that they are all, including himself, pitiable copies of their organic counterparts, especially because they have been programmed to be murder machines. Proto's personality is usually passive, but can change into sadistic if provoked or attacked, because he still has programming that makes him an assassin. MX-00 does not have goals, expect maybe finding something worthwhile to do. He also would like to meet Sonic, and know is he bad person or not. Proto does not have morale, but resorts to murder only as an last option, because he doesn't like doing something that can't be reverted. This doesn't stop him accepting assassination jobs, if client can actually pay to him in some sort of way MX-00 wants, since money means very little to him. If you would want to sum it up, Proto is not a bad person, but is not either a nice person, who does not have any goals, and because of that can do illogical or impulsive acts without caring what morals say about them. However, when in danger, MX-00 thinks his own survival first, and all other objectives later. His alignment would probably be true neutral or true neutral. Proto also believes in destiny, and thinks that everybody have some sort of reason of being who they are, even him. Appearance: Proto is metallix, and was modeled loosely based on mobian hedgehogs, which means that he has some resemblance to them and Metal Sonic, another metallix. MX-00 is little taller and bigger than you would probably think, mainly because his internal systems require much more room inside him. He doesn't have jet-engine, and has little bulkier hands and legs than you could think. Also, MX-00 is built to resemble hedgehogs in general, not Sonic, so there are differences. Proto's eyes are red, and he does have same kind of talons like all other metallix. He also has proper mouth, mainly because his internal electricity generator needs air vent so hot air that generator makes can exit from his body. MX-00's coloring is not a very spectacular, because his hull is mainly dull gray, with hints of blue at some places. His “shoes” are little darker gray, what almost looks like black. Proto's fingers are very sharp, and look like they could cut stone, and make people to think twice before handshaking him. In his back, MX-00 has a small box with red text that says “MX-00”, fact that Proto usually ignores, because he does not like to admit that he is only a prototype. History: Proto was one of the first models of the metallix series, and was built even before Metal Sonic, most famous of his "brothers". He was a test model, one of the few that Dr Robotnik made before he could decide how he should build a robot that would be able to mimic Sonic and surpass the hedgehog. That is why there are few great differences between Proto and other models of metallix series. MX-00's first moments of his life was when he was activated, and then deployed to a large survival training area. Proto succeeded fulfilling a goal that was programmed to him, which was exactly that: survival. Because MX-00 seemed to hold a great potential, Robotnik then proceeded to program Mecha to be an assassin robot with endless hate against Sonic, thinking that he maybe had already found his new secret weapon. However, this was where MX-00 failed. Robotnik first erased Proto's memory, and then filled it with same files he would be using to Metal Sonic in near future. But Doctor had forgotten one little thing: MX-00 had a secondary memory hardware, that preserved his original programming of survival. After programming was complete, and MX-00 was activated, these two separate programs collided, and almost erased each other. At first, nothing happened, but when Mecha had completed all test's that Robotnik had designed, and was ready to be deployed, Proto suddenly asked the reason his creator wanted to destroy Sonic. Doctor was surprised of this kind of behavior, and said that because Sonic was enemy. Then Mecha asked that why Sonic was enemy. Robotnik answered that because the hedgehog was stopping him ruling the world. MX-00 asked why he wanted to rule the world. At this point, Robotnik just deactivated Proto, because robot was way too free-willed and curious. Eggman studied his creation's "brain" and noticed that it was a mess. Nothing could be erased permanently, and any new programs would only be half-erased and then added to mess of data that made cornerstones of Proto's programming. There would not be any guarantee that MX-00 could follow orders, or even see Robotnik as his master. Further, test's told that Proto could not even hope to match Sonic's speed or agility, what did guarantee that it would be complete wreckage after fighting Sonic. Robotnik sighed, and stored his creation to one of his storages, and thought that he could try to repair MX-00 at some later point. However, Doctor forgot this prototype, since next model on line was exactly that what he had wanted. (Anybody want to guess who was that model?) Proto was in that same storage a very long time, and because Robotnik later deserted that base, no one came there. Finally, MX-00 was activated by pure accident. Old cleaner robot that was in that storage and had been cleaning it all this time, malfunctioned due the old age, and fell to console that it was cleaning, pressing button that activated Proto. Robot awakened, and was completely unaware of anything that had happened in outside world. MX-00 was programmed to survive, so it left the old base, and now wanders around, trying to think what it should do now, since its only programmed goal is it's own survival. Abilities: MX-00 was built two goals in mind: to be able to survive in any environment, and to be effective assassin. Like all metallix robots, he has set of talons in place of normal hands, which are effective slashing weapons. Because Proto were built to be able survive in any environment, he is water-proof. He does not like water, but it can't harm him if he is not damaged, in which case water can pour to his internal engines and make them malfunction. In his left hand, MX-00 has microscopic needles at the end of his fingers, which can inject to someone's bloodstream whatever he has in store. Usually poison. In his right hand's palm, there is small device, what can transmit electromagnetic pulse to something he touches, frying almost all machinery they come in contact with, but are relatively harmless to living beings, being able to only stun them or, if great amount of energy is used, launch bolt of electricity to target as an ranged attack. However, these kinds of things use a lot of energy, which is why he can't use them many times in day without risking becoming deactivated because of lack of energy. Third special system MX-00 has is not weapon system, but a first-aid kit. Robotnik thought, that if he would become injured when fighting Sonic or in somebody else, it could be good idea to have near something that could help. In his chest, Proto has built-in first aid kit, and his left hand's needles can also inject medicine or painkillers to target. Last notable thing is that MX-00 has hacker programming, and is very talented on that area. Weaknesses: MX-00 has many unusual advantages compared to other metallix, but he also has weaknesses. First of all, he does not have jet engine, so he can't fly. Secondly, Proto is much slower than Sonic, and could not even hope to match him in speed, even thought can still outrun almost any other organic being. He can however, make great leaps/jumps. 	Everytime Sega tries something new with Sonic games, everybody yell how it ruins everything, and later complains that why doesn't Sega try something new......
