Human souls that have become evil by straying from the path of humans have a high risk of becoming kishin. The ultimate goal of the students with their weapons is to have their weapons defeat and eat the souls of ninety-nine evil humans and one witch, which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami. The meisters have a rating system that goes from one to three stars which usually measures soul energy. It is important that the meister and weapon can tune their "soul wavelength" to perform high level attacks and bring out the weapon's full power. You must assist the Academy by becoming a meister and acquiring a demon weapon companion to fight off the souls of the kishin Rules: Each meister has at least one demon weapon companion which has both a weapon and natural form. Inside a cave,a young hedgehog is whistling to himself,laying back against a rock as he trys to solve a puzzle cube he'd bought in a store that he found in a town in Japan. I hope this cave isn't much longer,my food will only last for so long. he said,taking a bite of his banana. Freedom... Startled by the voice,Colby drops his cube into an underground river. Oh man,come on! He says,looking down into the river.Well,here we go! he said,turning into a small rat, hoping to climb down to get the cube.As he climbs down,his foot slips and he falls into the river, which to his shock,was much deeper than he thought.He returns to normal and trys to swim against the current,only to be swept deeper into the cave.Colby hits his head on a rock and slips into unconciousness. Freedom... Waking to a voice,Colby checks himself to make sure nothing was broken.Ow!Stupid river! he said,climbing to a dryer spot of the cave. Release me... Hearing the voice again,Colby follows it until he reaches a dead end.Crap! I guess i'm just imagining things.Stupid ca- , he starts to say as he trips over something long and round. Looking back in the dim cave light,Colby makes out the shape of a long shaft with a spearhead at the end. A spear? he thinks.Reaching out to touch it,a bright flash of light iluminates the cave. BLESSED FREEDOM! Colby hears the mysterious voice say. Standing in the center of the cave,a wolflike creauture with glowing eyes stares back at him. Wh-Who are you?! Colby asks in fear. I am Spawn the Werewolf.And you,my friend,have released me from my prison.
